Yoongi-period

I know i just did yoongi but i think this works better with yoongi so yeah. I imagined the original idea with Yoongi anyway. I know this may seem really weird but just hear me out ok. I promise I'll make it work 😂. Also FYI this will have talk of reproductive organs and perhaps talk of some slightly tmi bodily functions. If you ain't up for that, first of all why it's just called being human? Secondly just skip this chapter cool cool.

Yoongi always knew he was different when he was a child. His parents would put him in frilly pink dresses and grow his hair long, but the whole time it just felt wrong. He didn't feel right in pink skirts and pigtails. He wanted to wear trousers and shorts, and cut his hair short like the other boys. Like his brother. He always tried to be like his brother as often as possible. His parents just saw this a phase, thinking he must just be a tomboy. But when it got to his pubescent years, and he still felt the same way. So they took him to a doctor. Luckily, they went to a good doctor, who allowed him to transition (and convinced his parents to allow him to), rather than going to a doctor who would just send him to therapy to make him "want" to be a girl. So he started on hormone blockers, and was happy to see his chest wasn't growing like the other girls. And eventually he was started on testosterone, giving him the deep husky voice he's known for, the stubble he would shave off, etc. Luckily thanks to the early intervention, he got away without chest surgery, and as far as bottom surgery went, he just wasn't really interested, at least not right now. He would be single for a long time, thanks to his occupation, and to be able to even get bottom surgery he'd have to fly to another country and pay oodles for it. So for now, he just dealt with the dysphoria. After all, at this point, he was pretty much 90% man. His band mates found out pretty early on, and though it took some time, they eventually warmed up to him, accepting him for it. These days they'd often forget that Yoongi was ever even female.

Yoongi wasn't out to the public however. That would be a dangerous move for them, and could ruin their reputation, so he had to keep that a secret. Though when fans started pointing out how feminine his legs looked not long after they debuted, he undoubtedly felt uncomfortable. It brought back dysphoria he hadn't really felt for a while. Not that strong anyway. So he tried to work out his legs, get more muscly to hide the femininity of them.

But the one thing that gave Yoongi the most dysphoria by far, was his periods. He was devastated to hear that no matter how much hormone therapy he goes through, he will still get a period. It sucked. Not only cause periods suck in general, but cause on top of all the millions of other annoyances of a period, Yoongi had the added sprinkle of dysphoria to deal with as well. It was Yoongis least favourite time of the month, that's for sure. For a while he wanted birth control to stop his periods, but that would involve female hormones, so that was a big no no for him.
So he just dealt with them. They only last a week, after all.

Yoongi was sat in his studio, working on a new song. It was still in its early stages, so he didn't know what it would become yet, where it would go. For the past few days he'd felt some cramps in his lower abdomen, but brushed it off as just random cramps or needing to poop or something. But just now, as he was sat in his studio, he felt it. He just knew. All those with periods out there know that feeling, when you just know that your period has come. Yoongis eyes widened as he completes froze in his tracks. He got up, grabbed his bag and power walked to the bathroom. His mind was racing with thoughts like "is that sweat, discharge or blood?" And "what if someone sees me taking my bag to the toilet like a mad man?" He quickly locked himself in a stall and sat down on the toilet, and he saw it right there on his underwear. That red smear. Great. Another pair of underwear ruined.

He dug through his bag, looking for a pad. He'd always refused to use tampons, no matter how much more convenient they were, cause they just reminded him that he did indeed have a vagina. He wanted to avoid being reminded of that as much as possible. So despite pads being frumpy and awkward sometimes, he just got on with it. Besides, sometimes he liked how the pad would give him some extra padding in that area, almost looking like he had a bulge. Of course, it didn't really look like that, but it was enough for Yoongi to give a satisfied smirk when he looked in the mirror.
He ripped open the pad as quietly as possible. Even though he was alone in the bathroom so no one was here to hear the loud rip, he had to practice for a time when maybe there will be someone there. It took a while, but he finally managed to get the pad onto his now ruined boxers. He rolled his eyes at the fact that there was no bin in there to put the packaging in, so he had to just shove it in his bag and put it in the bin in his studio. He stood up, pulled his boxers up and cringed at the feeling. God he hated it. It made him feel like he was wearing a diaper or something.

He grabbed his bag, and started awkwardly waddling back to his studio, trying to walk as normally as possible. When he got back to his studio, he slowly lowered himself onto his chair, hoping to not get blood everywhere. He dug around in his bag for the empty packaging, and put it in his bin, hiding it underneath scrap pieces of paper and stuff, so no one could see it. He sat awkwardly in his chair, overly conscious of the blood slowly dripping out of him. He hated that feeling so much, constantly terrified of leaking. It only took a few minutes before his cramps picked up and he was left to rub a hand over the lowest part of his abdomen. The pain throbbed in waves, getting worse and worse each time. He dug around in his draw and found some ibuprofen, taking it straight away. Unfortunately, even after a few minutes, the ibuprofen did barely anything to ease the cramps. Yoongi rested his head on folded arms up against his desk. His eyes were scrunched closed and he puffed out some deep breaths, praying for the pain to go away, but it didn't. Next time he opened his eyes, the room span around him, getting light-headed from a mix of deep breathing and blood loss.

No way was he gonna get any work done today. Tears started filling his eyes until they were spilling out freely. These damn hormones made him more emotional when he just wanted to be the stone faced guy he wanted to be. He heard a knock on his door, making him slam a fist on his desk in anger.
"What!" He exclaimed angrily.
"Sorry hyung just wanted to see what you were doing..." Namjoon says awkwardly. "Are you ok?" He asks, noticing the tears spilling out.
"Yes I'm fine now just go away!" Yoongi says, flinching at the sound of his own voice rattling around in his head. Here we go with the headaches... he thought.

Although Yoongi came off as cold, he very rarely shouted at people like that. So Namjoon new almost straight away what was happening. His assumptions were confirmed when he saw the hidden pad wrapper peaking out from behind a piece of paper in his bin.
"Hyung..." Namjoon had to think carefully about his words. No matter what he said Yoongi would probably get mad, or worse yet, be triggered into a pile of tears. "I-is it... that time... again?" Yoongi just narrowed his eyes at Namjoon with a sigh.
"How did you know." He says with a monotone voice.
"Just... had a feeling..." Yoongi just flopped back into his previous position, head resting on folded arms on his desk. He lets out a moan and namjoon looks around awkwardly.
"D-do you need anything?" Yoongi just moaned again.
Namjoon sighed, biting his lip.
"Ok ok... Umm, what symptoms are you having?" Namjoon asks, what good it will do, he doesn't know.
"Everything." Yoongi replies bluntly.
"Have you... taken painkillers?" He asked. Yoongi nodded.
"Didn't do shit though." Namjoon sighed through pursed lips. He knew at this point there was no way Yoongi would get any work done. He should go home and rest. But could he get Yoongi to do that? That's the question.

Just as he was about to start to ask Yoongi is he wanted to go home, Yoongi retched through tightly closed lips, his cheeks ballooning as he slapped a hand over his mouth. Namjoon instinctively handed him his trash can, though it was made of metal wires weaved together, meaning it had holes in it. Meaning any liquid that went in it just dribbled out the sides. Namjoon cringed, panicking. There was nothing else they could possibly use in this room.
"Ok ok ok let's just get you to the bathroom ok?" Yoongi stood up on shaky legs, stumbling through the hallway to the bathroom again. He practically fell onto his knees into the first stall he saw, throwing up several times. Namjoon stood there, running a hand through his hair, looking around as if someone were to suddenly appear and help them. Yoongis eyes widened suddenly as he got up and sat on the toilet, slamming the stall door shut. Let's just say the sounds Namjoon heard indicated that Yoongi wasn't having a good time in there.

Yoongi cringed at the uncomfortable feeling of the sloppy stool, the way it slipped out of him with too much ease, feeling hot and as if it was burning him. It was embarrassing to say the least. It seemed to go on forever, and just as he thought he was done, it started again. By the end the toilet looked... well... like a very messy murder scene...
Yoongi cleans himself up, sniffing as tears of embarrassment slide down his cheeks.
"Yoongi... you ok in there?" Namjoon asks hesitantly with a knock on the door.
"Y-Yeah, I'll just be a second." Yoongi mumbles, finishing cleaning himself up. He unlocks the stall door and bolts past Namjoon to the sinks to wash his hands.
"Hyung I don't think you're in a state to be working. You should go home." Namjoon says carefully.
"But I can't. Bang pd won't let me, would he?" Yoongi said, his voice shaking despite his desperate attempts to sound calm.
"Yoongi, you literally threw up. You're sick, I'm sure he'd let you go home." Namjoon insists.
"But that wouldn't be fair. There are so many women out there who aren't allowed to skip work cause of their periods so why should I?" Yoongi replies.
"Well, I'm going to ask bang pd anyway. You literally threw up. you're in no shape to be working." Namjoon leaves, leaving Yoongi alone in the bathroom. Yoongi sighs and walks with wobbly legs back to his studio. Though his body clearly had other plans. A dizzy spell waved over him, that was so bad that he couldn't even see. Yoongi stopped in his tracks, holding his hands out in front of him as he tried so hard to see through the blurry moving vision.

Next thing he knew he was on the floor with Namjoon and bang pd stood right next to him.
"Yoongi! Are you ok?" Namjoon says, shaking him lightly. Yoongi just groaned in embarrassment. He'd full on passed out, in front of his own boss.
"I'm definitely sending him home. He shouldn't be working in this state. You can go with him Namjoon." Bang pd says before heading back to his office, to call for one of their drivers to pick them up.

"Yoongi? Are you awake? Can you sit up?" Yoongi just about managed to lift himself up with a groan, and he holds a hand to his throbbing head. He was still dizzy.
"Come on, let's go home yeah." Namjoon says, with a gentle hand on his shoulder. Yoongi sniffs, staring at the distance. His eyes turn sadder and his eyebrows crease as he broke into sobs, hiding behind his hands.
"Hey hey hey sssshhhhh it's ok." Namjoon says, shushing him and carefully rubbing his back.
"Let's just get you off the floor and back to the studio, yeah?" Namjoon says, and Yoongi tries to stand up, with the help of Namjoon, and they walk back to the studio together.

Namjoon gets a message saying their lift home has arrived and quickly organises Yoongi's things while he lays on the couch, curled into a tight ball.
"Cmon Yoongi-hyung. Let's go home." Namjoon says, and Yoongi slowly sits up.
"Do you need to go to the bathroom or anything before we go?" Yoongi nods, taking his bag and walks to the bathroom quickly locking himself in a stall. Namjoon waits outside, just to make sure he's ok.

It's gotten to the point where Yoongi just doesn't care anymore. He's so miserable, going through so much, that he doesn't care. He rips the pad off his underwear, folding it up and uses the wrapping of the new one to keep it neatly wrapped away. He cringes as he places it back in his bag, cause again, there's no bin, and places the new pad on, not worried about the noise anymore. He cleans himself up, and comes out, nodding to Namjoon as a way to say he's ok. He washes his hands, and together they head out to the car park and get taken home.

The moment he got home he chucked the used pad in the nearest bin, and immediately assumed a curled up position on the couch. Namjoon got busy supplying him with blankets and hot water bottles and more painkillers.

"Ugh. I hate periods." Yoongi said, to no one in particular.
"I can't even begin to imagine what it's like, hyung." Namjoon replies, sitting down next to him while placing a nice warm mug of tea in front of him.
"But at least when maybe one day you get a girlfriend, you'll have a bigger appreciation. You'll know what she's going through." Yoongi took the tea and took a sip.
"Yeah....

It still sucks though."

Ok I'm done haha. Well that was quick huh 😂😂 so what did ya think of that? It was a little weird but hey. Periods suck man. I'm lucky I don't have too many symptoms. I mean I get cramps pretty bad and it hurts my back a lot and sometimes I get nauseous. And obviously I get emotional lol but other than that it's never that bad. I feel bad for trans guys who have to deal with dysphoria alongside all the many struggles of dealing with a period.
Anyway, happy easter! 😂 have a good day, and imma get back to writing requests haha.
See ya in the next one!
안녕!!!👋🏻
