Little Yoongi- bumped head

More little Yoongi. Sorry 😂😂 I had this idea after seeing this tweet ( https://twitter.com/yoonseesaw/status/1151844394019897344?s=20 )about Yoongi bumping his head on the wall when looking for cards in a behind the scenes of a run ep. This one will probably be short but whatever (lol I thought it would be short👀😂😂😂 it's a long one so strap yourselves in). Also FYI Yoongi is an actual child in this not just a little. They're probably around 5 or maybe 6. k cool.

"Yaaaaaaaa" Yoongi screamed with excitement, running around the playground. He was being chased by taehyung and Jungkook. Unfortunately the bunny was just to fast and caught him quickly.
"No fair! Kookies faster than me!" Yoongi said with a pout.
"That's the point!" Tae says with a giggle, giving Yoongi a clumsy push.
"Well, you're it now. You gonna chase us or what?" Jungkook said with a sly smile. Yoongi furrowed his brows with determination, and arm reaching out to catch one of the two. Unfortunately, the clumsy child didn't see where he was going, and bumped right into a pole from a climbing frame. He fell back, winded, clinging his head in shock. It wasn't long before the wailing started.
"Oooooooowwwwwww" Yoongi wailed, clinging onto the right side of his forehead, where he bumped forcefully into the wooden pole. Tae and Jungkook stopped running and stared in concern when they heard Yoongis cries.
"What's wrong Yoongi?" One of the teachers asks, who had run over at the sound of Yoongis wails.
"M-m-my head" he said with yet another loud wail.
"Did you bump your head?" The teacher asks although of course it's a stupid question. By this point tae had shyly but curiously wondered over to the crying boy.
"Oh, tae! Can you take Yoongi to the nurse for me? Do you think you can do that?" The teacher asks, and tae nods with wide, sympathetic eyes. Tae had made many a visit to the nurse in his time at school due to his asthma, so he knew exactly where to go. Tae held Yoongis hand tightly as Yoongi struggled to walk next to him, still sobbing and crying.
"Don't worry Yoongi, the nurse will fix it! She always helps me!" Tae said cutely, though of course Yoongi paid no attention.

They got to the nurses office and tae knocked on the door. Yoongis wails has softened to little cries and whimpers, in between sniffs. The nurse opens the door and looks down, surprised to see taehyung here not because of himself but for someone else this time.
"What happened?" The nurse asks softly, bending down to there level.
"Yoongi bumped his head." Tae said for him. Yoongi was still crying and whimpering.
"Oh dear! How did he do that?" The nurse says, welcoming them into her office.
"We were running around and he ran into a pole." Tae said.
"Oh what a shame. Can you sit up here Yoongi?" The nurse asks, patting the soft chair. Yoongi sniffs and released his hand that was glued to taes, and shuffles onto the chair.

After pushing his hair back slightly, the nurse could already see a red bump on the poor boys forehead.
"Ooo that's quite a bad one Yoongi!" She says, inspecting it closer. She touches it very gently, to be met with a wailing Yoongi and hands swatting her away.
"I'm sorry Yoongi I didn't mean to hurt you." She says, comforting the poor boy before turning around to the small fridge kept in the room, and pulls out an ice pack.
"This might sting a little bit Yoongi but I promise it will make it better ok?" The nurse says, before carefully placing the ice pack on his head. Yoongi whimpered again at the sting, but only for a little bit before the cold numbed the pain.
"Does it feel better?" She asks softly. Yoongi goes to nod before he realises he can't, due to the ice pack held against his head. So instead he just hummed:
"Mmhmm"
"Do you think you can hold this for me while I write something down?" She asks, and Yoongi obeys, holding the ice pack on his forehead. By this point tae had also shuffled onto the cushioned seats and scooted next to Yoongi. He was a very sympathetic kid, and all he wanted to do was see his best friend smile again. The nurse was writing stuff down on a piece of paper, protocol for when kids hit their heads. It has a picture of a head and they cross where they hit it, along with writing down if they feel any other symptoms etc.
"Yoongi? Are you feeling dizzy?" The nurse asks, expecting his answer to be no. But her expectations weren't met. Yoongi nodded, his eyes still sad. The nurse tried to hide her shock.
"How dizzy are you feeling Yoongi? Very dizzy or just a bit?" She asks, now getting worried for the boy. She new it was quite bad, but not this bad. It wasn't often she had kids coming in with concussions.
"In the middle..." Yoongi replied honestly. The nurse hums with concern, wondering if she should even send him back to class.
"Ok, on a scale of 1 to 10, how dizzy are you?" She asks, hoping to get a better idea of how bad it is.
"Umm...4" he replies, cutely holding 4 fingers up.
"Ok..."she says with concern. She wrote more stuff down on the paper, and opted to send him back to class, since recess had ended now.
"I'm gonna send you two back to class, but if you don't feel good Yoongi then make sure you tell your teacher and they can bring you back here ok?" She says gently, feeling sympathy for little Yoongi. Yoongi nods, his eyes sad and closing.
"Here, you can have a sticker." She says, peeling a sticker off the sheet and sticking it on his uniform. It has a cartoon character in the middle and text around the edge saying "I bumped my head!" The nurse helps him stand up, and holds his hand, and tae holds his other hand as they walk back to class. Yoongi walks slowly, swaying slightly.

When they get to the classroom, she hands Yoongi the sheet of paper and sends him to his seat while she talks to his teacher.
"I don't know if you know but he bumped his head quite hard during recess. He said he was feeling a bit dizzy so just keep an eye on him and make sure he's ok. If anything's wrong just send him back to me." She said. The teacher nodded before going back to her class. She made sure the assistant teacher was sat next to Yoongi to keep an eye on him and be there if anything happens. She goes on with the class, glancing at Yoongi every now and again. The poor thing doesn't look good. He looks pale and his eyes are half-closed and full of sorrow. She is asking the class questions and decides to ask Yoongi the next one.
"Yoongi? Can you answer this for me?" She asks, pointing to the simple math problem on the board. Yoongi doesn't say anything, still staring off into space with glazed-over eyes.
"Yoongi?" She says, trying to catch his attention. Still no response. It felt so strange. Yoongi would usually be very loud and giggly, but now he was completely silent. The assistant teacher starts trying too, placing a gentle hand on his shoulder, and he finally moves. The whole class watches in silence as the teacher walks over to Yoongi's desk and crouches in front of it.
"Are you ok Yoongi?" He shakes his head, still staring off into the distance.
"Do you want to go back to the nurse?" She asks, Yoongi nods.
"Ok," She says softly before turning to the assistant. "Can you take him?" The assistant nods and takes his hand as he wordlessly slides off the seat he was sat on and walks with the assistant to the nurses office again, crying silently. The only indication of him crying was the sniffles they heard every so often.

He must be very dizzy. He can't even walk in a straight line. The assistant thinks, as Yoongi keeps walking from left to right. It was quite worrying. At one point, Yoongi trips and stumbles over nothing, and he falls to the floor, his cries finally making an appearance. The assistant teacher picked up up, sitting him on her hip, bouncing him gently.
"It's ok," she says several times as she tries to console him, rubbing his back as he cries into her shoulder. She carries him the rest of the way.

She knocks on the door, and the nurse let out a sympathetic sigh at the sight.
"Sorry for coming back so soon but he just really isn't doing good. He was staring off into the distance the whole time." The assistant says. Yoongis cries had now quietened back to sniffles.
"Ok, just put him down here." She says, motioning to the set of cushioned chairs.
"In all my years of working here I've never had a child bump their head this hard before." The nurse says, turning to get some things from her desk.
"You can go back now." She says, and the assistant teacher gives Yoongi one last supportive back rub before turning and heading back to the classroom. Yoongi just carried on staring into the distance.
"Ok Yoongi, I'm going to have to do a few tests on you, but don't worry, they won't hurt, they might just be a bit uncomfortable." She says softly. Yoongi doesn't respond, still staring into space.
"Yoongi?" She asks getting extremely worried now. "Did you hear me?".....................

Yoongi nods, ever so slightly, and the nurse sighs with relief.
"If you want me to stop just say ok?" She says super softly, being careful around Yoongi since he seems to be very sensitive. Yoongi nods softly, his head hung low. The nurse grabs her stethoscope, starting with listening to his heart. She places the bell of the stethoscope to his chest and listens carefully- everything's normal. She moves to his back to listen to his breathing- still, everything's normal. She takes her otoscope and looks in his ear. He cringes and whines slightly. But still- everything's normal. She takes a flashlight, and shines it in his eyes to see if his pupils dilate properly. And still- everything's normal.
"Sorry Yoongi, it's all done now. No more tests." She said, her heart aching after hearing him whine the whole time.
".....my tummy hurts." Yoongi mumbles, finally saying something, even though it was so quiet it was hard to hear.
"Do you feel like you're gonna throw up honey?" She asks, resting her hand on his back.
"Mmhmm" He says, his voice shaking and his eyes widen with fear. He starts shaking and the nurse reaches for an emesis bowl and brings it under his chin just in time. He brings up an upchuck of undigested food and stomach acids. He chokes and trembles, letting out loud sobs.
"It's ok honey." She says, rubbing his back. The poor thing was in a lot of distress. "Take deep breaths for me."
"H-help-p me-e" he chokes out. The nurses heart clenched.
"You're ok honey, come on deep breaths for me." She says, her hands on his shoulders. Yoongi chokes out a few deep breaths, more like wheezes, followed by sobs and coughs.
"That's it, you're ok. You just worked yourself up honey." She gently rubs his shoulders with her thumbs, her heart sinking at the sight of tears rolling down his face.
"Do you think you're gonna throw up again or are you done?" Her soft tone gave Yoongi a strange sense of comfort.
"I think 'm done." He says, a whine still present in his voice.
"Ok honey," she says, placing the emesis bowl to the side. She hears Yoongi start sobbing, and quickly attends to him.
"Are you ok honey?" She asks. Yoongi nods, wiping away the tears and snot. "Just feeling a little down huh?" She says, rubbing his back gently. "How about you take a little nap? Are you feeling tired?" She asks. Yoongi nods, and the nurse grabs a pillow and a blanket, allowing him to sleep across the cushioned chairs.
"Just take a little nap honey. I'll call your parents so they can take you home." She says, softly stroking his hair and his eyes quickly drift close, before she goes back to her desk, calling reception through the phone on her desk.
"Hi, could you call Min Yoongi's parents to come and pick him up? He hit his head quite hard during recess and he's feeling a little ill now and I don't think he should be in class." She says over the phone, speaking quietly so as to not wake Yoongi up.
"Ok thank you" She types a different number into the phone, and calls Yoongi's teacher, telling her that he's going home.

The teacher says that she needs someone to take Yoongi's stuff to him, and immediately taes arm shot up.
"I'll go I'll go!!" He said enthusiastically. He just wanted to see Yoongi again and make sure he was ok.
"Ok taehyung you can go." Tae immediately shoots up, grabs his stuff and power walks to the nurses office.

He walks in, and the nurse puts a finger to her lips telling him to be quiet. He tiptoes into the room, placing Yoongi's bag down and closing the door behind him. He waddled over to the nurse, she was expecting him to ask for his inhaler or something, but instead, he cutely asked, "is he ok?" Her heart is warmed by taes cuteness and sympathy for his friend.
"Yeah, he's ok, don't worry." She said. Tae then noticed the pungent smell of vomit in the room.
"...did he puke?" Tae asks, his eyes wide. The nurse sighs.
"Just a little bit. He's ok don't worry." Tae hummed with a sad tone.
"But he hit his head? Why did he puke if he hit his head?" Tae asks curiously.
"It's just cause he's dizzy honey. Don't worry." At that moment Yoongi's mother arrived, knocking on the door of the nurses office, before carefully opening the door.
"Oh! You must be Yoongi's mother!" The nurse says, near to a whisper. She nods and looks over to her baby, sleeping peacefully.
"He hit his head quite hard whilst playing in the playground, and now he doesn't feel very well, he's dizzy and he threw up once earlier. But I think he'll probably be ok, just keep a close eye on him and if he gets worse then take him to a doctor or to the hospital. But hopefully he'll be ok." She says, quietly.
"Ok thank you." His mother replies.
"You can wake him up gently." The nurse says, and his mother nods, wondering over to the sleeping boy. Tae was stood watching everything with wide, sad eyes.

"Yoongi baby, eomma's here." She says softly, stroking his hair. He stirs slightly with a soft groan, and his eyes peel open.
"Eomma..." he whines, reaching his arms up. He hugs his mother tight, with a pouty face.
"My...my head hu-urts." He says softly, digging his head into her shoulder.
"I'm sure it does honey. It's ok. We'll go home yeah?" She says, gently rubbing his back. Yoongi looks over and sees Tae standing there with glossy eyes.
"Taetae..." he says, pulling away from his tight hug to reach to tae. Tae waddles to him and hugs him tightly.
"Get better soon Yoongi." Tae says cutely, with a sniff. Yoongi nods, going straight back to clinging onto his mother. Tae waddles back over to where he dumped Yoongi's bag and handed it cutely to his mother.
"Thank you taehyung." She says, throwing the bag over her shoulder and lifting Yoongi up.
"Thank you so much for looking after him." She says to the nurse.
"It's ok. I'm just doing my job." The nurse said with a soft smile and bowed. Yoongi's mother left through the door, leaving just the nurse and taehyung in the room.
"You should head back now taehyung. Unless you need something?" Tae sniffed and and nodded a little before turning to the door.
"Are you ok taehyung?" The nurse asked, noting his sad disposition. Tae thinks about it for a bit before shaking his head and sniffing.
"Come here, let's talk about it." She said, seeing taes faces scrunch up and a few sobs escape. She opens her arms wide and envelopes him in a tight hug. He keeps sobbing into her chest as she rubs his back lovingly.
"What is it sweetheart? Talk to me." She says softly into his ear. He pulls away from the hug for a moment to wipe his tears and stutter out a response.
"I-I'm worried ab-bout Yoong-gi."
"Oh honey, don't worry he'll be ok. I promise" the nurse replies, swooning over how cute Tae is, being so full of love for his best friend.
"B-But what if he's not?" Tae says. The nurse was slightly taken aback.
"I-if he's really not ok, then he'll go to the hospital, but thats ok. That's what hospitals are for. To help people, right?" Tae nods. He knows full well that hospitals are there to help. He'd taken a few trips there himself.
"Ok? I promise you he'll be ok. Now I think it's about time you got back to class. Your teachers probably wondering where you are! Do you want me to come with you?" Tae nodded sheepishly. Usually he would pride himself on being an independent little boy, but at this point in time, he didn't feel like going on his own.
"Ok, come on let's go." The nurse takes his hand and they walk back to class together.

———the next day———

Tae waits nervously, constantly looking around for Yoongi. If he didn't turn up for school today then Tae would get worried that Yoongi was in hospital or something, and he didn't want that. He kept looking around, nervously chewing on his fingers, until he saw a familiar face at the gate. A huge smile plastered on his face and he giggled slightly. Yoongi was ok. He quickly ran over to him and enveloped him in a hug.
"'Oongi!!!!! Are you ok now?" Tae asked cutely.
"Yeah! I'm all better now! Look! I have Spider-Man bandaids!!!" He said, pointing to the two bandaids on his forehead in a cross where he hit his head. They were only there because he had convinced his mother to let him have them.
"Wow cool!" Tae said cutely. It wasn't long until they heard the bell ring, and left their parents to go to class.

Oh my gosh wow. A long one!! Also yeah sorry about it taking a little while, I went through a bit of a writers block but I've got through it now! I do have a request that I'm still finishing up, but I just got so excited writing this one that I finished it first. This whole story is largely based on my childhood lol. The whole thing about getting a sticker and that sheet of paper is exactly what happened at my primary school. I have a vivid memory of me and my friend bumping our heads together on purpose just to get a sticker. Yeah we were weird children. Also let me know if you want another chapter from this same au about taes asthma, cause I'm kinda tempted to, but I wanna hear what y'all want! Oh also just FYI I haven't proofread this so if there's any mistakes feel free to point them out.
Thanks for sticking with me through the break, and I'll see you in the next one, hopefully a little sooner next time!!! 😂
안녕!!! 👋🏻
