What everyone expected to be a concert like any other, turned into a horrible experience, for bts and ARMYs alike. A night that would never be forgotten, and not in a good way.

They were back stage, getting ready for their first rehearsal of the day. Everyone made sure to keep a watchful eye on Jungkook, as he had been ill the past few days, and was only now starting to recover. Of course, he insisted that he performed that night, reassuring them that he would tell them if he didn't feel good and he wouldn't push himself. But still, knowing Jungkook, the members knew they still have to keep and eye out.

The first rehearsal went perfectly fine, and the members where starting to ease their worries and relax seeing Jungkook performing as normal. There was no sign of anything wrong. After the first rehearsal they went backstage, and jungkook was checked over by a medic, just to be sure he wasn't pretending. And he wasn't. The only thing bothering him was a slight headache, but he just took some painkillers and carried on as normal. Then it got to soundcheck, and still, everything was normal, if not great. Jungkook had even more energy seeing ARMYs so excited to see them. A medic checked him over quickly again, and still nothing. If anything his condition had improved. Everything was normal.

For now.

It got to just a few minutes before the start of the concert, and that's when things started to go down. Jungkook said he felt cold, and he was shivering, even refusing the ice and fanning the backstage crew were giving him, like they usually do. But since they had been reassured that he was fine, they didn't really question it. And everything carried on as normal.

The concert started, and to everyone else, everything seemed fine. Jungkook, however, was starting to worry. He didn't feel good. He felt like he was freezing cold yet at the same time he was sweating bullets, more than he would usually. The dancing they were doing sure didn't help.

Just a minute or so into the first number, things went really downhill, really fast. Suddenly he couldn't control his movements. He was trying to dance, but he couldn't. The members all tried to carry on, but knew something was seriously wrong. He fell onto his hands and knees, dangerously close to the edge of the stage. All the members eyes turned to him, still half heartedly dancing, waiting to see if he would stand up. But he didn't stand up. His arm jerked and he slipped to the side, falling off the stage. The crowd went eerily silent, not sure what to do. Fans screaming his name and sobbing was all that could be heard after the music stopped abruptly and all the members ran straight to him. Luckily he was caught by one of the guards so he didn't fall to the floor. The sight seen by the fans by the barriers were truly traumatic.

Jungkook was placed on the ground, jerking erratically, groaning with each painful clench of his muscles. The fans further back still had no clue what was happening, until the word was slowly spread back further and further.

'Seizure'

Word was quickly spread online, and fans from all over the world were freaking out, already starting hashtags wishing for Jungkooks well being. The boys were begging for Jungkook to be taken backstage, but that just wasn't possible. They had to wait until his seizure was over before they could move him. He had been placed on the floor next to the stage and they got a thick jumper from one of the staff and placed it under his head so he wouldn't hit it, but other than that, there was nothing they could do other than wait it out.

Some fans were trying to climb over the barrier, while the guards where desperately trying to push them back to give them some privacy. Luckily, at that moment, Jungkook stopped seizing and they could quickly escort him backstage. Jin picked him up, holding him over his shoulder, and followed them all under the stage and backstage. Jin felt Jungkook shake in his grip, luckily just the result of having jitters as an aftermath of the seizure. Some paramedics had already been called and met them backstage and quickly helped diagnose and help Jungkook. Jin laid Jungkook on the floor gently and stepped back, allowing the paramedics to take over. They quickly attached a heart monitor to his chest, and put an oxygen mask around his nose and mouth, just for precaution. One of them took his temperature, while the other one was doing tests to test his responses.

Jungkook was only just conscious, with no recollection of what happened. The last thing he remembered was standing on stage, next to his members. Now, he had no clue where he was, what happened to him, who was around him, what they were saying. He felt his heart beat faster in his chest, as he felt the anxiety building from the unfamiliarity. Everyone else in the room heard the heart monitor speed up, and they all started panicking, scared that something was happening, but the experienced paramedics immediately knew what was happening. One of them sat right next to him and said loud and clearly "it's ok Jungkook-ssi. I need you to listen to me." With that, they all heard the beeping slow down.
"We're going to take care of you ok?" With that they heard Jungkook sigh deeply and saw him visibly relax.

One of the paramedics gave the diagnosis.
"He seems to have had a febrile seizure, meaning a seizure caused by a sudden change in temperature. This is most common in children, but it can happen in adults too if their temperature changes a large amount in an extremely short time, which is what appears to have happened here. We'll take him to a hospital and try to get his temperature down, and he should be ok." Everyone breathed a sigh of relief hearing that he would be ok, as they were all so scared that there was something seriously wrong.

The paramedics lifted him onto a stretcher, placing a cooling blanket over him and he was quickly escorted out to a hospital. All the fans were told to leave and that they'd get a refund. The internet went crazy worrying about jungkook, spreading hashtags and speculating about what was happening. Tons of news articles on Kpop websites and even other news websites were talking about what happened. It was trending worldwide on twitter, and there were even people who had video of it happening, though luckily they were taken down not long after they were posted.

Bighit eventually released a statement, telling fans exactly what happened.
We are sure you are all aware of the happenings at tonight's concert. We want to assure you what Jungkook is ok and is being cared for in hospital. He had been ill a few days prior, and had a sudden rise in temperature, causing a febrile seizure. Concert over the next few days will be cancelled and refunded. We will give more updates on his condition in the future, but for now he is in a stable condition and being cared for. We ask that you keep Jungkook in your thoughts.

When they arrived at the hospital, Jungkook was quickly whisked away to a private room, where a doctor checked him over to make sure there was nothing to serious going on. He was given an iv and he started to wake up, since he was pretty drowsy before, which was when the other members were allowed to go in and see him.

They were all so glad that he was ok, and there was nothing serious going on, but that didn't mean they weren't still shaken up after what happened. They walked in to see Jungkook hooked up to all sorts of wires and contraptions. It was a sorry sight. Taehyung immediately went over to Jungkook, holding his hand gently with glassy eyes.
"Are you ok Jungkook?" Tae asked with a shaky voice.
"H-h-h-hu-u-urt-t-ts-s" He stuttered out.
"Don't worry, the stutter is just a side effect of the seizure. It will go away. And he's likely to have severe muscle pain for the next few days as another effect of the seizure. It'll pass with time. For now he's receiving painkillers through the iv. They should take effect soon."
They all sighed sadly, as the doctor left them. They couldn't believe this had happened to their kook, let alone during a concert, in front of all their fans. Who knows what had been spread online. The thought of videos spreading was a horrible one. No one want videos like that of them spreading, it would ruin your dignity. Namjoon got his phone out and decided to scroll through twitter, even though he was scared to. He was super glad to see #getwellsoonjungkook trending no.1 worldwide. He smiled slightly, scrolling through all the heartfelt posts from fans, and little to no videos.
"Guys, look at this." Namjoon said, holding his phone out to everyone. He watched as soft smiles spread across everyone's face.
"Hey Jungkook, the world is telling you to get well soon." Jimin said, turning to Jungkook. He watched as Jungkook smiled slightly, letting out a content sigh.

Jungkook spent the night in hospital, just so they could monitor him and make sure he was definitely alright before they sent him home. Namjoon and Jimin stayed with him, while the rest went back to their hotel rooms, since they wouldn't all fit in the small hospital room. The next day Jungkook was sent home, with some painkillers just to help with the muscle pain. Bighit put out another official statement, saying that Jungkook was ok, and was just resting. Jungkook also posted on their account to say that he was ok and to say thank you for all the nice messages from armies everywhere. They held another concert to make up for the ones they missed, and jungkook did perform, but he sat to the side, since his muscles were still aching too much to dance. Of course it was very emotional for him, hearing all his fans screaming for him, and still supporting him despite what happened. He felt so grateful that he had fans that were still there for him through some of the hardest times in his life.
