Well, our competition has finally and officially begun. I hope that all of our participants followed the instructions of their respective judges so that you did not lose 5 points from your scores.Kindly don't seek out your critics, demanding scores or harassing them if your scores are low or the reviews are not to your liking. Be respectful and the critic's decisions are final.

💎As you know, our hosts decided together not to eliminate in Round 1 the Aesthetics Review Round  ,for which some books might be hidden gems even if their aesthetics are bland orunassuming.g

Where the first part of your book has been evaluated from the first impression ,which is your cover,title  ,blurb etc. You also get extra points if you show creativity in your book by supplying banners, images, moodboards,etc. Points were also given for your prologue or first chapter where your characters have been introduced. If you lack certain aspects in your book, don't despair because you also get points from your hosts based on the first impression of your book, which might boost your scores. There will be no elimination in Round 1.

But where is the fun in that! So, you might have noticed in the Critics round that you had to choose an emoji and numbers. If you haven't done that yet. Kindly do it asap in the critic season.

You may ask, now what's the deal with that?

Simple,

💎Because no elimination will take place in Round 1 and because all the round 1 scores will place the best scoring books in the finalist list of the Subcategory Best Visual Art competition. You will now use your chosen emojis to :

a. Dethrone your competitors in the Visual Aesthetic Race by becoming a FOE or

b. Reintroduce your competitor into the race by becoming a FRIEND

For every category that you have entered, you can choose from two emojis and three numbers from 1-3 (-or +). Those figures can make or break your category competitor.

💎How does it work? You may ask, what do these numbers even mean? ---

Round 1 will have its own unique and 'friendly' elimination. However, YOU will decide who will be a Visual Art finalist by using your chosen emojis and numbers.

This is what those emojis mean:

The game is called "Friend or Foe"  players' card.

-😢means  BLUDGEON by a FOE-numbers are the intensity of the blow in -1, -2, or-3.3

OR

-😂meanss GLOW UP by a FRIEND-numbers are the intensity of the glow, 1, 2, or, 3

💎Your usernames will be posted and the players' card you chose will be next to your username. You will secretly choose another producer only in the category you are competing in by PMing the host's account with the username of your chosen friend or foe.

But takes it into account. Even if you choose the foe player card, it will have no effect on the real scores of the producers. All that it will do is add or subtract from the final rating score of Round 1.

But their original scores will remain intact for the rest of the competition.

💎If you decide you don't want to use your players' card. You send a PM with the word "STAY" means you stay immune, but remember you can get kicked out of the Visual Art race by someone else by using friend or foe against you.

But if a FOE player card is used against you and your score is already over 30+ out of 40, you get the gift of being BULLETPROOF This 💣emoji will be placed next to your Username if you make the finalist list to show you got in purely by "merit" and not by a " glow up".

💎Eg. (how does it work?)   

1. producer (e.g. @ThaiSenpai)-choose Foe players card (😢-3) against Authortius-her username will be Pm by @ThaiSenpai to the main host's account.

Authortius score is .21/40 score in Round 1.

So after the Foe player card comes into effect, her score will now be 21-3    = 18/40.

This means @Authortius might lose a spot in the Visual Art sub-category competition if she was part of the higher scorers.

However, her Round 1 score of 21/40 will not be affected in her chosen category competition. 

💎The 'Bulletproof' producers with an original core of 30+ will not be affected by whether or not they receive a foe player card, implying that the bulletproof producer will be immune.

They will automatically qualify for the Visual Art Competition. Where the best scorers will come out as victors.

Those producers who received under 30 scores will be posted per category with the cards they originally chose. You cannot choose two producers as foes or friends. The host will privately inform you if your chosen foe or friend is already picked. Nobody will know who picked them; only the main hosts will know.

You can choose "Stay"' and DM it to the host, meaning you opt out of being a foe or friend. But you will not be immune to any playing cards that are used against you. So, rather: play the game and be a good sport.

Reminder: Round 1 scores will not be affected by the main elimination in Round 2. Even if your book got kicked out of the Visual Art subcategory competition, you might still advance to the final rounds. So don't fear.
