💡What is new in this awardS? - The series ( books) will be reviewed in rounds. 

This is very important to all TV critics( JUDGES ); read carefully.

Critics must use the format strictly.

 -Round 1

💡 Aesthetics review- Cover/Title/ Blurb/ Character mood boards/ Prologue 

-Is the series (books) interesting enough to proceed to the next round? Here the critics will scan the book's appeal at first glance. It must attract readers to click and proceed to chapter 1. It must be attention-grabbing.

Criteria FOR CRITICS: Important!

- Cover -/5

( colour/ hues flowed together,  aesthetics, creativity, complex imagery or design/ too much or too less, crowed/simple, professional  appeal)

-Title - /5

( aesthetic font, match the theme or tone of storyline, unique or common)

-Blurb- /5

(Does it match the storyline, too much or no spoilers, description -is it catchy, entice you to click to the next chapter)

-Character ( bio/mood boards)-  /10

( character introduction, imaginative face claims, awesome personality or traits description, aesthetic mood boards)

-Proloque -  /5

(Is it thrilling-fills you with awe, anticipation, and excitement, making you want to read on, or repulsive-making you want to stop reading? Is it overused or monotonous?)

💡Critics scores - /30

💡Host scores-    /10   (Based on first impressions)

Short review- What do you like and why will the series advance or be eliminated from the race.

                                       30 + 10 = 40 ( ROUND ONE SCORE)

These scores will be sent to the host via DM. 

-The top scorers in the Aesthetics review will be a finalist in the Best Visual Art sub-category.

- 2 /3  Books with the lowest scores will be eliminated in the Aesthetics Review round.

Round 2

💡Writing Style Review- Grammar, Spelling, Editing, Original Plot and Character development.

Criteria FOR CRITICS: Important!

- Grammar and Spelling (Editing)- /10

( basic grammar skills, no spelling, syntax, punctuation is it on point etc.)

- Original Plot - /10

( is the plot interesting, never read or seen before, overuse or has the  original "wow" effect, eager to read, great plot twists or cliffhangers)

-Character Development  -   /10

( deep character building/ dialogues, characters are one-dimensional or very interesting, it flows with the description of the personalities and traits used in round one ( character bio, characters are flat, they are confusing or they place you in a mood, you hate/love/wants to kill them/ the main lead- protagonist's role is mundane, no growth, second leads ( Are there Tritagonists -who cause plot twists, conflicts or suffering to the Protagonist, Antagonist- is he/she a real 'bad guy who plots and oppose or is constantly hostile towards the protagonists)

Review: Place all the criteria's reviews in one paragraph

- Top-scoring books will advance to round 3 the final round.

The top scorers in the Writing Style review will be a finalist in the Best Editing category.

- Here the "FRIENDSHIP GOALS" will be revealed  later

Round 3: 

💡Original Plot Review- Interesting storyline ( settings ), Descriptive and Poetic language, Vocabulary usage, flow and overall enjoyment

Criteria FOR CRITICS: Important!

- Storyline ( interesting settings)-   /10

(Is it possible for the characters to sound like the eras they are in, for example, too modern for medieval settings; does the character, for example, who is British, sound or speak like an Afro-American or Australian? Are the accents on point? Is the setting well researched? Are there images or visual aids to help with the imagination of foreign places or objects?)

-Descriptive or Poetic Language/ Vocabulary - /10

(Awesome descriptive language-plain or too difficult to understand-the emotions depicted-show not tell/vocabulary makes you grab a dictionary and gives you the wow effect/ Poetic language makes you swoon ("aww") or make you "bleh!")

Flow of story ( Too fast/slow)- /5

(The flow is logical, runs smoothly and realistically; there are not a lot of time skips or too many flashbacks; awesome plot twists; great conflict and resolution)

Overall Enjoyment -  / 5

(You were in awe of the story since round one/you want to read it again or place it in your readers' list and even recommend it to friends; or did the book give you second-hand embarrassment or too cringy but good enough to advance)

Final reviews from rounds 1-3 in one paragraph will be compiled together.

The top scorers in the Original Plot review will be a finalist in the Best Screen Presence sub-category

Top judge-Judge who is first with their scores, visible and has the most comprehensive reviews with great advice for producers (authors)


TV CRITICS must start reading or scanning their Series (books)for ROUND 1 when Series (books) are allocated.
