You gasped looking at the pregnancy test in your hand. Your breathing became uneven and your mind went running in a thousand different directions. 'Is it real ? Am I really pregnant? Oh my lord.' All the thoughts came to a halt when you heard a knock at the door. "Babe? Are you fine?" You heard your husband's concerned voice, outside the toilet and instantly jolted up surprised. "Oh! Um Yeah Babe. It's just the chicken I ate today." "Uh okay babe." You reassured him before looking back at the test. It's really happening. You two have been wanting a baby for quite some time now especially him. You were always in awe when you looked at your husband's love for kids. He was always so patient and caring with them. It only made you smile of how he'll treat his own.
You were debating if you should reveal the news right away or wait a week for his birthday and give him the biggest surprise ever. You couldn't hold your excitement but decided against it. 'I will visit a doctor before revealing it on his bday.' You squealed in excitement but quickly covered your mouth so that your husband doesn't get suspicious.

It was the third day after you visited a doctor and she confirmed it. You could barely hide it as every time you saw him, a huge grin would break on your face and he would always ask the reason behind it. You always made an excuse. You prepared breakfast and sat next to him. You were devouring the pancakes one after another in a hurry. Namjoon looked at you wide eyed "Woah Y/N calm down. Nobody is taking the food away from you. Eat it properly don't swallow it." You pouted "I'm hungry since I've too eat for too now." You mumbled while the food was still in your mouth. "WHAT?" You looked up at his shocked expression and realised what you said nearly choking on your food. You finally calmed down after drinking a whole glass of water. "What did you say ?" He asked again. "I- I said Uh I was too hungry." You avoided his gaze that was directed towards you. "No after that." He asked again. "Argh Joonie you are just hearing things. Eat your breakfast or you'll late to work." You said casually hiding your nervousness. 'Phew I managed to avoid him but I have to be more careful next time.' You mentally slapped yourself before continuing to eat.

His birthday
Tomorrow is finally the day, the big day. You planned everything. You wanted everything to be perfect just like him. Well not entirely especially considering the fact that you had to shop very week to again buy the things he broke almost everyday. Sometimes it annoyed the hell out of you but then again looking at his terrified yet cute face he made after he broke something made you laugh. He wasn't perfect but he was the best husband one could ask for and you were more than grateful to have him in your life.
    It was almost 12 when you heard your husband snore. 'Is he serious? He's sleeping on his bday' you scrunched up your nose looking at your stupid husband. You brought the cake you prepared and sat it on the bed beside him. You bent down and kissed his cheek before calling him "Joonie baby wake up." He groaned in his sleep but woke up when he felt your lips on his and immediately began kissing back. You hit his chest before breaking the kiss. "Wake up you sleepyhead or you won't get any kisses." He rubbed his eyes before sitting up and was surprised when he saw a cake kept beside him. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY." Was written on the cake in big bold letters. He looked back at you with a smirk.
"Daddy? Hmm . I guess my birthday will start off good." You lips curled into a smile because you knew he wouldn't get the hint and you did not want him to know. There's time. You leaned forward to claim his lips. "Happy birthday Baby'' you spoke in between the kiss and he smiled before pulling back. You handed him the knife and you happily sang him a birthday song while clapping. He giggled at your childish behaviour unknown of the fact you carried a child in yourself. His child.he fed you the cake and you did the same. "So where's my gift baby girl?" He smiles at you and you felt your insides burn. He still had that effect on you. Damn this man. He was leaning to again capture your lips before you stopped him putting your palm on his mouth. "Wait baby Not so soon. You'll get it tomorrow. Now let me sleep I'm tired." You turned around to lay on the bed. You giggled looking at his face, he was frowning. You took his hand and pulled him. You cuddled closer to him resting your head on his chest. His frown was replaced with a smile and he placed a kiss on your forehead. "I love you Baby" you mumbled before drifting into sleep.

"Where are we going?" "Y/NNN" "Please tell me." You heard your husband's bickering from time to time. "If I tell you now. Will it be surprise? Be patient or you won't get it" you spoke sternly. You drove silently while your husband now sat folding his arms against his chest, pouting. You smiled looking at him. You were surprised at how you convinced your husband to let you drive that too when he had a blind fold on. He was reluctant at first but finally melted after few of your aeygo's.

You parked your car at the side of the garden. You took his hand and carefully took him inside. Though he still managed to stumble on a bench and hissed in pain. "Kim Namjoon you can't be serious! I'm guiding you and still are able to hurt yourself. Idiot!" You scolded him and broke into laughter right after.

You took him to a particular spot and finally went behind him to open the blind fold. He took time to register the surroundings before his face opened in surprise. The place where he proposed to you. The place where you finally became one. This place holds a beautiful  memory and will always remain special to you both. So you decided why not make it more special  by adding yet another most important moment of your life to it. You already imagined you both sitting on the bench while your kids played around here.
  "Y/N this is where-" he turned but froze in his spot when he saw you sitting on one of your knees with a box in your hand. "Are you proposing to me? Oh my god!" His hand went up to his mouth in shock. "We are already married, you Idiot. Just open it." You outstretched your hand and he took the box from your hand. As soon as he opened it, his mouth hung open when he took out the pregnancy test with a cute note saying "Soon to be Dad". The box fell from his hand as he looked at you and nodded smiling "Happy Birthday Baby." You could see tears brimming up in his eyes when he pulled you up and hugged you tight. He lifted you up and twirled you in the air. "This is the best surprise ever. Thank you Y/N. thank you so much. Oh god I love you." He pulled back and showered your face with kisses while you giggled with tears in your eyes.
