"Jihoon, what's the matter?", you leaned down.

He shook his head, still frowning as he walked away. You just arrived at the school to fetch him.

You walked faster and opened the car door for him to enter the car.

You got into your driver's seat and started driving.

"Hoonie, why are you sad?", you looked at him through the rear view mirror.

He didn't answer so you spoke more seriously.

"Tell me, Jihoon-ah."

"My classmate told me that I was an accident child," he said in a barely audible voice.

"Jihoon, you are not an accident," you said softly.

"Then why can't we live with dada?", he spoke louder.

A sigh escaped your lips, "You don't understand right now. You're too young."

"Do you want to go to the park and eat ice cream?", you tried to cheer him up but he only nodded, still frowning.

-

You held his hand as you walked towards the park. Firstly, you bought ice cream in a cone but Jihoon ate emotionlessly.

You really had to do something. He often gets bullied just because you're not in good terms with his dad.

You stood up but still watched him as he sat down on the bench, licking his ice cream.

You dialed his dad's number, which used to be Jagi, but now it's a formal Kim Seokjin.

He always gave you space, even though sometimes, you become way too rough.

"Yeoboseyo," he answered.

"Jin. Can we talk?", you were always either cold or serious when you talked to him. You didn't even know why you were acting like that.

Jin often took him out, but you never wanted to interrupt or join their bonding. Your pride was always too high when it comes to your "family".

You could never accept the fact that he had another child, with someone else.

"Sure. I have to tell you something too," his unusual serious tone surprised you.

"Should we talk it out through the phone or do you want to come where we are?"

"I'll come there, where are you?", he asked while you heard sounds of cars in the background.

"Ilsan Park," you glanced back at Jihoon who was almost finished with his ice cream.

-

You watched the usual scene, your little boy meeting his father. He had brought a toy for him, which made the boy beam in excitement. He let him sit down on the bench as he walked towards you.

"Hey."

"Hey."

You were both always awkward when you talk in person. And just like him, you didn't know why.

"I'll start..", you sighed.

You told him about Jihoon's condition at school and that he's been bullied a lot.

"Ah.. I see. I'll do something."

"Like what?", you raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"You'll see. I'll say mine now," he cleared his throat before speaking again.

"Well.. about Eunwoo—"

"I don't care—"

"Would you let me speak first?", he sighed.

You nodded relucantly.

"Eunwoo. He isn't my child. Eunwoo isn't mine..", he explained, making your jaw drop.

"Oh." It was all you could say.

But it can't change anything, still, he let himself get fooled even though he knew he never got in bed with that liar.

"And.. I.. can we..", he stuttered but a voice interrupted him.

"Dada!"

"Yes, hoonie?", he lifted him up.

"Can you go with me and mommy at family day?", he smiled with hopeful eyes.

"A-ahh no, dad is busy—", you felt uncomfortable at the feeling of being with him. Even the 'family' label. You yourself grew up in an incomplete family.

"It's okay, when is it? I'll come~", he kissed the boy's nose and smiled.

Jihoon looked at you, since he didn't know much about days yet.

"It's on Saturday," you gave off a forced crooked smile.

-

Jihoon was wearing a white shirt with his cute black sweatpants, along with a little snapback sunglasses that he got from his uncle Namjoon.

You also wore the same color of shirt but the only difference was you wore dark jeans instead of sweatpants. You weren't a fan of sweatpants.

Jin offered to drive together to the school, so you were waiting for him at your front door with Jihoon on one hand.

A black car rolled down its windows, revealing Jin wearing a white shirt paired with the same type of snapback.
[uwu imagine jin with his lil boi, i'll only agree if kim jisoo of bp is the eomma hihi jk]

He came out of the car and met Jihoon with a hug. You exchanged half-hearted and awkward smiles as he helped Jihoon climb up to the backseat.

He opened the front passenger's seat and you looked at him in disbelief.

It's not even necessary... It feels so awkward, but you gave in when Jihoon complained. He was way too excited spending a day with a complete family.

Soon enough, you arrived at school. Jihoon was clinged to his dad on the way to the field where the event was being held.

Looking around, it seemed like you and Jin were the youngest parents, considering your early pregnancy. It feels good to be young while being a mother though, at least your age gap with your child wasn't too far so you would most likely understand him.

The first game was for the father and the kid, Jihoon was sitting in the middle of Jin's shoulders with his hands on Jin's head. They were doing a race along with other sets of dad & kid.

"Mommies, cheer the dads!", the host exclaimed and you nervously laughed.

All of the mothers were yelling "yeobo" or either the name of their husband. You felt slightly awkward but you remembered that it was only for today.

"G-go Seokjin-ah! Fighting!"

The game started and they had to go around the cones in the middle. Surprisingly, well not really, Jin was the first to finish. It's probably because of his age and physical stability.

"Okay, now it's mommy's turn!" The host exclaimed and the families did as she said.

Jin handed you the grinning Jihoon, he was smiling from ear to ear and it gave your heart a good feeling to see him like this. You sighed because you couldn't give him this kind of happiness alone. Maybe you did need him.

The game started and you had too jump over a skipping rope five times, before running to your child and then jump over the skipping rope once again before you win.

In this round, you couldn't win since there were athletic mothers versus your weak body.

"Sorry baby," you smiled sheepishly at Jihoon who just smiled back at you.

"It's okay mommy~", he is such an angel, just like Seokjin.

The next game haunted you, you gasped at the instructions. You honestly wanted to quit now.

It was a game only for parents. You and Jin looked at each other in doubt, he looked determined but he still eyed you asking if you wanted to do it.

You glanced at Jihoon who was just too overwhelmed. You didn't want to disappoint so you nodded.

"Position!"

You awkwardly held onto Jin's shoulder as he slipped his arms under your back and knees, carrying you in that so-called bridal style.

"I'm heavy, aren't I?", you awkwardly laughed but he just smiled and shook his head.

"You're still the same, still featherlight like before," he chuckled making your face warm as you looked away.

"Go! Run run run!"

Jin panted as you were halfway through the game.

"And then kiss at the end! No win if you don't kiss!", the host exclaimed, receiving gasps and laughs from everyone.

You nervously bit your lip and looked away, still clung onto Jin.

He continued to go through the obstacles, slipping on the last one but you already reached the finish line. He stumbled, causing him to fall on his back with you on top of him. "Mr. Kim! Kiss!", you heard someone yell.

He pulled your face down and gave you a 3 second peck. You got off him and pulled him up with your hand.

"They win!", the host pointed at you and Jin. You look at each other with childish smiles literally like how you win games back when you were kids.

Jihoon ran to the both of you as the two of you leaned down and hugged.

A few more games and it finally ended. You ended up gaining a silver medal, which you let Jihoon wear.

The next thing you knew, you were sitting on the passenger's seat, eyes closed while Jihoon was also asleep in the backseat.

Jin looked at the both of you in awe. He wanted a complete family just like Jihoon. But you were afraid.

-

You felt someone softly tap on your shoulder. You woke up and found yourself infront your apartment building.

You woke Jihoon up as well as you got out of the car.

"Can we take a picture?", Jin asked and you nodded. He handed you his phone as he carried Jihoon. You stretched your arms out enough for the three of you to be fit in the frame.

You took a few photos before you handed his phone back to him.

"Thank you for today," you bowed.

"No, thank you for letting me.. it's all my pleasure," he smiled. His smile always reminds you of everything you were back then.

"I wish we were always like this..", Jihoon frowned.

Jin kneeled down, "I wish so too.. but mommy.. isn't ready..", he whispered.

"I heard that.. and.. uhh."

They both looked up at you.

"Jihoon," you softly said while you crouched down to his height.

"Your wish is my command~", you cupped his cheeks and pecked his little nose.

Jin was looking at you, surprised at your expression.

"Uhh.. I— I'm ready..", you stood up straight.

"Are you sure? I don't want to rush you or.."

"If it's what makes him happy," you glanced at Jihoon.

"But you should think of your happiness too..", he sighed, worried that you only agreed just because of Jihoon.

"I'm happy with my decision.. to live with you.. and Jihoon of course," you sheepishly smiled.

He pulled your waist closer and kissed your forehead. "I was always ready, so.. here you go," he pulled out a ring from his pocket.

"Wow, did you plan this?", you giggled.

"I always brought this whenever I met you and Jihoonie. I had always waited for you to say yes to us as a family..", he gave the ring to you as you wore it.

"Aaah," Jihoon whined. "When can I sleep?"

Jin picked him up as he rested his head on his broad shoulders.

"Dada, can you spend the night here?", Jihoon sleepily said before yawning.

Jin glanced at you and you nodded.
"Okay, baby," he caressed his back.

"This calls for a sibling," Jin winked but you hit his arm, cringing.

A/N: i swear, people at Seokjin's age would've had kids at 25. but honestly, he's way too handsome and young-looking to be a father. my aunt had a child at that age, even younger actually. i just can't imagine jin with a wife but i can imagine him with a child hihi
