Y/n's Pov:

"You just finished your comeback and a world tour, I know it was serious for a bit, but now it's time for a bit of fun, okay? You've earned it." You smile, relieved that you can finally relax. "But, we're sending you to one more awards show. Just perform a song, it can be a cover if you're tired of performing to your music after the tour, but just perform, so people don't lose interest in you, okay?" You nod, exasperated. You know it's for the best, and heck, what's one more performance before a break?

You get straight to work after the CEO sends you off. You meet up with your dance instructor and start practicing the dance. After that, you head straight to your vocal instructor and work on singing strategies for the song you had chosen. As you work through the lyrics and techniques, you start to get excited about your performance. It's one of your favorite male groups there is and though they've never noticed you, you hope this will be your chance. You heard through the grapevine they'll be attending this award show, it's one of the main reasons you agreed to it in the first place. 

After a full week to prepare for this stage, you finally feel ready as the day approaches. You're in your dressing room getting your makeup done when your manager and best friend walks in smiling. "They're here, Y/n, they're here!" She squeals, excitedly. You smile widely, trying not to bump into your makeup artist. "Really?" You say excitedly, but careful and quiet. She nods, energetically. "They're in the front row, Y/n! They're bound to see you." My heart picks up with adrenaline and nerves surging through my veins. "Especially him," You breathe out. She walks closer, eyes shining with happiness. "Especially him." 

You're makeup artist finally finishes your makeup and emphasizing your pretty (y/h/t) (y/h/c) hair, and you're standing under the stage, ready for your performance. You're practicing your breathing as the people speaking through your in-ear start to count down the time till you go out.

Your platform rises, you smile your sly, beautiful smile as you sing the beginning of Blood, Sweat, and Tears. You dance along to Jimin's parts, singing as you go, your back up dancers filling in for the others. At some point during the song, you decide to finally sneak a glance to their table that you've been so artfully watching from your peripheral vision. There they are, smiling and watching you. That's when you catch his eyes. You and Jimin hold eye contact for only a few seconds, even though to you it feels like forever. What a time to be alive. 

Jimin's Pov:

He watches her with careful eyes. "She's dancing to my parts,"  He thinks to himself. He nudges Jungkook, curiosity taking over him. "Who is she? I've never seen her before.." He says, trailing off at the end, lost in thought. He shrugs, seemingly just as mesmerized as Jimin. "I'm not sure, but she knows who we are," He says, dazed. Jimin looks over to their manager, sitting near them, but not close enough for the cameras to catch him in a shot. "Hyung, do you know who that is?" Their manager nods, smiling. "That's Lee Y/n. She just got done with a comeback and back from a world tour. She's not as big as you guys, but she's getting there." 

"Hyung, set up a meeting with her as soon as possible. I want to meet her." Their manager chuckles at Jimin's dazed form. "You do realize that you all have the stage together to end the award show." Jimin's eyes light up, excitedly. "You're a genius, hyung! Why didn't I think of that?" Yoongi peeks his head around Jungkook and smiles. "Did someone say genius?" He says with a wink. Jimin rolls his eyes. 

"I don't have time for this Hyung," He thinks. "I need to meet her."

Y/n's Pov:

You finish your performance without mistakes. Even you can admit, that was an amazing performance. You run back to your dressing room, changing into the other outfit your stylist had handpicked for the shows ending. An outfit change never hurt anyone and it was one of the many things your fans loved about you, your iconic outfits. As the last award is given away to a well-deserved artist, you all gather on the stage to end the show. You've been placed fairly close to BTS, your favorite group and the talented people you covered today. 

You're quietly dancing and singing to the music being played, waving and smiling to your fans, when you feel a tap on your shoulder. You turn around, surprised and blessed by the presence of a beautiful man from the very group you adore. You're stunned by his presence, that you zone out, speechless, until he speaks, breaking the very spell he held over you.  "Y/n, right?" You positively hum in response. "I just wanted to say that your performance was absolutely amazing and nobody else could've covered my dance part as amazingly as you did." 

A slight blush creeps up your skin as you smile at him. "Well I don't know about that, but it means the world coming from you. I've looked up to you guys for a while. You guys are actually my favorite group and you happen to be my bias member," You say, chuckling and getting shy at the end. He smiles warmly at you. "I'm honored to be your bias," he says, bowing. "As a thank you for supporting us and covering our song, both lyrically and by dance, I'd like to get you lunch sometime and get to know you." I nod, a smile growing as he hands me a napkin from the tables. "It's the only thing I had near me," He says, getting shy and looking down. "It works just fine, and I'd love to take up that offer sometime." You say, putting the cute gesture of a napkin into your clutch bag. 

You guys stay there, talking and laughing, until the show ends, enjoying each others presence and awaiting the future meetings of you two.
