Y/n's Pov:
After a few more seconds of hugging, even though it felt like hours, he pulls away. "I'm going to head to bed, okay Y/n? Thank you again for all of this." I smile, gesturing to the open door. "I'm right next door if you need me." He heads into his room, smiling at me one more time before closing the door. I walk into my room, leaning against my now closed door. Today's been a crazy day and it's made me exhausted. As I drift to sleep, I think of what is to come the following morning.

Knock Knock
I'm grumble awake to someone banging at our door. I grab my phone to check the time. 3 am? Who the hell is knocking on my door at 3 am? I open my bedroom door, agitated that someone is bothering us at this hour. As I step out into the hallway, I see my mom and Jimin already there waiting for me. "Jimin, Y/n, go stay in the kitchen. It could just be some drunk looking for directions or I might need you to call the police. What kind of nut job knocks on a strangers door at 3 am?" She mumbled this last part, I don't think she wanted us to hear it, but we did.
Jimin grabs my hand and pulls me down the stairs, steering away from the windows, and into the kitchen. I hold my phone close, the phone dial already pulled up. My mom goes down the steps, stopping at the front door and taking a deep breath. We're all on edge when she barely cracks the door open. "Daeshim?" I drop my phone, putting my hand to my mouth. "Dad?" I run to the door, opening it wider. As my suspicions are confirmed, I wrap my arms around his neck. He chuckles and hugs me back. He's been abroad on a business trip for 3 months, it feels like forever since I last saw him.
As he sets me down, his eyes catch Jimin's. He frowns. "And who's this? You aren't already having boyfriends spending the night, are you?" My eyes go wide and I wave my hands around dismissively. "He's just a friend who needed a place to stay for the night, nothing to worry about." He nods and gives Jimin a warning look. There must be a mutual understanding between the two because Jimin gives a reassuring look.
An awkward silence falls among us, but thankfully my mom breaks it. "As much as I'd love to catch up now, it's 3 am and it has been a long day for us all. We should all head to bed." I smile, gratefully. "Yes, mom's right. Come on, Jimin." I grab his wrist and pull him upstairs. We both walk into my room, chuckling. It was clear to both of us that neither were tired anymore. I fall onto my bed and he sits in my desk chair. "Don't mind my dad, Jiminie. He's a nice guy, he's just overprotective." He smiles and shrugs. "I'd hope he would be. He's got a lovely wife and daughter to protect." I shake my head and chuckle.
"What're the odds of my dad coming home the same day I bring a boy home." He starts laughing which causes my chuckling to become full laughter. Soon enough, we're both laughing uncontrollably about everything and absolutely nothing. I can't remember the last time I felt this at peace. "I can't either." I frown and look at him. "What?" It's his turn to frown when he hears my question. "You said that you couldn't remember the last time you felt this at peace and I agreed with you." I mentally facepalm and sigh. There's a silence that falls over us, but it's not like downstairs. It's comfortable and nice. It allows my brain to run. I start going over today's events in my head one more time. A certain puzzle piece is missing which arises curiosity. "Hey Jimin?"
"Yeah, Y/n?"
"If your mom had a boyfriend that means your dad isn't around anymore. Where is he? Did you know him?"
He glances up from his hands, which is what he was previously focused on, and frowns. "He cheated on my mom and left with that woman when I was five. For all I know they're still together and happy. I did know him, but he never cared for me. I don't think about him because he isn't worth my energy." I sit up and gesture for him to sit next to me. He smiles and walks over, plopping down beside me. I squeeze him into a hug. "I'm sorry, Jiminie. I wish you had it better." He chuckles and hugs me back. "It's okay, Y/n. I have a feeling my life's going to take a big turn for the better very soon." I shrug. "You think so?" He nods and chuckles. "I absolutely do and I think you're the reason for it."
I lighten the hug, so I can look up at him. "Really? Me?"
He chuckles again and nods. "Yes, you."
I smile and yawn, checking the time. "It's 4 am, Jiminie, we should sleep." He yawns in reply, and gets up, walking to your door. (A/N I yawned writing this smfhh)
He turns back to you before walking out. "Good night, Y/n."
You smile and wave. "Good night, Jiminie."

And that's the final part unless you guys want another one even though I'm not sure how else I could continue this, but I'll try my best if you absolutely want another one.
I hope you guys enjoyed it! I've been working on it for a bit and working through a writer's block, so I'm very happy I got this finished for you all~
