( This is also Lin's words but I tweaked it to match the situation. This probably didn't happen but it's a scenario ~ )

"No one wants us to be singers," said Jin, biting his lip slightly.

"Well, that's sh*t," said Jungkook. "We want us to be singers. That's what counts." He took a step up the staircase to the staff room, his slippered foot silent on the cold stone floor, his formal grey pant leg and tall white stockings blending into the shadows above.

"Jungkook, we were scouted to be in a rap group," hissed Jin, releasing one hand from the notebook of written songs that he held to tug absent-mindedly on a lock of his brown hair, so similar in appearance to his fellow member. "The Lord knows that a singer's life is horrendous. Being judged all the time... It's going to be hard for us to fit in."

"You're pulling on your hair, Jinnie, and you only do that when you're afraid," said Jungkook. "Since when does a pretty boy care about what's hard?"

"Since I turned twenty," Jin snapped. "Look at me! In a few years, I'm to begin looking for a wife! Who would marry a rapper let alone a singer?"

"Only a woman worth having," Jungkook scoffed. "Look at you, indeed. You're afraid of telling PD nim."

"I am not afraid!"

"Are too. Afraid of the fans too, I bet."

"Am not! Am not!"

"Prove it."

Jin took a step forward, then stopped. "You're trying to goad me into coming along with you. I won't be a part of your schemes."

"My schemes?" cried Jungkook. "Yes, indeed, my terrible, horrible, mischievous schemes to create something that could bring a little bit more meaning to this world. How dare I." The younger puffed up his chest. "We're going to change the world Jin. You and me and the rest of Bangtan."

"You only think that because you can actually rap." remarked Jin. In response, Jungkook took another couple of steps up the staircase.

"Jungkook!" Jin snapped. "What on God's green Earth do you think you're doing?"

"What I want with my life, Hyung," Jungkook said. "It appears as though my options are to make myself happy, or to cede control to even my greatest allies, and I hope you don't mind it if I choose my own happiness over your reputation and sensibilities. Now, you can either join me, or hand me that notebook."

"I'm not giving you the notebook," said Jin, pulling it in closer towards his chest. "Jimin and I also wrote this!"

"I know, you idiot," Jungkook said, rolling his eyes. "But I need something to show the staff, to excite them of this whole singing idea. So, again, your options are to come with me or to hand me the damned notebook."

Jin looked down at the notebook. The beat up notebook was filled to the brim with ideas for future songs that the singers would take part in. It was their only chance in convincing the managers and producers to let them do this. For them, for the fans, for the world.

"Fine," said Jin. "I'm coming." He started up the stairs, walking as slowly as he could and as quickly as he dared. A smile spread across Jungkook's face.

"What do you think you're doing?" boomed a very familiar voice from behind Jungkook. He jumped and spun around to see one of the head managers standing there. His eyes were narrow, one eyebrow was raised, and his lips were a thin line cut in the severe angles and corners of his face.

Jin gulped and stuttered, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean- Jungkook made me-"

"I did not!" Jungkook protested. "You came of your own free will!"

"Silence," said the manager softly. Immediately, both boys fell still, except for the soft rustling of Jin's hair through his fingers.

"You were going upstairs to the staff room," said the manager. His voice was still low.

Jungkook nodded and replied, "Don't you dare try and tell us we can't change. I'm doing whatever I want with my life." He fell suddenly silent as their manager's gaze turned to him and tugged at the ruffled collar around his neck. Jin unconsciously straightened his sweat shirt.

"I wasn't going to tell you not to be singers," said the manager. "I just certainly hope that you weren't planning to do so without considering their ideas."

"No," Jungkook said quickly. "Of course not."

A smile spread across their manager's face. "Well then go on up there and change their minds. I won't stop you, I think it's a great idea."

Jungkook opened his mouth to speak, then closed it again as the manager moved on to the stairs.

"But-- but--" Jin stuttered. "But you told us that we had to rap!"

The manager chuckled slightly. "We didn't say you couldn't be singers. No, Jin, I know you. If we tell you not to do something, you will go out of your way to make sure that it is done. This was the only way I could be entirely sure that you would follow your dreams."

"So... you all lied?" asked Jungkook.

"Only slightly," chuckled the manager. "We want you to be successful and do your best in everything. The rest of the world considers us rookies, but we are the only ones who can create the things that make a difference. We wanted to see if you were capable of ensuing your dreams if you first put your mind to it and tell us face to face what you wanted."

"Ha!" cried Jungkook. "I told you, Jin."

"Yes, yes, you're very clever," said Jin, rolling his eyes.

The manager laughed again. Then he said, "Now, if you want to be allowed to change those ideas, follow me."

A few months later, Jin entered the studio where the rest of BTS were. After Jungkook & Jin's confession of becoming singers in the new founded group, the producers and managers agreed and even found another member.

"What?" asked Taehyung.

"Coffee," Jin said. "That new song. Name it Coffee."

"Only if I get the first verse," said Jimin's voice from behind Taehyung. He turned to see the older rounding the top of the staircase.

"Of course," said Jin, smiling.

"Oh, and I want to sing the chorus with TaeTae, " said Jimin. "Yes, perfect."

"I think Jungkook should sing the first verse," scoffed Yoongi. "He's not making extraneous demands."

"That is not fair," Jimin protested.

"Or I could remove all of you and give Jin and Taehyung all the parts," Yoongi said, raising an eyebrow.

Jimin rolled his eyes. "Fine, then. Jungkook goes first, the little cheat."

Jungkook saw Jin's pained expression that was covered up with a hyung smile. Jungkook walked over to Jin and scooped him up into a bear hug.

"You'll get your turn soon Jinnie hyung."

"Ow!" Jin cried. "You're hurting me!"

The rest smiled at the youngest and the oldest's interaction and soon laughed. As the seven of them settled in and began to compose new songs, they began their idol journey.

They eventually realized that both vocals and rappers were needed to change the world and succeed in the kpop industry.

(I hope this made sense ;-;)
