Bulletproof

"Together we are Bulletproof."

1st Place in The Ego Awards 2020

******🍁******

His hands kneaded the clay forming it to create another masterpiece. One that would go forth into the world, displaying its unique beauty. He carefully carved the heart shaped pouty lips and gently smoothed out soft cheeks.

A small smile crept onto his forlorn face as he painted on sweet baby blue eyes. One that he was certain would tell no lies. Next he chose the perfect color hair to go nicely with the porcelain white clay.

"Beautiful..." he breathed, brushing a little blush onto the soft cheeks. Now enveloped in a sea of red fire. He always loved red hair. For it to be on the one who would capture the heart of a man who has remained hidden all these months.

Perfect.

Looking around the quaint little workshop, he found some needle and thread. Going to work on an outfit that would enhance his creations delicate features.

"Will she be what he desires?" Namjoon's cool voice drifted from the shadows in the corner of the room.

"Only time will tell. None of the ones before could capture his heart."

"Did they even survive?"

Jin shrugged, sadness sweeping over him at the loss of his creations.

"Why not find the perfect human?"

"There is no time!" Jin slammed his fists down on the table. Nearly crushing his entire creation. Namjoon walked over to his friend, squeezing his shoulders trying to calm his nerves.

It had been months since their brother had gone into hiding. They needed a way to lure him out, so that they could complete the process of ascension. The other four waited patiently in a never ending slumber, while the oldest were supposed to be preparing the perfect vessel. Alas they couldn't convince Yoongi to stay awake.

So Hobi was the next in line. Which he was all for until he found out what they meant by 'preparing the perfect vessel.'

His question at the time was, "why do we need to ascend?"

The others just stared at him, the dream glow slowly taking over. By that time it was too late to move to the next. It would have been Jimin.

After a month of searching the entire world, they had to branch out to the galaxies. It was said that he was hiding within the ruins of an ancient society.

Hobi is a lover of all things living. He couldn't hurt a fly, so when it came time for our perfect vessel to die. He cried for hours and then fled.

We were to pass through the heart of one who loved us. Each one of us individually. Not as a whole.

Seems like a hard thing to do. We found her though. Actually we found more than one. The problem was they always liked one of us more. We needed it to be equal. A true one hundred percent OT7 Stan.

Y/N found us. We didn't find her. Before the dream glow slumber she spent a month with each member. Each one of us falling for her smile and every little giggle she made. How she lit up a room the second she stepped in a door.

We all loved her. I don't think Hobi quite understood that she wasn't dying but holding us in her heart until we were needed again.

"Namjoon, she is ready." Jin whispered, admiring his work. He was always skillful with his hands no matter what the task was. He literally could create anything.

"Bring her to life..."

Jin nodded, moving from his workbench to a drawer marked elixirs. His nimble fingers carefully popping the cork off from a small vial. A wisp of smoke sighed out from within. The liquid within a dark burgundy.

Carefully he parted the clay lips, pouring the burgundy substance between them. Quickly it soaked into the clay giving it a soft peachy glow. Both boys glanced at each other then back at the clay body on the table.

"Ready?"

Namjoon places both hands on either side of the fire red hair. Taking a deep breath in, then slowly released it. He leaned over his face inches from the clay one. The candlelight casting an eerie glow on his sharp features. Jin swallowed hard, fear pooled in his stomach. They couldn't afford another failure. This clay girl had to be the answer.

~🌸~
Breathe life into the summer fun
Bring back to us our most prized sun
Forgiven by the truths untold
Make warm what was once cold
A sweet melodic voice
With grace, made my choice
Kind Hearted, fire lit beauty
Come forth now and do your duty
~🌸~

The air around them rippled with electricity, a swift crackling sound followed by a huge gust of air that blew out all the candles. Namjoon stood up straight looking at Jin with a worried expression. They waited in the dark silence for any inkling that it had worked.

"Why do you need her? Couldn't I just bring him back?" Y/N asked, confused. Namjoon wrapped an arm around her small shoulders.

"He knows you."

Y/N frowned, understanding slowly forming on her soft face. Namjoon smiled, lighting the candles once more. He was about to light the one on the table when a small hand wrapped around his wrist.

"Where Am I?" A sweet melodic voice questioned.

Jin rushed to the table side. Looking at the clay girl who was gripping Namjoon's wrist tightly.

" You are at what used to be, Big Hit." Jin spoke gently, careful not to startle her.

"Big Hit?"

He smiled a genuine smile.

"Yes..."

"She doesn't know any of that-" Y/N started but Jin quickly shushed her. Y/N narrowed her eyes at him. He made a wait gesture.

The clay girl with her baby blue eyes looked from one boy to the other and then rested on Y/N.

"You are the chosen one."

"She is." Namjoon smiled.

"You are also chosen." Jin started, the clay girls eyes darted towards him.

"Me?" Her childlike voice was adorable. They all couldn't help but swoon over her.

"Yes you, Sweet one."

Jin took one of her hands and held it in his big ones. Looking at her lovingly.

"Your name will be Sunny. We need your help."

"Oh?" She glanced at Y/N, who gave an encouraging smile.

"One of our brothers is hiding on this planet. We need you to bring him back."

A pout formed on her small pink lips.

"Why does he hide?"

"He thinks we are going to hurt Y/N." Jin frowned. Sunny reached out to touch his cheek with her free hand.

"Be happy."

Sunny smiled a breathtaking smile.

"I will bring him to you."

Namjoon shifted on his heels, gazing at Y/N whose eyes met his.

"What do I do?"

Y/N stepped closer to the table.

"Just be his friend."

********🌎********

After what felt like hours, Sunny was finally able to venture out into the ancient world alone. She was a quick study on things. That was great considering she was mere clay before.

"Good luck, Sweet girl." Namjoon called from the shuttle door.

"Remember to press the purple button, when you believe he is ready to come home."

Sunny nodded, adjusting the satchel on her side.

"Aw.. why can't I travel with her. What if she gets hurt?"
Y/N begged. She felt like a mother to Sunny. Taught her how to walk and everything. Even how to wing her eyeliner.

"If she doesn't succeed... we will create one more. If not... then we will die out like the rest." Jin sighed.

Y/N couldn't accept that. Yes Earth was falling apart. All the entertainers had all vanished. The only ones that remained were that of BTS. That was because Armies refused to let the world destroy the seven beautiful boys who taught them how to love themselves and to be kind to others.

Once again they placed their hope on clay. This one is the third one... the last.

The hourglass' sands moved faster each day. They had only a few more weeks before they would fade into the wind like dandelions. Except there would be no wish.

Why couldn't he see, they weren't trying to kill me?

********🌸********

Sunny walked into the crowded village street, everyone there stopped to stare at her as she passed by. It made her uncomfortable. These people were strange compared to the Namjoon and the others on the shuttle. These ones all looked the same. Only thing that made them stand out was the way they wore their hair. Everyone was simple. Black hair, black longing eyes, and slumped over bodies in a state of constant depression.

"Can I help you miss?" A man much taller than herself asked Sunny. She stared up into the sunken eye sockets and cringed.

He seemed nice enough but his features alone terrified her, so she thanked him for his kind gesture and hurried off deeper into the busy street. The smell of fish and fresh bread wafted through the air. A strange mixture with the musty rain smell.

"Does it every stop raining?" It was painful to her skin. She was made from clay, so whatever skin was exposed was now riddled with red splotches.

"Here..." a kind elderly woman with a white streak of hair in her midnight hair handed her a grey poncho.

"This should help... don't want you to melt." She winked at her then disappeared amongst the sea of sad faced people. Sunny wasn't even able to thank her.

Quickly she donned the cover. Her skin, thankful for the shelter from the pelting water.

"These people seem so nice... why are they so sad?"

Sunny looked everywhere for someone who resembled what Namjoon had described. No matter where she looked she didn't see a smiling face anywhere. Not even light brown hair. The only person who seemed to have different colored hair was herself.

After hours surfing the wave of people in search of a person who may not even be here, she found shelter within an Inn. To get out of the wet atmosphere, to get warm and eat something.

"Hello Miss.." the innkeeper murmured pulling out a dusty book.

"New comers are allowed to stay one night free after that it's a herring."

Sunny didn't know what a herring was. Some things they weren't able to teach her such a short time.

"What's a herring?"

The Innkeeper narrowed her dark eyes at her.

"I don't like games little miss." She snarled.

Sunny put up her hands. "Oh no ma'am... I truly don't understand. What is a herring?"

"It's a fish!"

Deciding not to press the woman any further she just nodded that she knew what she meant.

"Good... now if you will sign here." The innkeeper pointed with a hand that was long taken over by arthritis.

Sunny stared blankly at the page. There were markings all over the page that she didn't understand yet again. If she could cry she would have. The old lady grew frustrated.

"Child, I don't have time. I am very busy. Sign and then take your room. Or leave!"

So she picked up the feather like thing and drug it across the paper in swirls not making any sense. Then sat it back down.

The Innkeeper blanched at the page. She mumbled under her breath pointing once more to a door on the left.

"Go before I change my mind."

"Thank you." Sunny bowed, scurrying off toward the door covered in dirt and grime. There was a young girl on her knees just to the side of it, scrubbing the walls, her eyes were gray, looking straight ahead as she worked.

Why were her eyes different? Sunny waved to her before she disappeared behind the door. Only to feel hurt when the girl didn't reciprocate the gesture.

It smelled of a sweet calming herb. One that was described to her she just couldn't recall. Sunny was exhausted from the rain and all the people pushing to get to where they were going.

Slowly she removed the poncho draping it on the only wooden chair in the room. Her hands were red from getting soaked by the water. They hurt so bad. Her nail beds were missing the nails. Jin had warned her about the water. She tried so hard not to get wet.

Hanging up her wet clothes in front of the furnace she crawled into the tiny four poster bed.

Where are you? She thought as she drifted off into a dreamless sleep.

********🦋********

"Do you think she's okay down there?" Y/N asked, staring out the bay window of the ship. Namjoon stood beside her deep in thought. If Sunny didn't make it. Was that it for them?

"We can only hope... he whispered.

*********🌸*********

Sunny woke to the sound of someone lightly tapping on her door. Quickly she dressed, moving to open the door.

"Miss... your time is up." The girl with the gray eyes spoke kindly. Sunny nodded that she understood. But the girl didn't move or acknowledge her.

"Miss... your time is up."

"Okay."

The girl smiled briefly, turned with her fingertips against the wall and made her way toward the table a few feet away. Where she sat down to eat.

How strange... Sunny thought walking up to the counter where the innkeeper was frowning.

"Thank you."

"Mhmm..."

This woman wasn't friendly at all. Not spending another moment in the inn she ventured out into the crowded street.

*******🌸******

Several days passed by. Somehow she always managed to bring a herring to the innkeeper. The lady from the first day who gave her the poncho also gave her the herrings. Somehow Sunny never managed to get her name.

Peculiar really.

This place is so tiring... even the tips of my hair are turning black. Walking along at the steady pace of a stranger her eyes searched every face.

When she saw him. Except he wasn't smiling, he was begging.

Hobi? His dark brown hair slick with rain, a bright green jacket with different stripes of color on it, with cut out jeans. They seemed a bit tattered now. Put you could definitely tell he wasn't of this world. Or perhaps just this sullen village.

Thatcher the baker was giving him a hard time about the leaves in his hands. You'd think since he'd been here so long he would know that fish was the only proper trade here. Even Thatcher's bread was no good with a herring for trade.

She didn't have a herring for him, but Thatcher always shared his bread with her in the days she had arrived.

"Excuse me."

********🌞********

"Look,I just need a little bread.." Hobi pleaded with the merchant holding out the won that meant nothing on the planet. The merchant scoffed, swatting his hand away.

"I don't want your colorful leaves!" He spat at him. Hobi groaned, watching as the won fell to the muddy ground. This place never stopped raining and it was always cold. The people here, grumpy disgruntled fisherman. If they weren't fishermen, they made bread. The rest were homemakers.

Hobi didn't fit in here. He missed his brothers and Y/N. He couldn't get back. The rainwater had soaked into his teleport button. So he remained lost, scavenging for food and a warm place to rest his head.

Giving up on getting bread from Thatcher. He wandered off into the dreary woods in search of some edible roots. It's a good thing he paid attention when Jin was teaching herbology to Jungkook, or else he probably would have starved to death by now.

"Excuse me?" A childlike voice spoke. Hobi turned to see a girl with bright red hair talking to Thatcher.

Thatcher was bewitched by her beauty and happily handed over two loaves of bread without payment. Not even a smart remark. The girl thanked him, her eyes that of a radiant blue searched the crowd for something or someone. He walked closer to the edge of the woods no longer hungry. Wel he was still hungry but he was more curious about the new girl. He had never seen her around before.

She wasn't part of the village, her looks were of another world. Earth if you will. Excitement rose in his chest. She could be a traveler! He could get back home to his brothers.

Hobi ran back into the now overly crowded street. People were gawking at the girl as she stood looking around. A fisherman stood timidly beside her getting ready to speak. That was Hobi's que that he needed to act fast.

Hastily he made his way through the wave of curious villagers to take the girls hand.

"There you are!" He acted relieved and in some ways he was. She looked at him confused.

"Who-"

"Oh don't play dumb!" He swatted at her. The villagers were getting agitated by his little act. So he needed to think fast.

"I'm not, Hobi." She gave him a stern look that took him aback. How did she know his name?

All the villagers looked shocked when she said his name. Their sorrowful eyes pooling with fresh tears. It was as if they were wanting to keep her for their own and he had stolen their precious fiery gem.

"Who are you?" Hobi whispered to Sunny as they walked towards the woods.

"Sunny."

"I wish it was sunny here... I haven't seen the sun in months. It's pretty depressing."

"Just a little bit."

Hobo stared at the girl with the fire looking hair. Her baby blue eyes reflected the greens of the trees in beautiful topaz color.

"Your eyes show the world in exquisite color."

Sunny smiled at Hobi who returned a dazzling smile.

"Where did you come from?" He asked helping her step over a fallen tree it's roots upturned with little badgers peeking out from them.

"A shuttle in the sky."

Hobi looked up to the three moons in the sky covered my storm clouds that dulled the scenery. He couldn't see past that view.

"Why here?" He asked curiously.

"I'm searching for someone."

"Oh?"

"Yes... a friend to take away my loneliness." These were the exact words Jin her creator had told her to say when asked.

"I see... Anyone in particular?"

Sunny shook her head. The water was starting to burn her bare hands once more. Another nail disappearing from the burning water. A little more of her hair was starting to turn black.

"Are you okay?"

Hobi asked, noticing her discomfort as she tucked her hands under her armpits.

"It's cold..."

"We are almost there..." he pointed just ahead to a shuttle sticking out the side of a mountain. It wasn't his most graceful landing. However he was certain he did a better job that Namjoon could have. Poor guy never got his license and refused to get a pilots badge for the same reason.

********🚀*******

Inside the shuttle, piles of different roots riddled the dashboard. He had turned it into his own little home away from the little village. The only thing that reminded Hobi of Earth and his brothers. There was a picture of all seven of them together. Happy, standing in front of a stadium full of their greatest fans.

That's when the virus swept the world. All concerts had been cancelled. They had to settle for live streams in a room with no human interaction. The use of masks and daily sanitation of work stations. Many left unemployed. It's a wonder if anyone is left.

After years of devastation, finally they took to the stars. That was their best bet. Until they needed to find someone to keep their memory safe.

Meaning take them all into their heart equally and hold them until the time was right. So that they could bring about a revolution.

Hobi watched as Sunny moved about in the cabin. She stopped in front of the picture, a small smile forming on her face.

"Who are these people?"

Jin's voice resounded in her head. If you see a picture of us... ask who we are.

She hated that she had to play this game with him. She wanted to just tell him. But she was good. Sunny would always do as she was told.

Hobi smiled, pointing to each member of BTS.

"This is Jin."

Her creator, she knew him well.

"This is Namjoon."

He was kind to her. Always inquisitive.

"This is Yoongi."

She didn't meet him.

"Jungkook."

"Jimin."

"Taehyung."

Sunny didn't know the last four. She had seen them in their slumber but she didn't get to speak with them. If only there was time. She knew that she would adore them all.

Somehow Sunny already did.

"They all seem so happy... except that one... he seems so angry."

"Ah... Taehyung. He's really nice. Just can't smile sometimes."

"Oh."

"Are you hungry?" Hobi asked unsure if he had anything other than yuca root to give her.

"I have bread and a herring." She pulled out a fish from her bag and two loaves of bread. Hobi's mouth began to water. He refused to ask for some unless she offered it.

Which she did. Holding out the food with her small red hands.

How strange... some of her fingernails were gone.

"What happened to your hands?" He asked, taking the bread and fish, setting them down next to the pile of yuca.

Quickly she hid her hands under her poncho, staring at an extension cord on the floor.

"I'm sorry..." he murmured apologetically. Finding a knife in one of the drawers near the small bed cubby, he began to slice the bread. Quietly he hummed the song I'm fine. All the while Sunny watched his every move. His posture was good, the way his hands moved gracefully as he cut the bread. His beautiful tone as he hummed a melody she had never heard.

He made her feel...

Happy.

"You are like Sunshine and hope." Sunny smiled. Hobi turned around holding out two little trays of bread and fish. He had steamed the fish in the cooker. Hobi was so very thankful it still worked.

"I'm your hope... You're my hope. I'm J-Hope."

Taking a seat in the cockpit chair, he gestured towards the co-pilot seat. Sunny sat down after removing her poncho and jacket, still watching him as she took a bite of bread.

"What does that mean?"

"That's what Army knows me as. Or at least what my stage name is. You can just call me Hobi though."

"Army?"

"That is what we called our fans."

"Oh..."

Hobi are his food like a starving dog. Shoveling slice after slice of bread and then chunks of fish one right after the other. Then fell back in the chair patting his stomach. Sunny giggled, taking a small bite of bread glancing out the window. The rain grew heavier. Wind was picking up, howling like a wolf at the moon.

"Why are you here?" Sunny questioned, turning to look back at a super relaxed Hobi.

"I made a mistake... by the time I realized it, though. My one means of getting back was destroyed." Hobi reached into his pocket holding up a little black box with a purple button on it.

"I've tried to fix it... I'm not as good with my hands like Jin."

"Where is home?"

"The Van061313 in Nebula 5... I'm not sure if they are still in Nebula 5. But that's the last place I remember."

"Perhaps one day you'll be able to return."

"I hope so."

"I know you will."

Hobi looked at her. She was smiling brightly, a warmth started in his chest. One that had been missing since he arrived. When he looked into her bright baby blue eyes. He knew that she was telling the truth. For that. He wanted to stay with her always.

"I believe you."

Sunny sat quietly. Hobi drifted off into a soundly sleep. Her task was to get him back to Jin. That now seemed so much easier. A good night's rest would do her good and then tomorrow. Tomorrow they will go home to Jin.

******🎆******

"No no no...."

Sunny woke to Hobi running about panicking. Something kept banging against the sides of the shuttle.

"What's going on?" Sunny sat up looking out the window. Hundreds of villagers surrounded the shuttle holding rocks and sticks. They were throwing them with angry expressions on their faces.

"They think I kidnapped you!" He yelled over the sounds of the rocks and screaming of the villagers.

Sunny thought for a second. All she had to do was step outside and tell them Hobi didn't kidnap her. It was simple.

"It's okay." She gave him a reassuring smile before she stepped out into the rain.

Pain erupted all over her skin. The water like hot bullets piercing her porcelain clay skin. She had a mission that she couldn't lose so with every ounce of strength she had. She spoke her truth.

"I was not kidnapped, I came here in search of hope and I found it. Go now leave in peace—-"

Sunny's knees grew weak, she felt herself falling forward. Only to be caught by strong lean arms. When she looked up, Hobi was staring at her, fear laced with worry spread across his handsome face.

"Sunny!" Hobi ran back inside, laying her down in the cubby. She looked like she was going to fall apart. Red splotches covered her skin. In some spots it looked like bullet holes, but no blood seeped through.

Hobi raked his fingers through his hair searching for some way to make it right. When a soft knock came from the shuttle door.

"Go Away!" He cried out, his fear sounding with each syllable.

"I can help." A scratchy voice called from behind. Hobi immediately slammed the door back. He was unsure of what to do. But this lady offered help. Quickly she hobbled past him.

"Why did you let her out without protection?" The old lady asked accusingly.

"Protection?"

Her dark eyes searched his soft brown ones. She sucked in air.

"She cannot be touched by water."

Hobi was confused.

"What? Why?"

"It will kill her. She is nearly dead as we speak."

"Who are you? How do you know so much about her?"

"I am Mildred. I know a Clay Master's creation when I see one."

"A what?"

"I don't have time to explain right now. Help me save this poor creature."

Hobi kneeled beside Sunny, taking her small hand into his. He wasn't sure what he could do. But he would sit with her while the old lady Mildred worked to save her.

Mildred pulled different roots and various powders from her bag on her side. Making irritated sounds when a white strand of hair would fall in her face.

"Pesky thing!" She hissed. Hobi watched as it moved itself behind her ear without her touching it. She must be a witch.

"Correct term is elemental. Mind your thoughts boy with love."

Hobi looked shocked at the lady, then gazed at Sunny. Her eyes were closed and her hair was slowly turning black. The fire was dying within her heart.

*****🌸*****
Precious fiery gem within the night
Look towards hope in the morning light
Hold on to the new feeling within you
For you are the keeper of seven
The purest of vessels a heart so true
The sands are wasting, you have until eleven
******🌸******

As quickly as her hair began to turn black, the fiery red returned. The tips remained black, but the holes filled leaving tiny brown spots like freckles upon her porcelain clay skin. Sunny gasped for air, while Hobi shed happy tears.

Mildred smiled at Hobi. His thoughts were that of pure happiness. She knew this clay child was in good hands. Mildred also knew that she would have to have a word with her apprentice on his carelessness of sending her here. The planet that cries forever.

"Are you going to explain?" Hobi asked Mildred who was fighting with the white strand of hair. She stopped to look at him. Only to be whipped in the eye.

"You'll pay for that." She hissed.

"Are you talking to your hair?"

Sunny sat up slowly looking at Mildred. Hobi was staring at her like she grew three heads.

"It's not hair... it's a sprite..."

"I love sprite!" He danced happily.

"Not the bubbly beverage from earth, child."

"Oh..." Hobi looked at his feet disappointed.

"All Elementals have one.."

She smacked at the white strand once more until it tucked itself away.

"Anyways... Sunny is born of clay. She was created with a great purpose." Mildred began, her expression changed to that of a mother when looking at Sunny.

"Clay children are pure of heart and will do as they are told. So long as you don't mistreat them or leave them to die in water. They can be life long companions."

Hobi's eyes drifted to Sunny. Nothing about her looked like clay. When he held her hand it was soft. It didn't feel grainy. Was it an illusion?

Either way he didn't care.

"Hobi..." Sunny's blue eyes looked deep into his own.

"You can go home."

"What?" He was confused again. Until she reached into her satchel pulling out a tiny black box with the same purple button as his own. He was elated.

Joy overtook him as he swept Sunny off her feet in a hug, spinning around happily. Mildred laughed.

"Goodbye sweet children of Earth and Clay." She whispered before leaving. Carefully, Hobi put Sunny's feet back on the floor. A stunning smile on his face.

"Ready?"

She nodded, smiling happily.

*****💜*****

Namjoon sat rubbing his face, staring at the hourglass. The sands of time were dwindling. While all their hope rested on small clay shoulders.

A loud pop sounded in the Bay Area. He could hear Y/N screaming, running to see what the matter was. He saw both Sunny and Hobi standing in the middle of the room with his arm around her shoulders. He had the biggest smile on his face.

Jin ran into the back of Namjoon.

"Oof..." he groaned, trying to balance himself on the tall man.

"Our hope is back." Namjoon smiled. Y/N was cheering like the fan girl she is and Jin was a blubbering crying mess. Hobi ran over hugging all of them. Sunny just stood back smiling happily. She had done what her master had created her for.

She was expecting to fade away. However she remained whole. Sunny looked over at Jin confused.

"You serve a greater purpose it would seem."

Mildred... lady Mildred had said something like that as well.

"Hobi we have to ascend."

"I know... I'm sorry, I tried to come back. But that world soaked my teleport button and I got stuck."

Both boys chuckled.

"Let's go wake the others."

Sunny followed closely behind Jin. Who glanced back at her then over at Hobi who was chatting away with Y/N. Sunny was not bothered nor was she jealous of Y/N's interaction.

"Namjoon...the perfect vessel is Sunny."

Namjoon looked back at Sunny who was just smiling, walking behind them.

"Are you sure? What about Y/N?"

Jin sighed, "they both are. But we need an army to protect the seven until we are ready. Y/N can protect Sunny."

Hobi's head snapped in their direction.

"What?"

"It's been decided. "

"Sunny will be the vessel."

Jin smiled back at the clay girl who played with the ends of her sleeves.

"I am honored."

Hobi looked back at Y/N. Who looked liked she wanted to cry.

"I thought Y/N—-"

"She is the protector."

The look of disappointment faded, replaced with a new found eagerness. She soon fell into step next to Sunny taking her hand.

Sunny smiled.

"I am happy to accept the mission."

All three boys smiled at the two girls. It was time to go.

Namjoon pressed the release capsule. A vacuum sucking the air into each closed box.

All four boys climbed out stretching their sleepy arms, yawning.

"You sure I can't sleep longer?" Yoongi asked.

Every one just chuckled.

Taehyung wrapped an arm around Y/N.

"It's time."

She just smiled at him.

They all walked down a small corridor into a room dimly lit. In the middle was a bright glowing light. Jin showed Sunny where she needed to go as each member took their place surrounding the light. Sunny stepped into the center.

"Oh it's warm." She giggled. All seven boys smiled and the one girl who represented all of Army.

Y/N stood in the doorway smiling at the seven boys who had changed her life for the better. She prayed that she would one day see them again.

Slowly they began to sing their song.

The last words resounding in her mind.

"We are not seven, with you."

When the light faded away back to the center of the room. All the boys were gone. They were safely tucked away in the heart of Sunny.

"Together we are bulletproof." Y/N whispered, taking Sunny's hand. Ready for anything.
