My eyes snapped open as I heard a car horn pierce through the night air. Headlights blinded me as the driver of the car swerved past me, spitting out curses at me.

I was too caught up in the shock of what was happening, helpless as I stood, watching the car drive away.

When my surroundings were quiet again, the sound of the piano had grown faint until it finally stopped.
Why did he stop playing?
And more importantly, who was the pianist?
