I'd stopped counting the days I'd been in this hospital.
When I'd still had hope that I could leave, I'd counted the days down until my discharge, but not this time around.

Outside my hospital room's window I saw people walking around on the soft green grass underneath the trees in the distance. Some people wore uniforms, but it wasn't significant anymore...
Because of my medication, everything was a blur most of the time.

Roughly, I guessed, there was one month left until my discharge.

Besides that 'one month fact', today was a special day for another reason entirely.

Today, I will lie for the first time.
I have it all planned out to the smallest detail.

I will look into the doctor's eyes with empty eyes as he asked me his question, which he repeated daily.

"Do you remember anything, Jimin-ah?"

"I don't remember anything..."
Today...I lied for the first time.
