(Seventeen) Mingyu x Kira

Kirngyu:

Kira met Mingyu during the Daesang Awards, and they instantly clicked. From their bubbly personalities to stunning looks, it was easy to see why many fans shipped these two together; they were seen as K-pop's 'Power Couple'. Kira once said that if she could pick and member of Seventeen to go on vacation with to a rural area, she would pick Mingyu because she knew he would, and I quote, 'Just live in the moment and relax in the sun' with her. 

To say that Mingyu loved Kira like she was one of his own would be an understatement. To Seventeen, she was their little crazy maknae, but to Mingyu, she was like a 'butterfly', as he called her, for she was always there to make the world look more stunning. 

(Twice) Jihyo x Kira

Jihra:

When asked in an interview, Jihyo described her feelings for Kira as the feeling of flowers blooming in the Spring. They were deep, loving, vibrant, and fresh. To Jihyo, Kira was nothing if not her rock; through the good times and the bad. They had met during Twice Debut show, where Kira had come to watch them perform, her close friend Chan at the time telling her about how amazing they were. 

Kira said 'after watching them perform, I was quite honestly in shock at how amazing she was. I went backstage and told her, only to find out that her personality on stage wasn't nearly as amazing as her personality offstage. She really made being friends with her feel so natural!' Once Jihyo heard that, she had never stopped admiring the girl and their friendship grew even stronger.

(Straykids) Hyunjin x Kira

Hyunira:

Kira and Hyunjin have been friends for as long as she could remember. Having met during one of Straykids' performances she had attended, they had instantly felt an attraction. Kira was a strong, stunning young woman, and Hyunjin was one of the most gorgeous men in the KPOP industry, so clearly people thought they looked good together. 

This picture was taken after Hyunjin came to see Kira when she performed her first solo album; obviously, he came baring a shit ton of gifts for the younger girl, a huge smile plastered on his chiseled face. Kira describes their relationship as 'two halves of a whole'. She said how 'From the moment we met, it felt as though we shared a soul. It was like I could tell how he felt just by looking into his eyes. It was the most comforting yet strangest feeling ever'. 

Hyunjin, on the other hand, described his love for the girl as how you would love a piece of art. "It's that crazy, unrealistic love for something or someone that you can't explain, but you just know you love it. Like how you know you love a piece of art, but you can't explain why".

(Le Sarafim) Yunjin x Kira

Kirjin:

Yunjin had admired her unnie since day one. Kira had been the most supporting, kind, and perfect role model for those girls. To Yunjin, she wishes to be like her Unnie when she grows up. "Unnie is someone who knows exactly what to say or do; whenever it gets too much or I am at my lowest, I know I can turn to her and she will lend me her advice, shoulder to cry on, or her arms to feel safe in." 

Kira looks at Yunjin and sees herself. "When I was young, I was almost exactly like Yunjin. Wild, free, powerful, and determined. I want her to never forget that and to keep going through life like she does now; not succumbing to pressure like I did. So I will protect that passion for as long as I can."

(Enhypen) Heesung x Kira

Kireesung:

Heesung admitted in an interview that he had a huge crush on Kira during his debut. Hell, even now, she is his ideal type. "Kira Noona is just- she's so pretty! She's so so so funny and smart and- did I mention she's literally angelic-looking? Noona if you're watching please know that you are so amazing!" His members tease him for his obvious crush on the older girl, but he doesn't care because to him, if you don't like Kira, then who the hell are you?

Kira loves how sweet, soft, and kind Heesung is. She feels that he is sometimes overlooked and underappreciated, and it reminds her of her own Namjoon Oppa. "People sometimes forget how hard it is to be a leader, especially when you're thrown into the role at such a young age. Heesung reminds me of Namjoon Oppa, because despite all the hurdles in their way, they make it through with a smile on their face. I never want Heesung-ah to struggle the way Oppa did, because he deserves better; they all do". Let's just say that to Kira, Heesung is the perfect leader for Enhypen. 

(ITZY) Yeji x Kira 

Yejira:

Yeji has publically admitted that Kira is her ideal type. No shame. During their interview with Jessi, she was asked if she could pick one idol to be in a dating scandal with, who would it be? She replied "Well, no doubt I would pick Kira unnie. I mean, from her good looks to amazing skills and brilliant mind, if anyone thought we were together, I would feel honored, to be honest," and then proceeded to gush over the girl for the next 5 minutes. Fans from both groups blew up this clip, coming up with ship names and whatnot. 

Kira looks at that moment fondly, saying how "I was flattered, to be frank, I mean, Yeji-ah is such an amazing person and performer, and for her to say she likes and admires me, is such a huge compliment!" She giggled, continuing on during her V-Live, saying how amazing the young girl was and how she would love to hang out with her soon. 

Her wishes soon came true when they were paired together to do a duet for an award show. After that, they were inseparable. known as the 'duality girls' for their amazing switch in facial expressions and behavior on and off stage.
