Being with Ranpo can be both entertaining and draining. Sometimes it feels like you have the greatest man of all times, other times it feels like you're looking after a child.

Regardless, each day was one full of surprises and laughter.

However, being a female is a curse in itself - not only are there annoying people around, talking as if they knew better, but mother nature oh so gracefully "blessed" you with monthly misery.

It's alright, it's just another one of those days you need to get through...

... except ...

You haven't gotten out of bed, really bad cramps tying you down to it. You were telling yourself you'd "get up soon", but you never did and now the pain got worse, getting the better of you; Something no man can imagine, as if someone was stabbing you uncontrollably, punching you and - although it sounds over the limits - as if someone was using a hydraulic concrete breaker machine mercilessly on you.

That's how painful it was. And yet...

Ranpo had gone off somewhere - complaining how his snacks weren't there yet - leaving you to deal with your war on your own. You thought he left you to buy himself snacks. You thought he didn't know, didn't notice. 

But in reality, there's nothing you can hide from the greatest detective.

After some time -

"Surprise!"

- he finally reappeared, surprising you in the moment.

"Guess what I got!"

"Snacks?", you reply, a bit tired of all this. You knew he loves them, so he probably went to buy them himself this time.

"Yup! I got your favorites!", he responds cheerily to that, placing them all onto the bed beside you.

You looked up at him in confusion. Favorites? Yours?

As he was laying them all onto the bed, he pouts slightly.

"You know, I'm a bit annoyed I can't eat them just myself."

"Huh? Why not?", you ask, confused about his complaint.

"Well, these are for you, muffin!", he explains. "I can't have you do something and waste energy in this state - what you need right now is rest, food and some good anti-period-pain plan!"

A soft pink hue appeared on your cheeks. So he actually noticed...

He laughs at your cute reaction. "Of course I noticed! Now, stay here, muffin, I'll go grab a hot water bottle and some painkillers, ok?"

He didn't even wait properly for a response and was already gone, busy getting those two things. You glance at all the sweets he got for you - sheesh, he truly got a lot! You couldn't help the sudden cravings and and some already found their way into your mouth, being munched on.

Not too long after, Ranpo came back with the hot water bottle and the painkillers. You weren't expecting this at all, but you didn't complain. Why even?

The rest of the day was just spent cuddling, watching some series, snacking and taking care of you.

You couldn't help but smile to yourself. Being with the world's greatest detective sure has its perks!
