Reader couldn't accept Dazai's death, she kept running away from reality. She knew that if she returned to Yokohama, she would never be able to escape Yokohama, the place where Dazai lived. She wished that she never needed him, but now he became something inseparable from her. She lost hope, but Dazai's words kept moving her. She fought back the people who chased her, and won but she ended up with a huge wound and died. She opened her eyes and met Dazai again. In the end, Dazai was her remedy.
