I woke up my alarm buzzing off like some mad thing.I pressed the snooze button.It was a Saturday i needed my rest. Then my phone buzzed.Wow you sure don't want me to enjoy me sleeping i sighed and check my notification .It was a text message from my best friend Henry .

Henry: Yo,my man i am throwing a party today wanna come it will be lit.I am sure you will meet tons of cute girls

i rolled my eyes.Henry was always urging me to get a girlfriend but be honst after my other girlfriend broke up with me 4 years ago i wasn't intrested in girls.But Henry 's Party are lit and it just be rude not to go. i text back

Noah:Yo, yeah sure will be there.but not for ladies just to enjoy myself.

i blinked blankly a few times to see if he will respond bur he didn't .HE eventually he replies

Henry:Well you will be intrested when i say a girl asked about you and wants your number.she thinks your hot.

i blushed i was actually getting fluttered but maybe Henry is lying to make sure i come.I mean he wants me to be with a girl but he isn't lucky himself .i remember the last time he persuaded me to ask a girl a stupid question 

FLASHBACK

"Look,are you a chicken or what" i joked.We were in the pub place drinking.

"No i am not. i bet you couldn't get a girl right now," Henry said.

Yeah,right.To be honest, we all now i am the better looking one with the looks and things .Duh! Henry it will hard looking for the right girl ,"

Henry frowned at me.Yeah i was being pretty rude and selfish but it was so he would shut the hell up and what going on about it.

"Well...i dare you to go up to that girl and ask her to marry you,".I froze in shock .

"Henry are you being for real? there is no way i can do that " i said.Henry just shrugged and said."Oh your such a chicken ,Noah" he laughed and started flapping like a scared chicken.I scowled at him"I 'm not a chicken," i spluttered  ."Right,then go on do it," he peer pressured me.I really didn't like what he was doing like he wouldn't like it if i did it myself to him but i didn't want him to see me as a coward or scaredy-cat and that nonsense but i was brave."Okay i will,"i said walking up to the girl. I tapped her shoulder and she turned around annoyed looking 

Noah: Um...H-hey i am Noah and you are ?

Girl: Amelia so what brings you here 

Noah gulps .

Noah: So are you a teenage lets say 19 

Amelia: (raises eyebrow) yeahhh what do you want?

water escaped my body as i became sweaty .

Amelia:You okay?

Noah: Yeah Yeah just really hot 

Amelia:o..k...

Noah:Um...

Amelia:Look i don't have time for this  and your little game i need to be with my friends.

Noah: Well...I-I...

Amelia:you...you...

Noah:well...

Amelia: (rolls eyes) i better be leaving 

she goes and i grab her wrist.she was hocked and i said."Will you marry me?" i said going the colour of tomato . 

Amelia:What! 

she went red too and  thought she will say Yes so i leaned in and ... She slapped me ...a big one that stank for an hour . The whole pub shrieked with laughter so did Henry who was just a big idiot.i felt so ashamed. 

End of flashback

I never spoke to Henry in a month he sent me an apology letter and we became friends again .Now this party i hope  he same things doesn't happen again.
