Izuku thought about it for a moment. If he could spend every day with Mako, he would take that chance. He had no one else anymore. In every possible future, it was him and Mako. Mako and Izuku. They were one person. One future.

A boy wasn't god. A boy couldn't tempt fate the way Izuku Midoriya had. But he wasn't god. He was cursed with the fate of an immortal beast. He couldn't do much to protect the people he loved, which was someone any god could do.
