Hannah looked down at Adam, her heart feeling as though it was going to explode out of her chest, "You sure?" She asked, one of her hands ghosting over the buttons of his shirt.

Adam nodded, running his tongue over his bottom lip as he rested his hand on the zip at the back of the dress she was wearing, his own heart beating just as fast, "With you, always."

Hannah chuckled, slowly unbuttoning his shirt, "You really have a way with words."

"Well, they make you blush a lot." Adam shrugged with a smile.

Hannah raised an eyebrow with a crooked grin, "You noticed that, huh?"

"You're pretty pale." Adam nodded, making Hannah let out a laugh as they worked together to take off his shirt.

"Oh, you were right," Elodie said as she and Hannah exited the basement, the brunette staying over for a few days, "It is weird with no windows."

Hannah rolled her eyes with a laugh as she opened the backdoor to the house, "I'm always right."

"You guys got work today?" Fiona asked, noticing the two were in their diner uniforms.

"Kicking in for the squirrel fund." Hannah nodded.

Elodie raised an eyebrow, pointing at the baby next to Frank, "What's Hymie doing here?"

"I'm baby-sitting." Frank told them.

"Oh, is Sheila popping pills again?" Ian smirked.

Frank rolled his eyes, "Sheila happens to think very highly of my ability to raise bright, independent children."

"You're not leaving Hymie here, Frank," Fiona told him with a stern look, "Debbie can't take care of a special needs kid on top of day care."

"Challenges foster growth," Frank exclaimed, "You can't prevent Debbie from an opportunity to grow."

Hannah rolled her eyes, hitting her father up the back of his head, "Not happening." She said, before she and Elodie moved to get some coffee.

"Carl, what are you doing?" Fiona asked, the boy taking a pair of scissors to bedsheets.

Carl shrugged, "Making a sleeping bag."

"These are Lip's sheets." Fiona groaned, taking them off of him.

"Not anymore."

"All right, take my ROTC sleeping bag, huh?" Ian suggested.

"Really?"

"Yeah," Ian nodded, going up the stairs, "I'll grab it from upstairs."

"Why couldn't you win a raffle for camp when I was little, Frank?" Fiona asked.

"Fortune dispenses randomly." Frank shrugged.

"I hated camp." Jimmy said.

"Don't listen to Jamie, Carl." Frank said.

"Jimmy." The man himself corrected.

"Alright, Asswipe, Ellie and I are heading out, so I'll see you in a week, okay?" Hannah asked, hugging her little brother.

"You know you're my favourite, right?" Carl muttered.

"And you're mine." Hannah nodded, kissing the top of his head and grabbing her backpack.

"Bye, Carl." Elodie waved.

"Hey, Ellie?"

"Yeah?"

"I know you're a lesbian and all," Carl said, "But you're very hot. Thought you should know."

Elodie nodded, "Thanks, Carl."

"Bye, Fiona. Bye, Jamie." Hannah smirked as they left.

"Love you too, Hayley." Jimmy called after the girl.

Hannah's hands rested on her hips as she raised an eyebrow at Lip as he and Ian were taking the tarp off of the ice-cream truck.

"You're visiting a Milkovich sister nobody's ever heard of in Milwaukee?" Ian asked.

"Uh, correct." Lip nodded.

"'Cause that's not a bad idea at all." Hannah rolled her eyes.

"And you're gonna do what?" Ian wondered.

"We are going to evaluate her well-being and, if need be, rescue her." Lip shrugged.

Ian raised an eyebrow, "You mean kidnap?"

Lip shook his head, "Provide transport to a safer haven."

Ian and Hannah shared a look, before looking back at their brother, saying, "Kidnap."

"Rescue."

Ian shook his head, "Bad idea."

"Look, a kid's in trouble, we're gonna help." Lip said, jumping into the truck to get it started, Hannah and Ian leaning against the other door.

"Crossing state lines to bring a minor back to the Milkovich house of horror seems more like abuse." Ian said.

"Look, her mother's dead, she's home alone, and she's scared." Lip sighed.

"Welcome to the predictable consequences of using crystal meth." The older redhead shrugged as Lip struggled to start the engine.

"Have you ever driven this thing more than four consecutive miles?" Ian asked over the sound of revving once Lip had gotten the vehicle started, he and Hannah getting in.

"Nope." Hannah shook her head as Lip pulled out of the parking spot.

Ian and Hannah followed Debbie into the kitchen, the latter with Liam in her arms, "You guys, I'm up to seventy-five seconds!" She grinned.

"Doing what, Debs?" Lip asked.

"Prepping to be drowned at the city pool." Ian nodded.

"Oh, cool," Lip hummed, "Debs, this is Molly, Mandy's sister. Can you show her the bathroom, please?"

Debbie looked up at Mandy, confused, "You have a sister?" She asked, leading the Milkoviches upstairs.

"Fuck off you actually did it." Hannah said, grabbing herself a beer.

Fiona looked at Lip with a raised eyebrow, "Milwaukee?"

Lip let out a sigh, "Look, her mother OD'd, and she called Mandy."

"Uh-huh," Fiona nodded, "So why are you involved?"

"He's captain chivalry now." Ian rolled his eyes.

"Look, she's a little girl that needs shelter while we figure out the next step," Lip said, "Can't she just stay here for a bit?"

Fiona gave him a look, "We're kind of full up."

"Not with Carl in camp, we're not." Lip shrugged.

"Wow, you've got it all figured it out, I see." Hannah hummed.

"Why don't you just take her to her father's house?" Jimmy asked.

"Well, we're not gonna take her to her father's house because her father likes to molest his daughters." Lip told him.

Jimmy nodded, "Should have led with that."

Fiona let out a sigh, "You don't need to be playing house with Mandy Milkovich."

Lip looked at his sister, "So yes or no?"

Fiona sighed again, "She can stay till carl gets back," She told him, "But, Lip, doing shit like this signals something to a girl like Mandy. You sure you know what kind of signals you're sending?" She asked, only for Lip not to answer.

Hannah and Fiona shared a look as Jimmy's phone rang, the man answering it.

Hannah reached over and grabbed a chicken nugget from the tray, whispering in Fiona's ear, "This is gonna be fucked."

Fiona nodded with a hum, "Oh, don't I know it."

Hannah smirked at Ian as he stood in the bathroom, brushing his teeth.

Noticing the stare of his younger sister, Ian paused, "Can I help you?"

"So, JimmySteve's dad us sleeping on the couch." Hannah noted, stepping into the room and closing the bathroom door behind her.

"Yeah?" Ian shrugged, spitting the toothpaste out of his mouth, "What about it?"

"Nothing," Hannah shrugged with a smile as she grabbed her toothbrush, "Just make sure you two keep it in your pants."

Ian stared at her, "You know?"

"Of course I do. I am the smartest Gallagher, after all."
