His Nominator + His Domestic Life
This is going to be styled a little funky. The italics are going to be for Tony's interview for why he nominated Bruce and the normal font is for what's happening in the story without a broken fourth wall.
Enjoy! :)
-----------------------------------------
"I nominated Bruce because...well, he's got a lot going on," Tony beings to explain to the camera man in front of him. He's been on camera like this for most of his life. This kind of appearance on TV is new for him, though.
"As a lot of you may know, he's an Avenger--but most people only know him for the Hulk. He's been through a lot recently. And...well, he just wants to live a normal life. That's what it is."
He smiles. "He and Thor have their own place now. They've been slowly moving out of the Avengers Tower--we all say it's going to be good riddance when they're gone, but no one actually means that."
He pauses.
"I'm still going to miss them when they officially move out. I mean, I'm proud of Bruce for everything he's accomplished. Getting married is something that I didn't know was in his foreseeable future. And I'm happy for him. Truly. This is everything he deserves, and more."
"Honey, I'm home!" Thor calls as he comes through the door.
Bruce is sitting on the couch, reading a book. He looks up and smiles. He puts the book down and stands up to greet Thor.
"You were gone for some time," Bruce tells Thor before reaching up and kissing him on the cheek.
"Well, I'm back now, aren't I?" Thor says before he kisses Bruce softly on the lips. "You don't have anything you need to do, right?"
"Right."
"I have nothing more I need to do today. Now I can devote all my time to you."
"Now that Thor doesn't have to worry about Asgard's people since he left Valkyrie as ruler, and now that we have no Avengers level threats, Thor and Bruce have really been able to spend a lot of time together without much anxiety that the world might end at any second. They need that. And when we all learned that they were together, well, no one knew what to think. But we saw the looks in their eyes, and they were so happy. I would never want to take that away from them."
"You sure?" Bruce scratches the back of his head nervously and looks away. "I mean, surely there's someone or something out there right now more important than me-"
"No," Thor tells him. "Hey." He cups Bruce's face with his hands and brings Bruce's chin up. "Look at me, okay?" He has no idea how many times he has said this now. "There is nothing, absolutely no one, more important than you. You're my world. I want you to know that. I love you."
Bruce pecks him on the lips. "I love you too."
"Bruce...he's one of my closest friends, and he's a great guy. But...he doesn't see it that way. He has a hard time wrapping his brain around the idea that we want him around. And he never leaves that much time to just take a moment for himself. That's why I nominated him. Because I know that not only will the Fab Five help him with his self care, but also build his confidence and help him realize that he's not a burden to anyone, and improve his self image, and well...just have him feel better about himself."
Thor and Bruce are cuddled up on the couch together. The TV for their new house hasn't been installed yet, so all they're doing is cuddling and talking.
Until the door bell rings.
They both stand up to get it; not fully knowing who it is, but still having a good idea of who it might be.
It's Tony. No surprises there.
"Hi Bruce," Tony greets him.
Bruce grins. "Hey."
Tony looks up at Thor. "Nice to see you too, Point Break."
Thor rolls his eyes a little.
Tony looks back at Bruce. "I have something to tell you guys."
"Okay," Bruce responds cautiously. I have something to tell you could have MANY meanings when it comes from Tony Stark. "Come on in."
"So tomorrow..." Tony says slowly, "you'll have company."
"Honestly, I'm just glad that we found a way for the Fab Five to come out here. I mean, I know they're normally much more local to their area, and New York...isn't anywhere near there. I know I'm going to have to say a lot of thanks to them when they come."
"What kind of company?" Bruce asks, still wary. In his past, that could mean a lot of things. And most of them don't end well.
"Good company," Tony assures him. "Great, amazing people."
"So who are they?" Bruce prompts.
"People," Tony answers, giving away nothing.
Bruce groans. "That's very helpful, Tony."
"And you won't just see them tomorrow."
"Oh?"
"For the next few days you'll see them."
"Who exactly are they?"
Tony finally says it. "The Fab Five."
Bruce stops. "What?"
"And...yeah." Tony smirks. "I can't wait to see what will happen."

There! Now the story is moving!
I love Thorbruce so much.
I've been watching a lot of Queer Eye recently, and that's (hopefully) going to help me write this story.
I'm just gonna pretend I know what I'm doing.
The next chapter is going to be fun!
Please, no homophobia, profanities, hate etc in the comment section.
Best,
~Your Beloved Author (who really likes the dynamic that Tony and Bruce have)
