Branch snuck back in through his pod window, and when he turned on the lights, he was surprised to find Poppy sitting on his bed.

Branch: Aaah! What the! How did you get in here?!

Poppy: Your grandma let me in. So, where have you been all night? Why are you coming in through your window?

Branch: Uh, I lost my key to the door, hehe.

Poppy: But you know your grandma always leaves a spare under the rug?

Branch: Right! I just felt like doing something different. And to answer your other question, I went on an evening stroll.

Poppy bent down and sniffed Branch's hair.

Poppy: Hmmm...

Branch: Why did you sniff my hair?

Poppy: Well, I heard that Captain Bro and Kid Twig helped put out a fire at a jelly factory.

Branch: Is that so.

Poppy: Yeah. And your hair smells like strawberry jelly.

Branch: Oh that, that's just my new hair gel! Um, made with real strawberries.

Branch's fingers began tapping on his legs, and Poppy caught on.

Poppy: You know what I think. I think you helped put out that fire because your Kid Twig.

Branch: Whaaat? Yeah, I mean, as if. Oh ho, look at me, hehe.

Poppy: Come on, Branch. Just tell me the truth or else we're no longer best friends.

Branch: Fine. But promise you won't tell anyone else?

Poppy: Promise.

Branch: Yes, I'm Kid Twig.

Poppy: Knew it! So, can I tell Viva?

Branch: No!

Down in the secret Bro-Cave...

Branch came down one of the tubes to the Bro-Cave where he found his boss/brother eating take out food.

JD: Hey, baby bro! Did I butt beep you?

Branch: No. Hey, can I ask you an important question?

JD: Uhhh, baby trollings come from the cabbage patch!

Branch: What? No, not that.

JD: Oh, phew, good. What's up?

Branch: Well, you know my friend Poppy?

JD: Pink skin with frizzy hair who always likes making candy necklaces?

Branch: No, that's her sister Viva.

JD: Oh, is she the one who is always hyped up and scrapbooking?

Branch: Yeah, her.

JD: Okay, what about her?

Branch: Well, she's really smart, and she kinda figured out-

JD: What?

Branch: That I'm Kid Twig. You're not mad or anything, are you?

JD: *fake smiles* Nah...

Branch: Phew, for a second, I thought-

JD: You're fired and grounded.

Branch: What! But I didn't break the oath, I didn't tell her, she found out!

JD: I'm sorry, Branch. You are no longer my sidekick. Only my baby brother. Goodnight. Also, make sure you have your nightlight on tonight!

Branch: *sighs* I'm not a baby.
