Mingi hums as he and Jongho once more check their supplies, "We're looking good on produce, but we're a little short on meat and leather. I'm assuming your stock needs some work too?"

"Yeah I checked it yesterday," Jongho scratches the back of his neck, "we've got a few pieces of leather we can sell but we're low on meat."

"I say let's organize a hunting party," Mingi winks, closing his cellar and heading back inside with Jongho. He has been trying real hard to not stress over the humans, it's been well over a month, almost two now. Surely if they were wanting wolves they would've reacted instantly right?

Hunting and being around his family has helped a lot with the stress. Being around Parker and watching him be the functional three month old he is really puts a smile on his face. As well as Ana, she started walking not too long ago and is super nosy. She loves to follow Mingi into his office and is always wanting to sit with him at his desk while he works.

It's cute until she tries to chew on a pencil then that's when he has no choice but to send her off with Seonghwa or Hongjoong if his Omega is busy.

As soon as they walk in the house, he hears the magical "Dadadadad!" chant and sees Ana toddling over to him excitedly. Jongho laughs when he realizes she's just in a pink shirt with no diaper as she's running towards them. Mingi chuckles, squatting down to pick her up before littering her face and neck with kisses. She giggles and coos, patting his cheek before grinning a four toothed grin, "Dada!"

"I swear," Seonghwa grumbles as he follows her, "Child, you cannot run around the house naked!" he grabs her quickly from Mingi, and with her throwing a small tantrum he slips a diaper on and sets her free, "There, be free!"

She waddles back over to Mingi and cuddles into his leg, nuzzling her face in his shin. Mingi laughs before picking her up again, "Aw baby girl," he kisses her cheek, "Mommy's not a fan of you running around nakey is he?"

"Mommy doesn't want to clean up pee from his kitchen floor," Seonghwa rolls his eyes, "it's fine when you have a diaper on but not completely naked."

Jongho chuckles, Mingi turns his attention to him, "Hey, pretty soon you'll have your own little one to experience this with."

Jongho smiles, "Yeah... it's been hard though with all that had happened with San and Yunho..."

"How did they take the news?" Seonghwa asks, brushing back Ana's brown curls only for her to growl cutely and move away. Seonghwa narrows his eyes at her before turning his attention back to Jongho.

"It's been... quiet," Jongho sighs, "They started coming around more, and talking more to us. But I can still feel the hurt through the link and everything. Especially with the pregnancy announcement..."

Seonghwa smiles softly, patting Jongho's shoulder before looking at his mate, "It'll all work out eventually, everyone just needs time."

"Well how much time?" Jongho scoffs, "It's been almost two months."

Before Seonghwa can respond, Mingi cuts in to change the subject, "Hey, how about we all go on a hunt today? Someone can stay behind and watch the babies and we can take down more prey to stock up on our meat?"

"That actually sounds like a great idea!" Seonghwa smiles, "Yeosang did say he was wanting to get out of the house for a bit and stretch his legs, so this will be excellent for him. I can stay and watch the babies."

"Perfect," Mingi kisses his mate before looking at his brother, "Round up your crew and we'll go on a hunt."

"So here's the plan," Mingi sits in the circle in front of everyone as they waited for him to return from scouting the pack, "There's two large elk up ahead, one a buck and one a doe. Plenty of meat on them to stock our freezers up. Here's how we're going to split them up," he huffs as he looks at Jongho and his pack, "Jongho, you take Wooyoung and Yunho. All three of you will take the doe since it's smaller and there's only three of you-"

"What makes you think we can't take on the buck?" Jongho scoffs, a slight hint of a teasing tone could be heard.

"Do you really want your pregnant Omega to be stabbed by a buck horn?" Hongjoong's sarcastic tone cuts through the link and Jongho growls.

"Enough Joong," Mingi snorts, "Once you guys get the signal from me and Jongho, you all charge after your respected elk. Understood?" Everyone seemed to agree, and Mingi dismisses them.

As they get into position, they surround the herd with precision and once Mingi and Jongho gave the signal everyone was in motion. Yunho and Hongjoong chased down the two targets on the side. Yeosang, San, and Wooyoung worked to bring them down by snapping at the ankles of the two elks. And finally, Mingi and Jongho brought down elk with the final kill shot.

Once they bring the two elks together to study them, Mingi and Jongho praises them all before they grab the kills by the ankles and began to drag them. But as they were dragging the prey back to the house, San lifts his head and sniffs the air. Jongho and Mingi froze too stopping everything they were doing and Jongho trots over to San, "What is it?"

"Something doesn't feel right," San was tenses as he sniffs the air, "Someone is here."

"Who-" Jongho starts, but before he can finish, Hongjoong yelps before turning in circles.

Mingi sees something flashing on his hip and grabs it with his teeth, pulling it off. It was a tranquilizer dart he realized after dropping it to the ground. Something sharp stabs him in the hip as well and he growls, looking around for whoever is shooting at them.

"Run!" Mingi growls, and everyone scatters.

Leaving the elk behind, they split up into two groups. Hongjoong didn't get far before he falls to the ground. His muscles feel as if he was a liquid and couldn't hardly move. Before he knows it, his vision blacks out.

Mingi, San and Yeosang all divided far away from the others as they ran, but before he could get far, he too started to feel as if he was made of jello. He falls, whimpering as he tried to keep going but soon his vision turns black. Yeosang and San drag him into the bushes to hide, San growls, "Jongho! Where are the others?"

Jongho didn't respond and San whimpers. Yeosang tries this time, "Wooyoung!? Hongjoong!? Yunho!?"

"Yeosang!" Wooyoung cries out in the link, "Get out of here they set traps!"

San once more whimpers and Yeosang replies to them, "Where is Jongho?"

"He was shot with a tranquilizer dart as well," Yunho replies, "Hurry! Me and Wooyoung are stuck in traps!"

"Is he safe? Do you see Hongjoong!?" Yeosang was starting to panic as he worried about the Beta, not wanting anything to happen to him much like his Alpha.

"I don't know where Joong is..." Yunho replies sadly, if Yeosang was near his wolf he's sure the Beta would be whining.

"Yeosang we gotta go," San looks around, "We need to go bring Jongho here."

"But what if we get caught!?" Yeosang starts to shake, panicking a little more.

"We need to hurry or we will," San urges. Yeosang nods standing and following San's wolf through the trees as quietly as they can, trying to avoid whoever it is that is trapping them. They found Jongho's body laying on the ground, and quickly drag him back to where they left Mingi. By the time they bring both Alpha's together, San snorts, "Yunho, where are you? We're coming."

They didn't receive a response.

Yeosang whines, "Y-Youngie? Yunho?"

Still no response.

San whines, "They're gone."
