"Ana! Come here 'Lil Miss!" Hongjoong coos, sitting on the floor as the baby lays on her stomach, patting the ground with a loud babbling cry. He chuckles, patting the floor as well to get her attention, "Crawl to me!"

"Joong she's only six months old," Yeosang giggles, rubbing his small belly as he picks up a few of her toys and places them in the toy bin, "She's just now getting the hang of rolling over. And she can't even sit up yet."

"Yeah, but she should be scooting!" Hongjoong purses his lips, "She needs to be crawling or walking here soon but she's not budging."

"Where on earth did you get that information?"

"I read it in one of Seonghwa's books," Hongjoong waves him off, noticing the Omega giving him a strange look and he arches his eyebrow, "What?"

"Nothing," Yeosang smirks, "To think you weren't wanting babies, and now you're spending a lot of time with Seonghwa and Mingi's daughter."

"I-I don't! I don't want kids!"

"You are spending an awful lot of time with Ana here recently," Seonghwa comes in the room with a basket of laundry, ready to start folding, "Someone has baby fever. And I can smell your lies about not wanting babies of your own all the way outside to the clothes line."

"No, if I had baby fever I'd be begging Mingi to give me a baby right now. I'm simply keeping the baby fever away by watching over Ana like the awesome uncle I am." Hongjoong turns his attention back to the baby, who has rolled on her back and now has her tiny foot in her hands and mouth, chewing on her toes and drooling all over them.

Seonghwa arches his eyebrow, "Mhmm, right. So constantly having her and watching her isn't making you want one?"

"No," Hongjoong stands, "Can we stop with this nonsense? It's not going to happen, I'm content with Mingi not having a baby with me. After all, I'm just here to help him hunt and do patrol runs. And the occasional fu... sex."

"Yeah but since the others have joined and started building their house, you've spent more time in here with Ana and Yeosang instead of helping Mingi," Seonghwa shrugs, "Don't be ashamed, Mingi would love to have another pup running around here along with Ana and the new baby."

Hongjoong rolls his eyes before leaving the room, walking right past the office only to stop when he heard Mingi's voice, "Hongjoong."

The Beta pauses at the cracked door and takes a deep breath before opening it, "Alpha?"

"I think tomorrow we need to schedule a hunt with the others. We're getting a little low on meat and possibly have the Omegas run to the nearest town and grab some supplies. It's too cold to grow anything in our garden, hopefully in the spring I can build Seonghwa a green house."

Hongjoong nods, "Yes Alpha."

Mingi licks his lips, setting aside his pack log and folding his hands on the desk, "So what's this conversation about not having babies?"

Hongjoong arches his eyebrow, "I don't-"

"Save it. You know I have better hearing and have a stronger sense of smell. I'm quite curious, why do you not want children?"

Hongjoong shrugs, leaning against the doorway as he looks at Mingi, "It's just something I don't envision myself being, a parent. Especially right now when we're building a house for our new neighbors to get them situated, Yeosang already being pregnant, and a six month old in the house."

"Well it doesn't have to necessarily be right now," Mingi laughs, "we got too many projects going on to build. Adding another baby into the mix and causing all of my pack to not being able to help wouldn't be a good idea. Especially in the winter."

"Well we have the neighbors next door, maybe you can get one of them pregnant," Hongjoong smirks.

"I won't touch any of his pack and he's not to touch any of you," Mingi growls, his eyes flicker a little between red and brown as he narrows his eyes at Hongjoong, "And I advise you to keep your hands to yourself as well and not touch any of them."

"Sorry, I stepped out of line for a moment," Hongjoong clears his throat, "I don't know Mingi, a baby of my own would be nice but I'm not really... excited on the idea right now. Plus, it takes Betas a while to get pregnant unless the Moon Goddess makes it happen within the first knot."

Mingi nods, "I understand," he stands and walks over to Hongjoong, placing his hands on Hongjoong's hips, "I know how you feel about me. You try to deny it by being a sarcastic asshole, but really you're hurting yourself. I care about you Joong, you're a part of my family now and always will be. I may not be able to give myself fully to you, but I can be the best damn Alpha to you and give you pups when you're ready."

Hongjoong smiles softly, taking Mingi's face in his hands and bringing him in, "You already are the best damn Alpha to me."

Mingi leans in and presses a soft kiss to Hongjoong's lips before chuckling, "Come on, the first snowfall is supposed to happen soon and they need all of the help they can get."

"Yes Alpha," Hongjoong smiles, following Mingi outside and over to where the new house is being built.

It took them a week to build the structure, walls, and roof for the house. They still needed to put windows in, and a front and back door, but it was enough to start with when snow started to fall from the sky. Mingi suggested that they try to get windows and a door put in, but Jongho was hesitant.

"I don't want someone getting sick," Jongho comments, grabbing drywall from the outside and bringing it in.

"We should be fine now that the walls and roof is on the house," Mingi sniffs, rubbing his nose with the back of his hand, "All we need to worry about is the cold. But the walls should block out most of it and I believe we have a portable heater in the house."

"I want to make sure it's really well insulated too," Jongho comments, "I don't want anyone getting cold in the winters."

Mingi smirks, "Spoken like a true Alpha."

"Huh?"

"Putting your packs needs first," Mingi nods, "It's one trait we Alphas have that we honor. Especially as a Head Alpha. Not only should you be in tuned with their well being, you should also be in tuned with their emotions. I've made mistakes before when I claimed Hongjoong without discussing Seonghwa, but we've moved past it and I learned my lesson."

"I bet that came back and bit you in the ass," Jongho mutters, holding the dry wall in place as Mingi prepares to nail it in.

"Well, let's just say I slept alone for a week," Mingi chuckles, "But Seonghwa shortly forgave me afterwards. Like I said, I'm not the most perfect Alpha father claimed me to be."

Jongho swallows harshly, turning away from Mingi as he continues to hold the wall. It was silent as the two brothers worked together while everyone was warming up inside the other house not too far from them. Mingi moves to go grab insulation to put in between the drywall and plywood, when Jongho stops him, "How do I go about choosing a Luna?"

Mingi freezes, biting his lip as he looks at his brother, "Well, I don't really know how to help in that situation since father chose Seonghwa as my mate and Luna... but in your case, you have three options."

"Yes, but which do you think would make a Luna?" Jongho asks, "Its been on my mind a lot here lately and I'm not sure how to approach the subject. I think it stresses me out more than being the best Alpha I can be to them."

Mingi chuckles, "Don't let it stress you out. Think of it this way, as leaders of a pack, the Head Alpha is in charge of everyone's well being. He leads the hunts. He marks the territory. He claims other Betas and Omegas as his own to thrive well without the help of humans. It's like being a King to a kingdom."

"And the Luna?"

Mingi smiles, "Your Luna is your Queen of course. They're in charge of the well being of the household, offering advice to the mothers and children of the pack. Not only do they take care of your home and the residents that reside there, they also take care of you. They think along side with you what's best for the pack."

Jongho nods, pursing his lips, "How will I know I found the right Luna?"

Mingi smirks, "You'll know when you find them. A Luna and a Head Alpha manage a pack together, and make decisions together that's best for the pack. Your Luna will come forward, just give them time."

Jongho was quiet as Mingi grabs the insulation, walking over to their wall, "Now, let's block the cold air from the walls shall we? If you're going to have pups in the future you must have this place nice and warm. Babies lose body heat faster than we do."
