We had been home for a couple of weeks now and Thomas was back to his normal self again. And college had finally finished for christmas! The house was all decorated and looked very festive. I had 3 days to finish all of my Christmas shopping. Not that I had many people to buy for; Thomas (of course), Joan, Talan, Dylan, McKenzie, and my parents and get them sent off. I was meeting Dylan and McKenzie today to buy everyone else's presents and Thomas was taking me out to get my best friends theirs tomorrow. I was SO excited! I hopped down our stairs all dressed and ready and plopped my bag by the door. Thomas was already up and dressed too, cooking breakfast. We were both out today. Thomas was going  out with Joan and Talan but they were going to a different place entirely so there was no chance of us running into each other. "Morning sunshine" he said cheerily putting bacon and eggs on my plate. "Heya Thomas." I said equally cheery. He smiled and passed me my plate. I started down and gobbled my food down ready and rearing to go. I helped Thomas wash up put the things away. We laughed and
talked  whilst doing so. I was putting the last few things away when the door bell rang. "I'LL GET IT!" he screamed. He bolted for the front door. I couldn't help but laugh at how exitible he was today. I had just put the final plate away when  I hear Thomas yell "Char! It's KenzieBoy and Dylando!" I laughed and saw that Kenzie was chuckling heartily whilst Dylan didn't look do impressed by Thomas' new nickname for him. "Oh lighten up grumpy guts, it's Christmas" I said as I pulled my shoes on and grabbed my coat and bag. I gave Thomas a hug and hopped out the door. "Remember be back by 6. Love you, oo wait do you have enough money? " I smiled as 'Patton' began to shine through. I nodded and pulled out a couple of notes I had gotten in Christmas cards and from my little job I had over at the corner shop. I nodded and kissed his cheek before hopping out the door again. "Love you" I said as me and my friends walked and way from the house. We all waved to Thomas and he waved back. We chatted randomly all the way to town. Whe we got inside we went straight to the nearest coffee shop and ordered take away drinks. Once we had bought them we began our little
adventure buying presents and other little things for our families. I gazed at my watch and saw it was lunchtime. Right on cue Kenzie whined,"I'm hungry" I laughed as Dylan rolled his eyes. "You are always hungry McKenzie. But it is lunch so I supposed we better decided where to eat" Dylan looked at me for an idea. "Hey I'm happy with just a Maky D's." I said holding my hands up in defence. I wasn't fussy where we ate as long as it served food I was happy. "But I want Nandos" Kenzie complained. I rolled my eyes and Dylan's eyes Dylan's eyes sparkled with amusement. He pulled a coin out of his pocket and flipped it, high. He caught it smooth and covered it up so we couldn't see it. "Charlie, Heads or Tails? If she gets it right we go to McDonald's, if she gets it wrong we go to Nandos. Comprendè?" We nodded and I guessed heads. Dylan lifted his hand and it was tails. "Haha. Yes Nandos!" Kenzie jumped up and down and led the way over to Nandos.
We had ordered and we're sat down waiting for it to come. Kenzie kept rubbing it in my face that he was right and I just ignored him pouting.
"Do stop pouting Charlie. It was a 50 50 chance." Dylan explained. I glared at him. "pipe down Dylando" I was messing around with them all but the didn't seem to catch on. Dylan stared at me straight in the face and a smirk began to form on his face.  "Right. Well if you're going to be like that, I think I need to sort your attitude before we eat." he wiggled his hands towards me and I chuckled.  "I was messing with you guys I don't mean it! I'm honestly not bothered where we eat" Dylan looked at me and put his hands down as our food came over. We all said thank you and chatted as we ate. After paying up we wandered around the shops some more. I had found a new beanie for Joan, it was a batman one, I got Talan a black cat skater dress, my mum got perfume and my dad got a picture frame and I would need to make sure that they are both wrapped up well so the don't break in transportation. I knew exactly what to get Thomas but it was just finding the perfect ones. We walked around some more shops and I'm was just about ready to call it a day when I saw them! A locket with the words Big Brother on them in a  heart shape and a flat rainbow bracelet with a few gems
here and there. They were perfect and just what I was after! I walked up to the counter where a plump friendly lady greeted me. "Hello there dear what can I do for you?" I told her I wanted the locket and the bracelet. She nodded and asked if I had a photo ready. I showed her the photo I wanted going in the locket. It was a picture of us when I was 4 and Thomas was 16. We both were looking at the camera genuinely happy and smiling. Thomas was knelt on the grass next to me with his arms wrapped around me, hugging me and I was doing the same back but standing. It was one of my favourite pictures. She worked some magic out the back with the photo and whe  she came back in it looked fab! I was so happy. Thomas was going to love these. I payed for the bracelet and the locket and left the shop happy. This wasn't wasted after all! I looked at my watch. "Jeez! We need to get going I have half an hour to get home!"  was shocked about how quickly the time had gone. "the bus is there! Quick!" we all darted for the bus. After hopping on and finding seats i anxiously waited untill my stop constantly looking at my phone as 6 drew closer. I saw my stop and
pressed the bell. As we drew up to the stop i made sure i had everything. Me and my friends hopped back out of the bus and i checked the time. I let out a sigh of relief when i saw that we still had fifteen minutes to spare. I got to my front door and hugged my friends goodbye. "See you guys at new year." I watched them walk down the street waving all the time. They walked round the corner and I went into my house. "Thomas! I'm back!" I heard a thudding and looked at the stairs. "Hey Hunny, did you have a good time?" He said coming off the stairs and looking at me. "Yeah I got what I wanted" I went past him and went to go and put my bag upstairs. "Get changed we are going out for tea that's why I wanted you home" I smiled and nodded darting up the stairs. Gosh I love my Brother.
I skipped down the stairs after getting changed and met Thomas at the door. "Ready Princess?"
"Ready and raring to go" I smiled
