Tobio Pov

Reading the up coming tournaments on the way home I freeze seeing one of the dates, that day I was meant to go see M/N play and I promised him I'd come this time as the other times I failed to go see him and I could see him deflate every time and I was sure if I didn't come this time he's never invite me again and I couldn't let that happen as I loved watching him play. We used to when we were younger before he got in the accident but even then he continued just in a wheelchair.

Shutting the door behind me I see him in the living room reading my grade card making me gulp "you still got no brain Tobio" he whines out "I'm sorry I'll try harder" "I'm not mad Tobio I know you tired your best I helped you study after all" I nodded gripping the tournament sheet "is something wrong?" "No, I got the dates for my games" "great let me see, I want to go see you play after all your coming to see me" "um how about Monday" "I'm free then" I nodded settling it I could tell he was confused why I didn't give him the sheet but I was panicking. What do I do now?

Not concentrating I sit on the bench head in hands as Sugawara walks over with Daichi "what's wrong?" "can the games be changed?" "um, if there's a reason they will be" I groan flopping my head down again "what's wrong with the dates?" "the Wednesday on, my brother has a game and I promised I'd be there, I missed all the others for my games" "we can try reason with them" I nodded as they walked away on the phone but I knew they didn't get an answer.

Winning our game on Monday I smile satisfied and as I leave I hear M/N'/s voice as he wheels himself over to me "you did great Tobio I can tell your improving" I thank him feeling even better to hear that when Hinata runs out with Nishinoya and Tanaka" "hey! who are you?" "I'm M/N, Tobio's older brother" "you never said you had an older brother" "it wasn't your business" "do you play any sports M/N?" "I do I'm a Paralympic actually for volleyball" seeing them excited as M/N answered all their excited questions.

Until one question made me freeze "are you coming to the Wednesday game?" M/N looks at me confused "you said it was Monday and Friday" "I might of missed Wednesday" I say looking down as he sighs but peaking at his expression I noticed the sad look before he put his happy face back on "I have my own game that day but maybe Friday after all I love to watch Tobio play" and with that we all leave as I walk behind M/N feeling guilty "why are you sulking behind me?" he says turning his head to face me "because I promised I'd watch you" "It's fine Tobio, I'm not mad, just promise to at least win that day" I nodded still not believing he wasn't sad about it.

Wednesday came quicker than I thought and before I could enter the gym I was dragged out by the whole team thrown on the bus going in the opposite direction of the match "where are we going?" "to see your brother play" "But our match" "they said they'd change it for Thursday after watching your brother play is important, he needs support too" I nodded smiling thanking them as we all sit a bit late but I didn't mind because in the end I kept my promise to M/N and watched him play and he was as amazing as I remembered.
