I didn't understand what changed between me and my brother we had been close and he helped me train but then it went south after the accident and he turned cold towards me and my parents seemed to turn against him which I defended him but it just made him angrier at me but hearing him say he wished I wasn't born hurt more than anything he said but that night he left and never returned home. I kept training wanting to protect our parents even if they turned harsh I swore to protect them but I never saw the attack coming.

I had failed them and now it was only me but even I was useless there was no way I could train like I used to after losing my sight in my left eye and the ugly scar that was left a remainder of my failure I tended to stay home where I looked after everything my parents used to I did it all now. One late night I hear a tired whine making me look outside seeing a group of three looking exhausted, calling out to them inviting them to stay the night.

But I noticed one had a weird expression on his face "your haori it's the same as one of the pillars" "that would be my older brother, so he made it after all" "do you not speak to each other?" "we don't he's never been fond of me but I'm happy to know he's happy" he nods falling asleep the next morning I wave them off after giving them some food and water for their travels. I turn to enter my house not expecting to see Iguro there.
