As a young child I knew my parents favourited Yumeko always praising her getting her whatever she wanted but even when I did something amazing they ignored it saying I could do better even if I got the same grades as her I still did worse in their eyes. It didn't help that she always smirked at me knowing she got what she wanted their attention. When I was young teen I learned to not bother trying and just did what I loved which was painting.

Focusing on a painting as I heard people enter meaning another party celebrating her again knowing it was going to be a long night I put my headphones off entering my peaceful world continuing to do my thing not noticing the time or my sister entering until I finished for the night. Seeing her looking around the room before her eyes locked on me "let me guess you'll tell mum and dad you did it right" I ask annoyed "I'm not, it's your not mine" "that never stopped you before" she tries to apologise but I walk past her leaving her there.

However she continued talking to me only when our parents weren't here so I wasn't interested in what she wanted until one night when we were eating she stood up bright red "I want you to throw a party for M/N" "Huh?!" All of us say confused "he's just as amazing as me I was foolish to not notice but he has so much talent plus all the birthdays you didn't celebrate you owe him. He's your son you knew" "well what can he do" "he can paint really well" seeing her hand a painting to them I rest my head on the table knowing it would insulted but instead I felt myself being hugged "well done M/N were so proud of you. Were so sorry for not seeing g we promise to notice you from now on."
