M/N Pov

I trained and trained to be just like my sister Edelgard even if she never spoke to me and just glared and said I was weak it motivated me to be just like her and I knew she glared and insulted me to make me stronger which I was fine with as I just got stronger over the years and our father accepting me to fight in the lines which made me so happy and I couldn't wait to tell Edelgard but she never really came home and by the time she did I wasn't the same boy she knew who wanted her attention all I knew now was to fight and survive.

Hearing rushing around in the corridor I look up from my belt just in time to see her there panting heavily as she rests on my door before walking over to me holding me still "don't go, please M/N" "it is my duty to protect the kingdom" "you'll get yourself killed you all will! your just being used as a distraction as they set up the real thing" giving her a smile as I place my gloved hand on her face wiping the tears away "I know, but what other use am I?" giving her a forehead a kiss I leave her standing there.

The fight was brutal and I ended up badly injured so I couldn't do anything just lay there wondering what was going on anymore. Snapped out my thoughts as I felt a weight on me I look up seeing Edelgard there "you came back, thank you" "you worry to much" "I don't but if you died without me telling you how sorry I am I would of regretted it" "I was never angry so don't worry alright?" she nods sitting back a smile on her face.
