Since M/N was born he was fragile and I knew that as my parents often told me I couldn't play with him because how weak he was and one night after they died in a car crash leaving me to look after him I felt confident I could after all I watched how my parents did it but when he collapsed not breathing properly I ran to the neighbours screaming for help and since that night he was never allowed out the hospital.

Now as a young adult coming in to see him everyday as he asked for stories of my adventures I knew he truly enjoyed them but I often spotted a sad smile and I knew he wanted to explore the outside but he was only allowed in the hospital gardens and soon he lost his smile just staring outside I knew it was just his off days which he had often and then he'd be smiling again forgetting he was ever sad. But searching high and low for his favourite pokemon I found it deciding to gift it to him.

Handing him the box as I stand there nervous as he looks at the box confused "it's not my birthday though" "I know but I know you need a little cheering up and I just hope this gift will cheer you up." he nods opening it before taking the poke ball out, clicking it open reveling his favourite pokemon he smiles "he's mine?!" he asks excited "he is, you can name him and Trian him if you like." "thank you so much, your the best big sister ever!" I laugh messing his hair up as he talks excited to his new friend that I knew that'd look after M/N for me when I couldn't.
