I was messing around with my phone, which Nate had gotten for me. He said my old one looked exactly like it, and all my contacts from the old one were on there, minus our parents.

I was watching a YouTube video when Nate walked back into my room.

"Hey kid. How are you?" he asked immediately.

"Considering the fact that I can't remember anything, I'm good." I answered, pausing the video.

"Right. Bad question to ask." Nate chuckled awkwardly. "I managed to contact one of your best friends besides myself. She should be coming."

My phone showed a notification from this thing called Skype immediately after he said that. I went on there to see that someone had said hi to me.

'I'm sorry, but I don't remember you.' I sent back. 'Memory loss and everything.'

'It's fine. I should have expected it. But I hope you get better soon. And so does our friends and all of your followers.' she sent back. I smiled at that, and Nate walked over to read what she had said.

"So, you will be able to get out of here tomorrow. You ready to go to my home?" he asked. I nodded.

"I just want to remember something other than this place or the crash."

"Well, I have to go, so I'll see you tomorrow, ok?" he smiled. I nodded. "I'll see you later, ok Rose?" I smiled back at him.

"I love you." I whispered as he left. I didn't know if he heard it.

A couple of minutes later, a girl ran into the room, followed by a man with bright blue hair.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so happy you're ok!" the girl sighed. "I know you don't remember me or my brother, but I'm Dawn."

"It's kind of like when Nate came in. He had to tell me that our parents were dead, and I don't even remember them." I stated. "So, this is better."

"I'm sorry about your parents." the man stated. He had an accent. I couldn't tell from where. (Before you freak out, Rose doesn't remember anything, so she wouldn't remember what a British accent sounded like.) Dawn smiled.

"It's fine. Who are you?" I asked. The man sighed sadly, nd Dawn's face fell.

"This is my brother, Dan Middleton. He makes videos on YouTube. He's also known as The Diamond Minecart." Dawn explained. She seemed a bit down.

"I'm sorry I don't remember you two, and I'm sure that we were friends. But I promise that I will try to remember you both." I smiled. They smiled back, and then a nurse informed them that they needed to leave.

They both waved and then left. I sighed, closed my eyes, and fell asleep.

*time skip to next day*

I was woken up by someone shaking my shoulder gently. I opened my eyes to see Nate smiling at me.

"Hey little sis. Ready to go home?" he asked. I nodded happily. The food was horribly bland, and I always felt sicker than normal, stuck in that bed.

"Can we go get ice cream?" I asked out of pure instinct. Nate laughed as he nodded.

"We can get you anything your heart desires right now." he stated. At that moment, Dawn and Dan walked in.

"Hey Nate. How are you doing?" Dan asked.

"I'm doing the best I can." Nate replied. Dawn sat down in one of the seats next to the bed. She then stole my phone off the table.

"Dawn! What are you doing?" I whined jokingly.

"Well, at least we know the old Rose is still in there." Nate stated after a moment. Dan nodded in agreement. Dawn handed my phone back to me.

YouTube was pulled up, and there was a video playing.

By the end, I was looking at Nate weirdly.

"Ok, it was for halloween." he sighed. "And Mat agreed to do it!"

"Still. I have no idea what that wa-" I was cut off mid-sentence by a flashback.

"Rose, Mat will be over in a bit." Nate stated. I mumbled a response as I pulled open Skype on my computer. "Rose, I'm going to eat all of your pizza!"

"NO!! NOT MY PRECIOUS PIZZA!!" I shouted, jumping up from the computer and turning around.

"Thank you for acknowledging my existence." Nate chuckled. "Mat will be over in a bit to record the Mangled music video. Just wanted to let you know."

"Ok. I'll stay quiet." I smiled before turning back to the computer. I immediately called Dawn, and she immediately picked up.

"Nate... I- I remember the day you recorded that. You threatened to eat my pizza just to get my attention." I stated. Nate's eyes widened and he hugged me.

"Thank you for remembering something. That's amazing!" he cried.

"You threatened to eat her pizza just to get her attention?" Dawn laughed.

"Yep. It was right before I called you." I grinned. Dawn smiled happily. "Now, when the freak am I going to get out of here?"

"Oh. As soon as I sign you out." Nate chuckled, pulling away from me. "I'll be right back."

He then left the room.
