Branch's POV

Oh my goodness me. To my surprise, Poppy ate EVERY LAST DROP of that super sized ice cream in under ten minutes. I'm shocked. I couldn't even fit the ice cream in my bunker cause it was that big. Anyways, it was around 6:30 pm so it was still kinda early. "Hey Branch." I hear the world's most sweetest voice call my name so I instantly knew who it was. "Yes, Princess?" Poppy giggled and blushed when I said that. But I'm not surprised. She blushes every time I talk. Strange. "It's still kinda early Branch. Wanna do something else.", she said. "Sure, but what exactly do you wanna do?" At this moment, she pulled out her trusty scrapbook and started scrapbooking her plan. Ugh. This is one thing I'm not fond of. Scrapbooking takes so much time. "First, we go tell my father and the Snack Pack that we're dating. Second, we go swimming at the lagoon close to your bunker." Wow. I thought it was gonna be a longer list, so I had to ask, "And what's third on the list?" Poppy stopped to think 🤔. Then she continued, "Third, we sleep at Branch's bunker." What in the name of the great King Peppy! "E-e-excuse me d-did you just say m-my bunker?". Dear God, help me survive the night.

Poppy's POV

I figured that it would be a tad bit late when we're done with our lonely two tasks I planned. But you know, we'll be fine. I decided to tell my father first. My father is Branch's #1 fan after he saved us from the Bergens. *time skip* We finally made it to daddy's pod. *Knock knock knock* we waited a couple seconds until the door flung open and hit me in the nose. Wow dad. *sigh* Branch was right. Always keep a good distance away from the door. "Hello King Peppy." Branch said happily. I blushed at that. I don't know why but every time Branch talks, I start to blush. I love his voice.
"Hello, son. What may I do for you on this lovely evening?" Said King Peppy.

"Well..." Branch said nervously. I noticed this and jumped in. "You see dad..." I said grabbing my lovers hand, "We would like to know if we can date each other." "Why, of course! Branch is such a splendid gentleman to hang out with. I really don't see why you needed to tell me though." Me and Branch looked at each other with confused faces. "You see Poppy, I already knew you were dating because I saw you kissing Branch." Omg, my father saw us kissing?!? I felt my cheeks slowly burning up turning into a very dark red. Branch on the other hand started laughing a bit because I was a hot pink mess. "Thanks, King Peppy" Branch said. "Please son, call me Peppy instead." "Ok Peppy." Branch said. "Bye daddy."

(A/N okie dokie. Wow. For some reason I wanna be Poppy now. But unfortunately, I am not animated nor am I a troll. Sigh 😔. I guess dreams don't come true.)
