*molly was carrying poppy on her back, branch was walking next to molly to make sure poppy didn't fall off of her and biggie was carrying Mr. dinkles who was also walking next to molly*

Poppy: hey branch?

Branch: yeah poppy?

Poppy: can- can I talk to you ALONE?

Branch: sure

Branch: hey molly can you put poppy down? she and I need to talk for a minute

Molly: okay then?

*molly puts poppy on the ground while branch helps hold poppy up and she and branch walk to a place that's far from molly and biggie*

*branch places poppy on a log and helps her sit upright by holding her shoulders while also rubbing them comfortingly*

Branch: so what did you want to talk about?

Poppy: um well I just wanna say...

*poppy throws her arms around branch and she nuzzles her head into branch's neck*

*branch blushes and his eyes widen and put his arms around poppy's waist*

*poppy then starts sobbing because of the waterfall incident*

Branch: shh shh shh it's okay poppy..you're okay...you're alright

Poppy (voice breaking): oh branch...I'm scared...

Branch: why?

Poppy: be-*sniffles* because what if we can't save the world this time?

*poppy hangs her head low as she continues to sob*

Branch: hey poppy look at me, look at me

*branch lifts poppy's chin making her look into his eyes while he wiped her tears away*

Branch; it'll be fine you can do it...

Poppy: you really think so branch?

Branch: I don't think so, I KNOW so

*poppy smiles softly while branch holds her close to his chest letting her hear his heartbeat*

*branch then puts her onto his lap sideways and slowly rocks poppy and he starts to hum "true colours" lulling her to sleep*

*meanwhile with molly and biggie*

Biggie: molly? do you know why it's taking poppy and branch so long?

Molly: Nope I don't know why

Molly: I'ma go check on them

*molly starts to sniff out their scent before peeking behind a plant seeing branch rocking poppy to sleep humming "true colours" to her*

Molly (whispering): *smiles softly* huh how about that?

Branch (whispers to poppy while she sleeps): okay poppifer we'll stay here until you're all better

*molly teleports back to where biggie was*

Biggie: so did you find out what's keeping branch and poppy?

Molly: he lulled poppy to sleep and he's coming back here

Molly: now promise not to tell anybody capisce?

Biggie: capisce

*branch walks to molly and biggie while holding poppy in his arms bridal style*

Branch: hey guys? we're gonna have to stay here until poppy can regain her strength

Biggie: Oh alright then

molly: good thing I packed some sleeping bags

*molly pulls some sleeping bags out of her wings and lays them onto the ground*

*biggie and molly fall asleep right away while branch holds poppy close to his chest in his sleeping bag looking up at the stars still thinking about his feelings for poppy*

Branch: oh poppy...what did I do to deserve you?

*branch said while stroking poppy's soft, strawberry-scented hair making poppy let out a soft and quiet moan*

Branch: *chuckles* you are adorable...

*branch then wraps his hair around her body like a blanket making her snuggle into his blueberry and nature scented hair*

Branch: wow poppy you are the kindest, sweetest, positive, most beautiful troll I have ever met in my entire life

Poppy (Thinking): and you are the nicest, protective, handsome, caring, funniest, most charming troll I have ever seen in my whole life

*branch then falls asleep with his hair still wrapped around poppy's body, spooning her*
