The gorgeous pink princess of trolls sat at her table eating her breakfast. She took her last bite of eggs, then chugged down her orange juice within a millisecond.

"Ahh what a da- hic!" Poppy slapped her hand over her mouth.
"Oh crud- hic! no I have the hiccups!"

She couldn't do her full day of princess duties like this! She wouldn't be able to do anything properly with these stupid hiccups in the way, so she did the first thing to come to mind: Run into the woods, Branch would know what to do! Hopefully... If he even let her in his bunker.

She wondered around, her hiccups killing her each time, until she met a large rock with a mat with the words 'Go Away' painted on it.

She inhaled before yelling and banging her fist against the rock.
"BRANCH BRANCH BRA-Hic!"
Suddenly the you could see gorgeous blue eyes through the peep whole.

"What do you want Poppy?" Branch asked clearly annoyed and slightly glaring at her.

Poppy opened her mouth to speak but the hiccups beat her to it
"I-Hic!" Branches gaze softened a bit, surprising Poppy at the change of attitude.

"You have the hiccups?" All Poppy could do was nod her head a simple 'yes'. "And you came to me for help?" Poppy grinned widely and nodded once again.
Branch sighed opening the trap door letting her in. Poppy jumped down onto the elevator, admiring the nice work, being Poppys first time down in the bunker.

There was a long akward silence between the two, besides the hiccuping, Branch stood still with his arms crossed. While Poppy stared down at her feet.

After what seemed forever they finally reached the bottom, Branch walked off to a room that seemed to be his kitchen as Poppy just stood and stared at the place in awe.

Branch came out with a glass of water, and motioned for Poppy to sit on the couch. She did what she was told and sat, Branch handed Poppy the water and told her to drink. She drank just a little bit of it before Branch had wondered off again. He was gone for quite a while as Poppy wondered Where he went, she took a backwards sip before Branch popped out from behind the couch yelling 'BOO!' Trying to scare the hiccups out of Poppy, which just ended up with Poppy covered in water.

"Hey-Hic!" Poppy looked at him rather crossed, but Branch just nodded before leaving again. He came back with a small towel, giving her the towel she dried herself off.

Poppy had finished drying herself off when she saw Branch sitting at a desk, writing something I guess. She sat back down as she continued to hiccup, it was very awkward before Poppy spoke up.

"Are you-Hic! Gonna say something?" Branch just rolled his eyes at Poppys question.

"What do you want me to say, Poppy?!" Branch said rather rudely, as Poppy just looked down. Branch felt kind of bad for snapping at her, but she was super annoying. How can someone so cute be so annoying?!

"Sorry..." Branch apologized making Poppy look at him.

"Don't be sorry, I-Hic! Shouldn't have come bother you anyway-Hic!" Poppy stood up and walked way to leave before Branch stopped her.

"Don't go" he mubbled. "I will help you, I guess." He said. I mean it's better than her going to Creep- I mean Creek (dang auto correct) for help.
A wide smile came upon Poppys face as she went to give Branch a big hug.

"T- hic! hank you!"

"W-Whatever, just stop." Branch blushed and pushed away from the hug.
Poppy smiled and sat back down of Branches couch.

"So what do we try next?"

"Hmm... tried holding your breath?" Branch asked

"No, smart idea!" :D

"Every once and a while I come up with one"

Poppy took a breath in a held it for as long as she could.
It was a while as Poppy as there with her cheeks blown up holding her breath worrying Branch.

"P-Poppy? I think you can let go now." He said before she let go of the air gasping for breath, her head aching.

"Wow that was- Hic! Well sugar" :C
The princess cussed, which threw Branch off a slightly.

A silence grew throughout the room once again, Branch thinking of other suggestions while Poppy stared at him while he thought.
Poppy managed to guide her eyes somewhere else, noticing a XBOX
(or whatever you prefer them playing on :D)
(but don't judge me i think its cute😭😭)

"Wanna play a game?" She asked nodding her head towards the XBOX. Branches eyes flickered across the room to the remotes then looked at Poppy and nodded.

They had played games for a bit, Branch lost most of them :D, but Branch opened up to Poppy more than he had to anyone else in the past twenty years.

"HEY! You cheated!" Branch yelled as Poppy laughed.

"Did not!" She continued laughing, Branch folded his arms and pouted.
"Aw you're so cute!" She squealed and wrapped Branch in a embrace.Branch blushed then pushed her off of him turning his head away from Poppy.
Poppys laughter died down then noticing her hiccups were gone.

"Well would you look at that, I'm healed!" Branch turned his head facing her again then smiled shocking Poppy.

"Yeah you are!" He laughed a bit, but not much was said after that. The silence filled the room the two were just staring at eachother. Slowly leaning towards eachother.

Suddenly there was a very high pitched squeal and loud shushing then a quite 'sorry'. The two jolted at the noises and turned away blushing.
The silence came back filling the large space, then Poppy stood up and walked up to the plat form as Branch stood up and followed.

Poppy hopped up onto the lift as Branch stood there awkwardly with his hands in his pockets. Poppy walked up to Branch and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek then rushed back and pulled the lever on the lift.

Branch stood there in shock a hand placed on his cheek a small smile on his face. Then quite sobs were heard from a closet. Branch opened it up to see the snack pack and Spring.

"Oh hai!" Spring said as a stupid grin crossed her face.

"You are all dead." Branch glared as he grabbed a shovel.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-"

The snack pack and I all died broppy happened so all is well
