But was she really? The Queen of Pop had many things going on. There's ALWAYS a party or celebration in troll village. At this point she was thinking there was too many holidays.

The Queen of Troll Village stopped staring at her wall.

She dropped her pink glitter pen into a wooden pink and blue pen holder and her eyes searched for the clock.

"6:00am. How long have I been doing paperwork?" She wondered to herself. But she also wondered why she was up at 6:01am.

"I'll go change, wait, I'm already changed? Did I not sleep last night?"
That past night to the Queen was a blur. Apparently she didn't even go to bed and went straight to her desk for paperwork and something else.

"Wait what else was I suppose to do?" She spoke to herself trying to remember what else she was going to do. Until it all clicked into her mind.

"Oh my gosh! It's Barb's birthday! AND THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE'RE CELEBRATING IT IN HARMONY!" Poppy realized. Her hair was messy she had eye bags, there was an empty coffee mug beside her.

"And, we have 2 suprise parties, a sugar shortage, 6 hairballs to unplug and its Branch's QUARTER BIRTHDAY!" Poppy panicked. She felt the head ache beginning.

"I seriously think we need to put up a sign telling trolls to slide one at a time. Eh, I'LL DO THAT TOMORROW!" She sprinted off her desk chair and headed for the washroom. She brushed her hair,brushed her teeth, dusted off her dress and put on her crown.

She sprinted over to pile of envelopes and gave them to a flyer bug to send out the invitations. "Now, I gotta do the morning announcements, unplug the hairballs, deal with the sugar shortage and find Branch's quarter birthday gift."

"Waittt, why am I panicking? Its only 7:00am?!? I spent an entire hour fixing myself up?!" Poppy whimpered. "That means the morning announcements are in 1 hour. Phew. Now I can go wrap Branch's gift and..."

She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw the bed for Gary that she hand crafted, WAS GONE.

"W-wha-... WHERE DID IT GO?!!" Poppy panicked more. "Now I have to find the bed AND wrap the gift!" She sighed and slumped down beside her bed. "How am I gonna get all of this done? I'll go talk to Branch and ask if he can help me with the hairballs."

Poppy sprinted out of her pod still panicking about the gift lost. There was no way she could make another one. The one she made took her a FULL WEEK. You probably think that's not long but this is Poppy! She gets things done quickly! Or, atleast she thought.

Once she reached the blue troll's bunker she knocked on the door.

"Branch? Branchifer? BRAAAAAANNNNCHHHHH." Poppy knocked but there was no answer. Poppy groaned and yelled into the mat.

"The birds attacked meeeeeee!" She yelled.

"3....." There were footsteps
"2....." then the elevator went up.
"1!" Branch's mat flew open and Branch went to Poppy immediately.

"WHICH BIRDS?!? I KNEW THEY WERE EVIL! WHERE ARE YOU HURT?! ARE YOU OK?!!" Branch panicked as he rushed to Poppy.

"Branch, I'm fine. Can you help me unplug the hairballs?" Poppy asked tiredly.

"Woah, Pops you ok? You got eye bags. Have you gotten sleep lately? I don't want you exhausting yourself." Branch spoke in a soft tone.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Now let's go!" She said happily and dragged him to the water slide.

While untangling the hairball:

"Poppy seriously though, you look exhausted. You can tell me if you need help." Branch said as he freed another troll.

"Branch, no. Like I told you, I'm fine." Poppy groaned. She held her head as the headache came back.

Branch was getting more worried for her. Poppy had a HUGE job, she was queen. And whenever the trolls had a problem,they turned to her. Branch understood this all when he and Poppy encountered the Rare Switcher-Ruby.

Poppy was im her pod pacing back and forth.
She was annoyed. But at the same time, stressed and sad.

Branch wouldn't stop asking her if she was fine. Her answer was always the same. Yes. But was she actually fine? She knew the Branch was just looking out for her, and she respected that.

"Gee, is this what Branch is like whenever I annoy him?" She wondered.
"Poor Branch. How does he even love me..."

Poppy's pacing was interrupted when she remembered something. She looked up to a latch in her pod ceiling. It lead to the attic.

She got a ladder and opened it up. In there was Branch's present. She completely forgot that there was something else to it. It wasn't just a bed for Gary, she also had given him a picture frame with a picture of Poppy and Branch. The frame was painted. One side with pink and the other with blue. And in the middle was purple.

Poppy smiled at the picture and grabbed it. She held it close to her heart. And with that she leaned her head back and hit her head on the frame to the latch of the attic.

"Aww sugar!" She rubbed her head.
"Well, I guess the world really just hates me." She smiled and looked at the picture and gave the Branch in the picture a little peck.

Once she grabbed the picture frame she reached for the bed. But as she leaned in to grab it, she lost her balance at fell back.

"Woah, woah WOAH!" She fell and hit her head on the ground.

Poppy sat up and groaned in pain.
"Ugh, my head."

She turned her focus to the picture frame. The glass covering was shattered and there were pieces of glass everywhere. Luckily Poppy was able to clean up the glass pieces, but he heart was shattered to see it broken.

"WHY DO YOU HATE ME WORLD?!" She screamed.

Poppy sighed as she threw away all the glass pieces and headed for announcements.

After announcements she decided to give Branch his present.

She had put it in a red box with a blue bow wrapped around it.

"Branch? Hey I need to tell you something!"

"Is it a fake thing about birds again? Cause I'm not buying that." Branch replied.

"Just, just come up" Poppy was excited to see Branch's reaction.

As the door mat opened Branch found Poppy holding the present.

"Happy Quarter Birthday Branch!!!" She exclaimed happily. She handed him a card.

"Dear Branch,
Thank you for everything you have done to help me through thick and thin. I hand crafted the bed for Gary and I have a little picture frame to remind you that you will always be the one I love.

Love
~Poppy"

Branch smiled at the card.
"Wait you made a bed for gary?"
Branch exclaimed in excitement.

"Yup!! I hope you like it!" Poppy placed down the box and Branch found the picture on top of the bed.

Branch picked up the frame and held it close just like Poppy did. Well, Branch didn't fall off a ladder nearly getting a concussion but they both knew they wanted to keep each other close to their hearts.

Branch slowly picked up the bed at the bottom of the box. He looked at the two items and they brought tears to his eyes.

"Thank you." Branch whispered. Poppy smiled and hugged him.

"It really isn't anything! Just a week worth of crafting for my boyfriend." She smiled warmly.

"Now, I gotta go. See you at Barb's party! Love you Branch!" She kissed him on the cheek and walked to her pod.

Once she reached her pod she decided to take a nap. The party was in about 5 hours so she had plenty of time.

As she laid in bed she turned to her bedside table and smiled seeing a picture of her and Branch.

She stared at that picture for a while. But she didn't even fall asleep. So she got up and decided to go hang out with the Snack Pack.

It was time for the party. And Poppy, had never felt more stressed. A bunch of trolls were coming and alot of them came from the different tribes. At this point Poppy seriously didn't even know what sleep or rest was.

Poppy walked into her washroom and splashed her face with water.

"Okay Poppy. *inhale* You can do this." She wiped off the water and headed towards the middle of the village.

Poppy wondered why didn't they have the party at Volcano Rock City? Well, first off, the kingdom wouldn't really be fitting for everyone. And Barb even said that it should be in Pop Village considering it was the easiest tribe to get to.

Poppy reached the big mushroom and got a ladder. Branch and The Snack Pack were helping her set up.

Poppy was up on a ladder adjusting the banner to the tree. Branch looked at her and was worried. He noticed her eye bags, the slower she walked and that sometimes she almost fell asleep on the spot.

Branch got down from his side of the banner and went to get his water bottle wiping sweat from his forehead.

"I'll just, I-I'll-" Poppy was cut off when she closed her eyes from being exhausted and stressed.

She fell off the ladder. But Branch, had quick enough reflexes to catch her before she hit the ground.

He cradled her in his arms. Branch had her head lying on his lap.

"B-Branch?" Poppy stuttered.

"Poppy! You haven't eaten all day AND you need rest!" Branch exclaimed concerned for his girlfriend.

Poppy groaned and rubbed her eyes.

"Branch, like I told you, I'm-I'm-I-I-" She fought trying to stay awake. She was breathing heavily,sweating and she had the tiniest tears in the corners of her eyes.

The Snack Pack came by concerned for their friend.

Guy:"Oh Poppy! I cant believe she fell."

Suki: " *sigh* Poppy , should've listened to Branch."

Biggie: " This is terrible."

Smidge: "oh my guh"

Cooper: " wait, what happened?"

Branch hugged Poppy and lifted her to make me her sit up. Poppy held her head and scrunched her face up in pain.

"Come on, you have to go get some rest." Branch picked up Poppy bridal style, and brought her into her pod.

He layed her into her bed. Branch lifted up the blanket and draped it over here tucking her in.

He leaned over and planted a small kiss on her forehead. "Goodnight Poppy." He spoke in a soft tone.

Branch sat in a chair hear her bed making sure she rested.

~Later

Poppy woke up about fifteen minutes later. Obviously that isn't enough time but she really wanted to finish setting up the party.

She got out of the bed and turned her head over to Branch and smiled. He was asleep in the chair next to her bed.

Poppy pulled the blanket of her bed and draped it over Branch.

"Goodnight Branchifer." She whispered,then she headed out.

The second she closed the door Branch's sky blue eyes fluttered open.

Was he actually asleep? Nope. He had a plan.

"Poppy's soon going to realize she should've listened to me." Branch smirked then jumped off the wooden chair.

"But, obviously I'm not gonna let her hurt herself." Branch opened the pod door and sprinted until he reached the area. He stood behind a tree near the big mushroom.

Poppy showed up and The Snack Pack exchanged confused faces. Poppy was still super tired. That fifteen minute nap was like a break. She needed actual sleep. Her eyebags were still visible and you could tell as she kept trying to keep her eyes open.

Dj Suki climbed down a tree and walked over to Poppy.
"Hey, uh Poppy. I thought Branch asked you to rest?" She questioned her.

"Its alright Dj, I'm *yawns* fine." She yawned.

"Whatever you say Poppy." Dj replied. She was still worried for her friend.

Poppy went to the side and started setting up the desert table. She got a bunch of confetti in Barb's favourite colors, there was a large dance floor, a cake with Barb's favourite flavour, Dark Chocolate and lastly a huge banner that said Happy Birthday Queen Barb.

A few foot steps were heard and Poppy turned her head to see Barb there.

"Barb! " she yelled and sprinted towards her friend and giving her a hug.

Barb hugged back. "Nice to see you Poppy. So, how things going you look.... bedraggled." She asked as they pulled away from the hug.

"Trust me! I'm fine!" Poppy put on a fake smile and laughed.

As Poppy went back to the desert table she shook of the smile and looked even more tired.

Once Poppy finished the desert table her legs were sore, her wrist hurt and her head began to ring. At this point, if Poppy continued she would get sick.

Poppy stepped away from the desert table and was heading towards a tree. The tree Branch was behind.

Poppy leaned against the trunk of the tree and then her legs began to wobble. She heard the ringing in her ear get louder and louder. Everything felt sore to her. She tried to hide it but she didn't do such a great job.

Just as Poppy was about to walk away from the tree, she yet again collapsed.

Before she even made contact with the ground Branch jumped into action and caught her.

Barb turned her head to see Branch and Poppy on the ground.

"Hey! Is everything okay?" Barb asked concerned for her optimistic friend.

"No, she fainted. *sigh* Can you go get me a wet cloth please?" Branch asked.

Barb went sprinting off to do as Branch told her to do.

Guy came over to Branch and Poppy.

"I wished she listened to me Guy." Branch sighed.

"I'm worried for her. I just hope she's okay." Branch finished. He held her hand and placed the back of his hand on her forehead.

"Hey, don't worry bro! She'll be fine." Guy said trying to lift up the spirit. Guy placed a hand on Branch's shoulder and smiled.

"Yeah, thanks Guy." Branch smiled back.

"Anytime bro, anytime." Guy replied.

"I'll go get Dr. Moon Bloom." Guy finished before running off to go get the doctor.

Branch looked down to Poppy and sighed. "Will she ever learn her lesson? I guess not." Branch spoke with sorrow.

Barb came back with the cloth and was panting when she got back.

"I *pant* got *pant* the *pant* cloth. Phew!" Barb said handing Branch the cloth while using her other hand to wipe the sweat on her forehead.

"Thanks Barb."

"No prob bro." Barb replied.

Dj was watching the scene in the back along with Smidge.

"They seriously are like siblings though." Dj said turning to Smidge.

"No kidding! They were playing capture the flag last week and there was a HUGE Barb and Branch scenario." Smidge said in a way the made it sound as if she was traumatized.

"Well, we aren't the only ones. Poppy even thinks they're like siblings." Dj snickered.

Poppy slowly opened her eyes to see Branch staring down at her. His lapiz ocean blue eyes looking down into her hot pink ones. But his eyes were full of worry and concern.

"B-Branch?" She asked.

"Hey Poppy." He said with relief.

Branch placed the cold cloth on her forehead and held her hand.
She groaned at the cold cloth touching her forehead.

"Poppy, I know for a fact this time you aren't okay." Branch said while his voiced cracked and ears lowered.

"I-I'm sorry Branch. I'm sorry to all of you." She said weakly.

"Poppy,why are you sorry?" Branch said in a softened tone.

The Snack Pack(not including Guy cause he went to get Dr. Moon Bloom) and Barb were around the two.

"Because I didn't listen to you. And Barb, I'm sorry but this party can't be perfect if I'm in this condition." Poppy said. She got out of Branch's arms and sat on her knees and looked down.

"Poppy,no. Don't blame yourself . We should've been helping you out. You shouldn't have to worry about so many things." Branch replied. He bent down and sat on his knees right infront of Poppy.

"I mean, you guys are the best thing that has ever happened to me. And you all deserve something amazing." She spoke as she looked away from the ground and looked at everyone around her.

"Poppy, we don't need gifts or presents. Because you are the greatest gift we have ever gotten. You help us endlessly." Branch responded.

Everyone nodded their heads in agreement. Poppy started crying. Not tears of sadness, but of happiness.

As Guy came back with Dr. Moon Bloom everyone hugged Poppy, Branch being the closest to her.

"I love you all so much." She whispered as tears fell from her face.

"We love you too." They all said in unison.

They pulled away from the hug. Dr. Moon Bloom took Poppy's temperature.

"Its a small fever. Some rest and medicine should help." Dr. Moon Bloom smiled.

"Thanks doc." Branch replied.

"Sorry I can't attend your party Barb." Poppy said sadly.

"Don't worry Popsqueak, I'll save you some cake." Barb smiled.

"Okay, see ya guys." Poppy waved goodbye. Branch lead her to her pod so she could het some rest.

"I still should've listened to you Branch." Poppy turned her head away from Branch.

"Its okay Poppy. I'm glad you'll be fine soon." He smiled.

Poppy smiled back wiping the smallest of tears from her eyes.

As they entered the pod Branch placed Poppy in bed and draped the blanket over her.

"Love you Popps." Branch whispered.

"Love you Branchifer." She smiled.

Branch kissed her forehead before she drifted off into her dreams and out of reality.

He doesnt have an account but he has read my entire oneshot book.

And he did it while calling me.

He reads through the website and apparently doesn't need an account.

This morning he said I write a lot of fluff then I said no i dont.

Him: But in every oneshot one character always needs comforting. And when they do it usually the comments are like "AWW IM GONNA CRY"
