(This takes place before Branch and Poppy start dating)

Branch knew he had developed feelings for Poppy. And he really wanted to tell her how he feels. But Branch couldn't just walk right up to Poppy and say, "Hey Poppy, I really like you. Wanna go on a date?" On some occasions, Branch considered doing that. But he felt that doing that would make him more of a fool than he already is. So Branch decided that he needed help. And he knew just who to ask.

*knock knock*

"Ehm... DJ? You home? Its Branch!" he yelled.

"Yeah, come in."

Branch opened the door to find DJ lying down on the couch rubbing her wooferbug's back. "What brings you here?" DJ asked. "Well, I like a girl and her name is Poppy and-" DJ pressed her finger against Branch's mouth and whispered, "Say no more, Blueberry." Branch cocked his head to the side, showing his confusion to his nickname. "Who is Blueberry?" He asked. "Well, since your part of the Snack Pack now, you have your very own nickname, Blueberry." DJ responded. "Anyways, let's get on with the plan." She said.

Meanwhile, Poppy was strolling through a peaceful clearing near a nice lake while humming her favorite song that Branch taught her. You see, Poppy had an intense crush on Branch. And she couldn't deny it either. Sooner or later, she was gonna have to tell Branch her feelings. Poppy continued walking until she heard voices and laughter coming from near the lake. Poppy ventured on towards the lake and hid behind a bush once she saw a blue tuft of hair and orange dreadlocks. "Branch. What's he doing with DJ." She thought.

"Thanks for chatting with me DJ. I must say that it's really helpful knowing that she already likes me." Branch said. "Yup! Now go get her tiger." DJ said gleefully. Branch and DJ stood up and and hugged before parting ways. Poppy immediately fled once she saw that Branch was heading to her direction. "Darn." Poppy thought.
Poppy ran back all the way to her pod and cried. "I knew it was to good to be true. I should have known he would never like me." She sniffled. Suddenly, she heard a knock at the door. "Poppy? It's me Branch. Can I come in?" Poppy glared at the door before hesitatingly opening it. "What do you want, Branch?" She said in between sniffles. "Woah! What's with the attitude? Did I do something to you." Branch asked.

"Yes, you did." Poppy cried. Branch was confused. What could he have possibly done to make her this sad? "Well, I can try to fix it if you tell me what's wrong." Branch said. Poppy turned to face Branch's face and said, "It's no use. I already know you love DJ so you can leave now." Branch instantly understood why Poppy was acting like this. "Poppy, were you eavesdropping on me? Are you jealous?" Branch asked awkwardly. Poppy felt heat begin rise on her face, making her look like a strawberry. "YES! I AM JEALOUS. I'M JEALOUS BECAUSE DJ STOLE MY CRUSH AND SHE KNEW I LIKED YOU!" Poppy screamed. "Woah, woah, woah, Poppy calm down. Me and DJ are only friends. We're not dating. I have feelings for you." Branch said.
Poppy swung her head around and looked at Branch. "Really?" She asked. "Yes really. Thats why I came over to ask you to be my girlfriend." A few seconds later, Branch was tackled by Poppy giving a billion kisses on his face. "Im so sorry for acting stupid. Of course I'll be your girlfriend!" Branch smiled. He got exactly what he wanted.
