That complaint is that people assume that Creek is dead, but here's the thing:

Poppy was eaten by that thing to and escaped, so that means that Creek could've escaped to in many different ways:

1. Used his hair to slingshot out like poppy

2. Ended up being digested like Poppy was from another creature without being harmed

3. Found a way to make it sneeze or cough or something so that he can be shot out

4. He told Chef to throw him out and he'll help her out (he either tricked her or not)

5. The creature threw up

See? He's not necessarily dead!

Also, I think I'm going to use this book for rants and stories... Yeah I'm gonna do that.
