"Vatsala do you even understand what you are saying?" Prativindhya questioned her. Although he seemed calm his voice was slightly shakey, and that tone was definitely not Vatsala's favorite one.

"Arya please first calm down and listen to me!" Vatsala requested him. He hated to see fear in her eyes for him, so for her sake he sat on the couch and gestured to do the same. Meanwhile, Draupadi was taken by suprise. It's true that being a part of Anga family, Vatsala will feel attached to them but despite the current situation she wants them to be invited? Observing the situation, Yudhisthir took the lead.

"Vatsala give us an acceptable explanation on why we should invite the Anga family. If it seems valid, then we will invite them. Although everyone in this room should agree to it." Yudhisthir told her.

Vatsala took a deep breath before starting,"Pitashree,I understand why all of you do not want them here. But, we have to invite them as arya Chitrasen is my husband and not inviting him to the marriage could spark rumors. They know that Anga and Indraprastha are not on good terms since a longtime due to obvious reasons but they must have also noticed the bond between arya Prativindhya and arya Chitrasen. And suddenly excluding him, from such a huge occasion will not feel it right-"

"Vatsala I understand that you want to spend time with him, it's natural because you are carrying his child," Draupadi interrupted her,"but this time we cannot listen to you."

Vatsala disagreed," No mata! That is not the reason why I want him here! We are giving it away to the people, that something was probably going on-"
"No we are not Vatsala-" Prativindhya said.

"It's funny how you are inviting Sauraj despite whatever he did last time, but not the Anga family..." Vatsala said sadly, unknowingly she had caught the right nerve. The room went silent and Prativindhya's eyes widened. They had cut ties with Saurvira kingdom long ago but after they struggled with the cotton quality of their clothes, they decided to join hands again but only for exchange of material. Realization struck him as he remembered that Sauraj had threatened the unborn child's safety. He got up and cleared his throat for attention.

"I have decided that we will invite the Anga family," Arjun was shaking his head but Prathi gestured him to listen,"I will specify in the letter that only Angraj, Angrani and Chitrasen will come. That way they will not be excluded and Chitra will look after you when I cannot." Prativindhya gave her quick smile.

"I do not think we sho-"

"Pitashree, if something goes wrong then I shall take full responsibility of it." Prativindhya assured Yudhisthir. The smile on Vatsala's face faded. Something wrong was bound to happen at the marriage and she did not want him to suffer alone. She mentally promised herself that she will suffer with him, as she saw him writing the invitations.

Vrushali stared at the invitation, while Madhura tried to comprehend what was written in it by reading her mother in law's expression. She read it twice and kept it aside, and was lost in deep thoughts. Madhura grew concerned for her and in a low voice asked, "Mata who sent this invitation and what is written in it?"

Looking at her worried eyes Vrushali caressed her cheeks and replied with a smile,"It is a marriage invitation sent by Indraprastha. They are getting Suthanu and Pragti married to the princes of Nepa kingdom. Do not worry about this, it is not good for you. We will solve it!"

Madhura was suprised,"If Suthanu and Pragti get married then anuj Shatrunjay and Sushen's hearts will-"

"Yes Madhura, they will break. As a mother I do not want that, but I cannot help them in this one. Our relations with Indraprastha are extremely complicated at this point, it will be better if I ask arya about what to do. The invitation is written by Prativindhya and he has clearly stated that Arya, Chitrasen and I should be the only ones to attend the marriage." Vrushali said.

"So they do not want the rest of us- No particularly anuj Shatrunjay and Sushen to attend the marriage. That makes sense because these boys will not keep quiet when they see their lovers get married." Madhura said.

After sometime the head maid informed Vrushali that Karna along with the boys was back after his surya puja. Just like she had requested, Karna was on the way to her room along with the boys. The tension between Karna and Vrishasen was still high and they still did not talk to each other unless it was related to the kingdom. Shatrunjay and Sushen had went mum ever since their relationship was busted. They expected their father to shout on them, maybe slap them but nothing like that happened. He was suprisingly calm and did not talk any further about it.

The twins were excluded from the talk. Vrushali did not understand where to start from, after looking at Shatrunjay and Sushen's faces. Vrishasen understand that and took the lead.

"Mata why did you call us here? Is it something urgent?"

"Yes putra,well we have an invitation from Indraprastha."Shatrunjay and Sushen immediately straightened up while Karna squinted his eyes."It seems like the Pandavas are getting Suthanu and Pragti married to the princes of Nepa kingdom-"

Before she could say anything further, Sushen banged the chamber's door and stormed out, in order to stop him Shatrunjay left as well. Chitrasen was about to stop him, but Vrishasen gestured him to wait.

"Priye, I am sure there is more to it right?" Karna asked.

"Yes arya, the reason why Prativindhya wants Chitrasen with us, it is for Vatsala's safety as Sauraj will be there. I do not understand what to do arya..." Vrushali completed.

Karna took a glance of the room and noticed the change in Chitrasen's facial expression when Vrushali mentioned Sauraj. Keeping all the points in his head Karna took a deep breath before speaking.

"Well, since mitra Duryodhana is invited then I will have to go as well. Putra Chitrasen, you should join your mata as well because this is the matter of Vatsala's safety. Madhura while we are gone, I want you to look after Rakhi. She needs you the most right now, especially in Vrushali's absence. Vrishasen, I want you to make sure that Shatrunjay and Sushen do not leave the kingdom. I do not want them to create any kind of ruckus over there. Even if we decide to make any ties with them it will not end well. And I do not want any of this to become a trouble for Vatsala." Karna completed. 

He dismissed everyone and Vrishasen felt a heavy feeling in his chest, it had been a while since Karna addressed him by his name and he knew he had to carry this responsibility properly. At the moment he wondered where his brothers were?
