The palace of Hastinapur was filled with so many joyous sounds after so many years. Bhishma was the happiest one. He hoped the gap between the Pandavas and Kauravas would be filled by their children. And he was right!

With the women folk

Draupadi -"And then Sutsom ended up eating everything! Arya Bheem couldn't say anything to him!"
Bhanumati -" Hehehe"
Vrushali -" I am suprised! Shatrunjay is the foodie one in all of us. As for Chitra and Vrisha both of them eat with Arya and once he is done, both of them would get up even their plate isn't finished. "
Gandhari -" So true. Both of them respect putra karna alot."
Yudhishthir-" Sorry ladies to interpret all of you but Mata Kunti had sent a letter."
Gandhari -" No problem putra."

Yudhishthir hands the letter to Draupadi and leaves.

Bhanumati -" What happened Draupadi what is written in it?"
Draupadi (keeping the letter back)-" Mata said she would be coming tomorrow. Poor Bhanu had to do all the arrangements today! "
Bhanumati -" Aare jiji it's fine! Anyways tomorrow Arya will do everything."
Vrushali -" So Arya and Anuj are coming tomorrow?"
Bhanumati nods, from the other side of the palace some quarrelling sound was heard. Bhanu exactly knew it was her twins. Meanwhile Durmasur comes running towards them.
Durmasur -" Kaki Bhanu bhrata Laxman and Didi are fighting again! Please come na!"
Bhanumati -" These two na, I will be back in sometime."
Draupadi nods, Bhanumati leaves with Drumasur.
Draupadi -" Druma is Bhrata Dushasan's putra right? Where is his mother?"
Vrushali looks down. The smile from Gandhari's face vanishes for a moment.
Gandhari -" Actually Putri, 5 years after the birth of Druma when Dushasan and my daughter in law were expecting another child she couldn't carry it and as a result both of them couldn't survive."

Draupadi felt guilty for asking the question. Now that she looked at him she understood why laxman was so protective with him. He never left Druma alone even for a second. The air was filled with silence. Until Snigdha came over there.

Snigdha -" Matashri did you see Arya?"
Vrushali -" He must be in the arena."
Snigdha -" Okay mata"
Draupadi -" Where are you going?"
Snigdha -" Pitashree Dhritarashtra told me to give the scroll to him."
Gandhari -" Aare then give it to me, I will go and give it. "
Vrushali -"Let me also come mata. Why don't you sit here putri with Draupadi?"

Vrushali and Gandhari leave.

Draupadi -" So how long are you in?"
Snigdha -" 7 months."
Draupadi -" How long are you and Vrishasen married?"
Snigdha -" It's been almost 3 years."
Draupadi -" How did you both get married ?"
Snigdha (smiles)-" It's actually a long story..

Flashback
3 years ago in Snigdh's kingdom

King -" Everyone here are welcome to my daughter's swayamwar!She will be the one to garland the one ,who she truly likes. Please do not create any ruckus. And I request everyone to respect her decision."

Snigdha comes in wearing a beautiful dress and a garland in her hands.
Everyone in the room was mesmerized by her beauty. Especially Dhruv, the elder prince of Vatsal.

Though none of them had any idea that she wasn't going to choose any of them. Snigdha looks up to see the first prince while her brother tells her about his accomplishments. Though when she looks up only one person catches her eye , the Anga Kumar. He was standing at the very end as a accompaniment with the eldest prince of Gandhar.

Snigdha's brother -" Do you want to garland him?"

Snigdha looks at him and nods head in disapproval. She simply walks past everyone and garlands Vrishasen. Who was suprised himself. Snigdha was in love with him regardless his caste. Vrishasen who was still suprised looked at Gandhar Kumar who simply gives him a nod of approval. The court was suprised.

King-" Putri are you sure about this?"
Snigdha -" Ji Pitashree."
King-" Does anyone in the court have a problem?"
Many of them didn't know how to answer him .
Dhruv-" I DO! HOW CAN SOMEONE NOT INVITED AT SWAYAMWAR MARRY THE PRINCESS! SHE SHOULDN'T GARLAND HIM! As far as I know this man here is the son of a sutputra whose father became the king of Anga due to the mercy of his friend! A kshtriya cannot marry a sutputra!"

Many in the court seemed convinced with his answer. The king started to have second thoughts while Snigdha's brothers tried convincing her to remove the garland... But how could she?

Vrishasen had lost it when Dhruv insulted his father. His veins were visible and his breathing was heavy and could be heard by Snigdha. Gandhar Kumar saw it and knew if he didn't take the situation under his control Vrisha will destroy everything.

Gandhar Kumar -" Kumar Dhruv! Seems like you are very mistaken about my kakashree Karn. He is the only one in the Aryavarta who has the Vijay Dhanush! He is the only one who can challenge gandharvi Arjuna. Most of the Aryavarta fears Hastinapur because This ONE Man can destroy the whole Aryavarta on his friend's request!! If anyone here still has any doubts then try to start a war with Anga and you shall get the desired result!"

( Turns towards Dhruv)

" And Kumar Dhruv you shouldn't be the one to tell the princess who she shall garland, She has seen love in my mitra's eyes not lust like many present here. "

Everyone was silent. Dhruv was burning in range.

King-" I don't doubt the valour of Angraj but would this young man like to marry my daughter?"
Vrishasen seemed to be in deep thought. He looks at Snigdha.
Vrishasen -" Ofcourse Maharaj! I would never say no to such a beauty. I am not talking about her appearance but the beauty of her heart. Despite being a kshtriya she decided to marry a sutputra. This really shows great maturity. Unlike some here.( Eyes towards Dhruv).
King-" Okay. Since I only have one daughter I don't want to split my bond with her. So the wedding shall take place."
Dhruv( takes out his sword)-. " I will not accept this at all!"

Saying so he tries grabbing Snigdha's hand but Vrishasen was too fast for him, he grabs his hand and twists it making him scream, he quickly removes his dagger and in a split second a deep cut was there on the Vatsal Kumar's eye. Snigdha's brothers tried helping him out but he refused.

Dhruv -" You both will regret this ( points at Snigdha) you will...."
He leaves with a bloody eye.... Vrishasen simply puts his hand around her shoulder and gives her a 'everything will be okay ' look.
Since that day many prince never dared challenge Vrishasen in the 100 years of their lives..

Flashback back ends

Snigdha seemed lost while telling the whole incident to Draupadi.
Draupadi ( shakes her)-" Are you okay?"
Snigdha-" huh? Yeah ofcourse!"
Draupadi -" Isn't your lovestory really romantic?"
Snigdha(blushes hard)-" Hmm. "

Looking at her reaction Draupadi couldn't help but laugh she hoped her putras would bring such daughter-in-laws to her.
