I toss and turn,
Over and over again.
Hugging a pillow under
My blanket,
I want down the
Memory lane.

My thoughts,
They consume me,
Like the soil consumes
The rain.
Another sleepless night,
Might drive me insane.

I'm numb,
Yet I feel the pain.
I feel like I've lost my
Best friend.

But a friend would
Be honest, isn't it?
Wouldn't play with your heart.
A friend wouldn't lie,
Right from the start.

I know nothing...whatever
His reasons may be
That surely he knew his
Actions would
Hurt me?
