Gay marriage.

When i was born, such thing would of been frowned on.

Now, though.

Its allowed.

And I'm asking Will, tonight. We've both gone through two wars, and he saved me. I love him more than anything.

Will and I have been dating for 5 years. And tonight, I'm going to ask him to marry me.

We won't have a party, maybe just celebrate it by seeing a movie with our friends. Nothing fancy.

I sat down next to Will, who was on the couch watching TV. While he was so focused on the TV i noticed everything about him that goes unnoticed.

The way Will just smelled nice.

The way Will just smiled without thinking.

The way Will would breath, so careless and relaxed. And how he breathed in every 4 seconds.

"Will," I asked, moving onto the floor, pulling out the ring "Will you marry me?"

Will pulled me into a big hug and kissed me. "Yes!"

Their wedding day (A few wee later)

So Will decided we should celebrate, but we also needed to set up a party.

When all of our friends arrived, Percy, who married Annabeth, joked "Kiss!" Suddenly, they all started to chant "Kiss! Kiss!"

So Will pulled me close and we slowly leaned in. Just as our lips where about to touch, my head jumped off the pillow.

I looked to the other side of the bed that was made and untouched.

I couldn't remeber the way Will smelled.

I couldn't remember his bright, shiny smile that he wore so well.

I couldn't remember the way Will would breath peacefully.

But what i could remember was the smell of death he was covered in 15 years ago.

I could remember the lack of emotion his dead body wore at the funeral.

I could remember how sharp and short his last breaths were.

What i wished to remember i couldn't.

What i dreamed to forget i remembered.

What i dreamed to never lose, left.
