Owlpaw POV

Owlpaw sighed as Boulderstar looked down at him.

"Is it true, Owlpaw? Did you intentionally scare off prey?" Boulderstar questioned.

"Of course not." Owlpaw shook his head,"I'm sorry, I tripped and-"

"Don't worry, Owlpaw. I believe you." Boulderstar assured him, padding towards Shadowflower.

Owlpaw looked down at his paws, his mum wasn't going to be happy that something like this happened again. Why was he so unlucky!?

"Owlpaw!" Pebblepaw purred, jumping onto him.

Owlpaw was taken by surprise as his sister knocked him over.

"Not now, Pebblepaw." He sighed, trying to roll out from under her.

"Why not?" Pebblepaw asked, keeping Owlpaw pinned.

"Beepaw told Boulderstar that I scared away the mouse she was trying to catch intentionally." Owlpaw sighed.

"Well, did you?"

"Of course I didn't!"

"Ignore her then, Beepaw's just a mousebrain." Pebblepaw got off him.

"But she's not, she's nice." Owlpaw stood up.

"Not if she treats you like this." Pebblepaw curled her tail around him,"I'll always protect you, don't worry."

"Thanks Pebblepaw." Owlpaw rested against her.
