We didn't land anywhere. Just flew around Night City. We were probably going to have a conversation that was meant only for certain ears. It's silent in the AV. I was trying to figure out why I had to kill someone.

I turn away from the amazing view and throw glance at my grandfather.

"Who am I meant to kill?" I breath out.

"A netrunner by the name of T-Bug, she has been causing problems in Arasaka Corporation since day one. Private information has been leaked by her, we need her gone...permanently," Takemura clarifies. My grandfather nods, confirming everything that has just been said.

"She is working alongside Jackie Welles. We fear that tonight they will strike again. If Jackie Welles is at Afterlife, this means that you must move fast," Takemura finishes. He takes out a computer and hands it to me.

"We need you to find her location," I sigh at Takemura's words. I turn on the computed and grab my cybermodem and jack into it then I connect it to the computer.

"Sending you her profile now," His eyes flash. I feel a slight ping and all T-Bug's information appears in front of my vision.

"I'm guessing she is a very private person if this is all the information I see," I state. T-Bug must be a pretty good netrunner if there aren't specifics about her.

"That's where you come in," My grandfather turns to me.

"So I need to find her, sounds simple enough," I remember what I learnt when trying to find Jackie Welles. This will be a piece of cake.

"We also need you to hack into Misty Olszewski's tracking device and find out Jackie and T-Bug's intentions," Takemura tells me. Did I say piece of cake? I take back my words.

"I-uh I don't know how to do that..." I whisper, hoping my grandfather doesn't get upset at that fact. He chuckles and places a comforting hand on my shoulder.

"You know how to do that Y/n, you are a great netrunner just like your mother. All you have to do is tap into that," I bow my head slightly.

"I won't let you down grandfather,"

It takes me a couple of tries but I manage to find a way to tap into my potential. As my grandfather mentioned. All I had to do was unlock the biochip that I never knew I had, which was in my cybermodem. I begin quickhacking into Misty's personal biochip.

I'm finally in. I overhear Misty speaking.

"I don't think you should take this job Jackie...breaking into one of the most fortified buildings in Night City is risky," Misty sounds unnerved.

"Babe it's alright. T-Bug, V and myself have this in the bag."

Jackie Welles. So he is on a call with Misty. Interesting. I listen further.

"As soon as we are done with this heist. We hitting the major leagues and I'm taking you far away from Night City....I hear Mexico is great this time around," He chuckles. A sentimental man. How dangerous for a mercenary.

"It's not funny Jackie, what if you get hurt--"

"I'm bulletproof," Jackie laughs it off.

"No one is bulletproof?!" She shouts.

"Misty calm down alright!" Jackie says in frustration.

"I'll calm down when you stop doing stupid jobs that can kill you!" Misty sighs angrily.

"Seriously, I can't back out now babe--"

"--Yo Jackster, we have to get ready to head to Konpeki Plaza, place the flathead in the trunk of the car. T-Bug said she'll be at the safe house in case we run into any trouble," Another voice cuts in. I manage to decrypt the voice but no luck. It's a male voice but that's all I have.

"I have to go, I'll see you lat--" Misty ends the call and I log out as well. Takemura looks at me expectantly as well as my grandfather.

"Jackie Welles, T-Bug and some person named V, will be breaking into Konpeki Plaza, something called a Flathead was mentioned as well....T-Bug is at a safehouse, I'm not sure where though," I shift in my seat. It makes complete sense as to why my mother wanted me to find Jackie Welles. They plan on breaking into one of my family's hotels.

My grandfather gives me a pleased look and Takemura seems relieved. Which I am too. Who knows what would have happened if we didn't find this information.

"Take us to Little China...the other side," My grandfather says to the A.I that controls the AV. The way he said it makes me feel slightly uncomfortable. I turn to Takemura curiously. He notices it.

"We already knew all the information and T-Bug's location, this was a test, set up by Hanako-san and Saburo-sama," I sigh when Takemura says this.

Why am I being tested so many times.

I find the location of T-Bug at last. My grandfather said he had to go and speak with uncle Yorinobu. Probably about what he discussed to me earlier this morning.

I grab my pistol and make sure it's loaded. This would be the first time I'll be using a gun and killing someone. A voice stops on the other side of the door. T-Bug. I quickly hack into her cybermodem. Hopefully she glitches out.

"Should see a ladder...ladder..o--" she curses out.

"No, no, no, no...not now...!" She yells nervously.

It worked. However I don't have time to celebrate.

"I've been made!" I barge in and aim my pistol at her computer and shoot. Just to make sure she can't contact anyone since she is jacked into the computer.

She screams out once she sees me and rushes for her weapon. However I shoot her leg and she screams again as she falls to the ground. I click my tongue at her and walk towards her.

"It's been a real pain to find you T-Bug..." I circle around her. She tried to move away but cries in pain from the gun wound.

"Were you talking to Jackie Welles?" I bend down and stare at her.

"Not your business," she snarls at me. I shake my head at her and take a seat at the desk she sat by.

"Well...when you break into my family's hotel...that makes it my business," I roll my eyes on annoyance. For once can people just give me information without me having to threaten them. T-Bug's eyes widen when I  mentioned that I'm an Arasaka.

I sigh in frustration and walk towards her wounded leg.

"Still not going to tell me who you where taking to and what you were doing?" I ask her with a raised eyebrow. She doesn't answer me as she looks at me with hate.

I press a finger on her bullet wound. She screams at the pain. Although she answers. Smart choice.

"When your grandfather built a powerful biochip, a scam probably, everyone in the world wanted to steal it so a fixer named Dexter DeShawn hired me, Jackie and V to steal it,"  I release my finger from her wound. She releases a painful breath. My mind fills with confusion.

My grandfather never mentioned this.

"What biochip is this?" She doesn't answer. I slowly move my finger to her bullet wound once again and shock fills her eyes.

"A relic, that's all I know, now let me go," I sigh and stand up. She looks relieved.

"Thanks for your cooperation," I shoot her in the head.

Minutes later I arrive at the parking garage and one car is there waiting for me.

Once I'm in the car the A.I turns on.

"Destination Konpeki Plaza, shall I turn the news on Ms Arasaka?" The A.I asks politely.

"Why not," I agree. Maybe I could learn something interesting that's happening. The news goes on and the car begins to auto drive to our destination.

"Just in, two mercenaries have broken into Konpeki Plaza, other sources state that Saburo Arasaka has been injured during the heist....oh wait...he has been killed...oh my.." My eyes widen at the news reporter's words.

"Get to Konpeki Plaza the quickest way!!"

I run out the vehicle. It seems that the Plaza is on lockdown. The only thoughts that race through my mind is that I have to find my grandfather and to kill Jackie Welles with his accomplice, V.

The front doors are sealed shut, the parking garage is the only other way in.

Once I enter the parking garage, it's a battlefield. Bullets are being fired at everyone. I notice there are two figures bending behind a cover. One face peaks out.

Jackie Welles.

With the intention of walking towards him, aim at the ready. A Delamin car cuts me off. Jackie Welles runs towards the car and another person, most probably V. However I can't identify his face clearly.

Before Jackie Welles enters the car, I aim my gun directly at his stomach. He deserves a slow, painful death for killing my grandfather. Once they are both in the car, it speeds off. However three Arasaka drones follow them.

The gunshots stop and my uncle exits the elevator. Adam Smasher is alongside him. His personal guard.

The large robot walks towards me and roughly grabs my arm. I look at my uncle, a disappointed look is on his face.

"You are arrested for taking part in the murder of Saburo Arasaka and are hereby sentenced to death," Shock fills my body and confusion clouds my mind.

"Wh-what! No!" He turns from me while Adam Smasher drags me away from him.

Once I'm outside, Adam Smasher punches me in the face. That's going to leave a mark.

"It's a shame, we could have had something special," His disgusting voice fills my ears. I chuckle, ignoring the pain coming from my cheek.

"Ask your mom first," I breath out. A gun cocks and I'm faced with the end of a gigantic barrel of a large gun.

"And there I thought of perhaps making you live," I slowly reach for my pistol and shoot him in the head. Nothing happens, but he gets stunned for moment. So this robot is made of steel. Nice.

I take this chance and run away trying to find a hiding spot. Which I do. Once I'm clearly hidden, I find a way off the Konpeki Plaza premises.

My car stops on front of me. The door slides open. Yoshi is inside. I enter hurriedly in the passenger seat and we drive off.

"My grandfather is...dead. I-I didn't hurt him...I swear," My voice shakes.

"I know, but right now we need to get to Watson, you are less likely to be found there," Yoshi says calmly. I can clearly see he is on edge since he is speeding.

"Okay..." I take in deep breaths.

"I have a place in Watson, you can hide out--" An explosion capsizes the car. Pain rushes through my veins. I turn to Yoshi, his eyes are closed. Blood rushes down his face.

"Yoshi, we have...to...get..out of here," I say inbetween breaths. The pain makes it difficult to speak. Yoshi doesn't move. I feel for a pulse. My body freezes.

He's dead.

My eyes water but I don't have to to time grieve now. I exit the car and police sirens fill the air. I'm the distance I see the NCPD vehicles approach.

Wasting no time, I run into a nearby alley and hide behind a large trashcan.

Once they are done investigating the scene I hear one heavily armed policeman speak.

"Mr Arasaka, she isn't here.." The rest of his words are inaudible as the sounds of AVs approach. One thought enters my mind.

I have to get out of here.
