The amusement park visitors leave the park on a Thursday night. One person (Maddie) has been outside the gates, hidden, for 20 minutes, in a soft, big bush. When everybody has come out and the guard is going to lock the park, Maddie comes out of the bush, with a raccoon mask covering her face, making scary noises with her voice, to get the guards' attention. He turns around and walks to the bush but he can't find anyone. Maddie sneaks in, quietly, and closes the gates from inside. It's too late for the guard to stop her, though he runs to the gates. She has already locked them and is running towards the rollercoasters. The guard groans.

- No!

Maddie carries a big backpack filled with screwdrivers, hammers and a saw. She goes to the rollercoasters, one at a time, and changes one little thing in every rollercoaster, so that they are going to stop working when people ride them. When she's done, she hides in a tourist shop in the amusement park. She goes into a room that only employees can enter, and locks herself in, with the help of a chair that she puts under the door handle. She turns on the light in the room.

The guard sighs deeply, standing outside the amusement park.

- I may lose my job...

He walks away from the park.

The next day, some visitors in the amusement park are looking around and some of them run to the roller coasters they want to ride. At first, it goes well and everybody is screaming happily. But suddenly, one by one gets thrown off the roller coasters, while screaming, horrified. One of the employees sees what's going on and screams.

- Don't get into the rollercoasters! No more riding!

Maddie picks up a megaphone in the employee room.

- You are now hypnotized, and forced to follow my commands.

Everybody in the amusement park stands still.

- You are not going to care about anything that happens when people around you get hurt. Is that clear? Don't care about the broken rollercoasters either.

Everybody nods. Maddie snaps her fingers. She already knew that they were going to nod, because she has tried hypnosis on people before. Everybody strolls around happily, as if nothing had happened. Maddie goes out from the employee room with her raccoon mask on. She started to wear the mask a year ago. She used it not to get recognized, stealing candy from candy shops. But now, she wants to be known for something bigger. She may even appear in the news magazines for this evil deed, in the end.

When she strolls around in the amusement park, she sees an old classmate; Joanna. She was the most respected classmate of them all when she started in Maddie's high school. Maddie was very jealous of her. She had everything Maddie ever wanted. And what Joanna herself wanted. Everybody liked her. So, one day, Maddie told the teacher that Joanna cheated when she caught Joanna looking at another friends' paper all the time. Joanna got really mad. Maddie doesn't want Joanna to know that she is there. But why would she notice her when she has the raccoon mask on? Joanna hangs out with two of her friends from high school. It looks like they've just came to the amusement park.They point at things, like, rollercoasters, clothing stores and restaurants.

Maddie walks, sneakily, away from them. She hears quiet talking about her, from them.

- That girl has a cute mask.

- Maybe she works here.

- I wonder what she REALLY looks like.

Maddie gasps. What if they already knows her secret? "I wonder what she REALLY looks like." As if they were sarcastic or something.

She walks faster. But then, she starts to walk a little bit slower, since they probably can guess who she is even more because she seems to be like their enemy when she walks fast.

Maddie and Joanna had a running contest in high school, but Maddie lose because Joanna's best friend (one of the girls that Maddie saw), put glue under Maddie's shoes in secret, when she was on her running place beside Joanna. Either Maddie or Joanna knew it until she told it to Maddie, who told it to Joanna. She didn't believe her. Maddie got even more mad at Joanna.

So, because of what happened, she decided that she would be known for something evil after high school. And that's exactly what's going to happen. Maddie can't wait until they discover it. Even if she came to prison, she would be glad because of her smiling face in the newspapers. The revenge that she'd only dreamt of.

Maddie decides to follow and spy on them when they ride the scariest roller coaster in the whole amusement park.
