Sara followed them outside the forest to the Capitol and all of them were in cloaks. They went on a roof. After a couple hours of waiting the sun went down and they saw guards running and chasing a little girl. The girl was crying and had bruises all over her.
"You can't escape us!" One guard yelled
Soon the girl backed up into a corner and the guards caught up with her.
"That is why you should never run" one said
The girl did not want to go back so she punched the man in the face. He didn't budge so he just laughed.
"HAHAHA do you think a little girl like you can hurt me" he laughed as he grabbed her arm "come on let's have some fun"
"No no no no no please leave me alone I want to go home. Please" the girl was sobbing now
"Aw come on why should a pretty girl like you cry" the guard said
Before Sara could react Daniel jumped down and slit two of the men's throat. The last one was running holding the girl. Daniel started running and his eyes started to glow. The man took a glance at Daniel and looked back up to meet a wall. The wall appeared out of no where the girl went flying into the air and landed in Daniel's arm.
"T-thank y-you" the girl said
Daniel took of his hood and said "no problem. Where are your parents"
Turns out the girl's parents lived in the inner district meaning that they had to go near the center of the Capitol.

They managed to stay undercover until they reached her house. Her parents were outside looking everywhere worried and terrified. When they finally spotted her they showed a sign on relief and soon it was replaced with a smirk.
"Look. It's the alphas." The mother said
"Well ain't it Sara too. I thought your parents gave you up. Wow I thought you died since you had no powers. Well I was wrong. Your sister is much better than you. She actually helps the cause. Now your just playing with the bad kids."
"SHUT UP!" Sara screamed
"Hope sweetie come here" the father replied
"Gladly father"
"After we saved your life this is how you repay us?!" Mia shouted
"Saved my life? Ha you thought. I thought you people were smart. This is all a trap and now you can't escape"
Soon bars came from the ground and closed in on them. They were stuck in a cage.
"Shoot" Zach muttered
Everyone was literally freaking out. Daniel just sat there. Emily was shaking him. This continued for about a few seconds until the cage broke open.
"HUH?!" Everyone screamed
Daniel just looked at them and gave the duh face.
"The bars came from the ground" he said
Now guards came from every angle. Everyone got in their fighting stances. The fight went on for a few minutes and they were winning. Sara wasn't looking when the guard snuck up behind her. Before he touched her, Daniel came and she saw him give the signal to run. Everyone ran and Sara could clearly see the guard stab Daniel in the leg. Luckily Brian grabbed him.

They reached the base and Daniel was rushed to the infirmary. Lindsey and Logan were yelling and grabbing things. The rest just sat there outside waiting for him.
When the twins came out, Sara ran in to see Daniel reading a book.
"Hey"
"Daniel are you okay?" Sara asked
"Yeah"
"Thank god"
Daniel smiled and after a few minutes of talking everyone went to bed.
As Sara slept she had that image of Daniel shielding her from the guard. She could feel her heart race.
