Chained

All Sakura could see was a dark murky black that seemed to engulfed her vision, trapping and consuming her mind. Ah... the cold is seeping into my veins what is this odd feeling? Sakura just stared at the dark walls around her, she could barely feel anything as she stood up to "Explore" the dark area she was trapped in. Chains hung around the corridor and the floor was a broken tile covered in a strange blue goop. The small girl crouched as she touched the little runes engraved in the walls as she looked around her, the chains were dark like obsidian and her body seemed cold, maybe from the empty corridor

Standing up from the floor she started to walk, following the wall as she observed her surroundings with a keen eye, her hands touched the little nooks and crannies of the rough yet smooth wall. Her footsteps made a loud echo that bounced off the walls creating an eerie wail from the darkness behind her. slowly she walked before coming in contact with a colossal room, little orbs of light was floating along the walls and ceiling giving the large space an empty glow yet the rosette could feel it, a soft hum and a strong pull to the back of the room. Suddenly a low growl echoed within the room as a low blue emanated from the middle of the room making Sakura widen her eyes as her heart stung with a great pain making her fall as her head began to hurt making her softly whimper.

A low voice growled out as the room lit up in a dark blue, chains rattled and a snarl lashed out, teeth gnashed and eyes bent in a hellish fury of being restrained. When Sakura raised her head she saw... him. His eyes were cruel as his ebony locks swayed from the slight breeze that circulated the freezing room, the chilling voice muffled by a mask as the chains wrapped around his body. A large paper seal on the chain right in the middle of his bare chest.

"W-who are you?" Sakura stammered as she slowly inched closer, the color from her face draining slightly from the menacing glare the boy sent to her between the chains, His face distorted to a simple sneer as he struggled against the chains, his blue eyes glowed with fury as he snarled at her.

Sakura walked up a bit closer, noting, that she was feeling a strange feeling. A creeping fear that washed her body, drowning her in the cold substance as she observed the boy, his glossy black hair was disheveled before he huffed, giving up on struggling. Sakura was too close now, so close that she could see the clear ivory skin of his, to touch the sealing paper on the chains. Stroking the paper she reached up and slowly removed the boy's black gas mask making him stare unnervingly at her.

"Hello.... What's your name?" her small voice grew a bit louder as she fought the chill crawling up her arms.

"What's it to you?" The boy sneered at her yet she found that his voice flowed like silk and was melodious despite his nasty glare.

"I just want to know...How I got here, where is here, and who you are." Sakura murmured as she sat down on the cold tiled floor, staring him in the eyes.

"How the fuck should I know..."

"Well..you are the only one here as far as i'm concerned."

"...tch"

"So.." she piqued again "What's your name?"

"Kiyoshi...Kiyoshi Hibiki" The boy muttered as he stared right down at her, his eyes empty with his cold demeanour set on his pale face.

"Soundless Echo hmm?" Sakura hummed as she poked his leg making him flinch. "So why am I here." she chirped making him scowl.

"you're on the verge of death mortal." he muttered lowly.

"My name is Sakura." she smiled at him, fake yes but a smile nonetheless.

"Just Sakura?" Kiyoshi asked quietly making her nod "You lie... you have a surname do you not?"

"I...Don't wish to talk about that." She murmured softly as a shadow was cast over her eyes. Kiyoshi gave her a hard stare before sighing, he was extremely uncomfortable in his large chains that trapped him to the center of the room.

Sakura suddenly stood up as grabbed the seal holding Kiyoshi to the chains making him curiously stare at her in wonder, his blue eyes slightly widened as a loud rip echoed through the room and a bright light engulfed both of their visions making colors bleed into vision. suddenly Sakura opened her eyes to feel something restraining her as she struggled against her bonds.

suddenly she could hear it, loud sobbing and shouting. Her body felt like lead but she forced the bile coming out of her throat to retreat back to her stomach as she slowly sat up, noting that her hands were up against her chest in a cross formation and she was wrapped in tight bandages. Her vision slightly blurred as she took in a furious blonde shouting at a man while the man held a torch, the orange light blinding her slightly as she tried to tear the restraints from her.

"HOW DARE YOU KAKASHI?! DON'T YOU EVEN DARE SETTING THAT THING NEAR HER BODY!" Naruto's voice screamed out as a low growl rose from his throat.

"Naruto! We have to! she's dead.,."

"No she isn't! leave her alone!"

"She is! she took a chidori through her chest... I...I'm sorry but we have to burn her." Kakashi was solemn as he tried to calm the boy down.

"No fucking way!" Naruto spat out as he ran over to the restrained body hugging her "Dead" body close.

Sakura was groggy as she ripped the bandage apart, the loud noise alerting the two shinobi that were standing in the room as they let a low yet audible gasp escape their lips.

"H-how?"

"S-Sakura?" Kakashi's low whisper reached the girl's ears as she tore the bandage away and wobbly stood on her legs, her whole body ached as she shuddered from the pain. Naruto was instantly holding her up against his body as he rubbed her back gently, helping tear off the lingering cloth so she could walk again. The girl simply rubbed her groggy eyes as the room seemed to become more defined, little details became sharper as she tilted her head.

"Why was I wrapped up?" She asked softly, her monotonous voice faltering a bit.

"W-we I... I thought you died." Kakashi stammered as he put the torch he had out, the flames dying away as he scratched his cheek.

"You planned to burn me?" She glared at her teacher as he made a sheepish shrug of his shoulders.

Sakura rolled her eyes as she stared up at Naruto who had his face scrunched up in worry, his eyes were fading from a bloody red to his normal blue eyes, he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her close to his toned chest making her blink.
She rubbed his back and her eyes widened feeling tremors coming from his body, she could feel her shoulder get soaked as her heart seemed to pound loudly in her ears, she hugged him close as she buried her face into the crook of his neck making him melt.
"What happened to Zabuza?" She asked him softly making him stiffen a bit.

"Zabuza is unconscious right now with Haku tending to his wounds he got from you and Kakashi." Naruto mumbled into her shoulder, his voice was hoarse as he kept rubbing her back.

"I see... and Sasuke?"

"That teme is in the next room being a broody Mr. stick up his ass" Naruto lowly chuckled making his chest vibrate against hers.

"As always."

"Ahem....?" Kakashi gave a cough as he was looking at the wall to avoid their gaze. "Sorry to interrupt but since we finished the mission and everything, we should head home." The silver haired man smiled behind his mask.

"What about team eight?" Sakura asked quietly as she peered at the "adult"

"They headed back early before the fight even started at the great bridge." Kakashi murmured as he shrugged again.

Sakura tried to escape Naruto's hug but found out that he was latched onto her with an iron grip.
"No I'm never letting you leave my sights." Naruto growled darkly and he huffed with a pout.

"Naru..... I need to change." Sakura peered up at him with a questionable stare.

"..... so? You change in front of me all the time." Naruto stated as he stared at her. Kakashi coughed louder.
"If you don't like it Kakashi leave you asshole."

Sakura sighed rubbing her head until she noticed something encircling her pale wrist, it was a small black bracelet with a rose icon.
Yet the emblem didn't scare her.... it was the design of the bracelet.

The metal, the cold black metal

Was black chain links.
