Everyone decided to go to Granny's, Peter went home to his parents on the way. They were hungry and wanted to go out for a bit. Henry stayed with Killian and Emma who both had a sort of weapon on them. They got their food and ate, laughing and joking around, Killian and Emma where both still very on guard though. "Can I go to the park mum??" Henry asked, Emma was unsure and it was clear "I don't know Henry, Neal's still out there" she stated "but mum, we can't live in fear forever, I'm safer now then I was 2 months ago" he had a point, Killian cut in "how about I go with the lad Swan?? That way he's not on his own" Emma slowly nodded "okay...but be careful and stay safe, call if anything happens". The two boys left and walked to the park, they both sat on the swings "you okay Henry??" Killian asked earning a nod "yeah, I'm fine...you okay?" the teen asked, also earning a nod "I'm alright, worried for your mother and yourself but I'm fine". They swing for a while longer in silence until Henry sighed "Killian??" the man looked at him "yes lad??" the boy took his time to talk and Killian patiently listened, he seemed to struggle with his words "have you ever...felt like to make something better...is to just...vanish??" he asked but the teacher didn't really understand. "Em...sorry Henry, but I don't believe I follow what you're saying" the kid sighed again "to make something better, you feel you have to leave" Killian began to understand. "Em...not that I can think of...why?? Do you feel like that??" he sure hoped not but Henry slowly nodded "oh Henry, why would you feel like that??" he asked. The kid looked down "mum would of been able to leave Neal years ago if I wasn't around, and Neal wouldn't be scaring my mum to death and giving her nightmares!" Henry exclaimed, surprising the man "none of this is your fault Henry, Neal's the one to blame here" he informed but Henry just looked away "I know it isn't my fault...but sometimes...I just feel like if I wasn't around...mum would be safe". After hearing this, Killian for off of his swing and crouched down in front to the boy "now you listen to me Henry Swan...your mum would rather live in pure fear then not have you in her life, she loves you...and I promise I'll protect your mother and yourself...even if it means my own life is in danger" once he heard that, Henry turned his head to his teacher "...you love her, don't you??" he stated in shock, Killian smiled "yeah, I do". They both smiled "just so you know...I approve" they chuckled "good to hear".
