"I NEVER WANTED KITS!" a female cat screamed, her pelt fluffed up, "Just feed them! we can kill them in one moon. No more, and no less.." the females mate growled at the two kits, "call them Hatred and Unloved." the female growled laying down, sadly the male heard every word. 'Were not loved? what does mama mean? I can worry tomorrow.' the kit thought.

Half a moon later

"YOU TWO STUPID MOUSEBRAINS! BRING US FOOD!" the kits father yelled at Hatred and Unloved as the two ran inside and brung their parents their food. aka a squirrel and a water vole. Hatred and Unloved quickly walked out. "Hope-" "Hope?" Unloved cut her brother off, "Your new name! don't say it around mother and father though, they'll kill us!" Hatred said.

"Alright! Broken!" Hope said as Broken didn't say a thing as they walked to the cave, "OUTSIDE!" Father yelled and the siblings scurried outside and made a nest to sleep in. they went to sleep full of sadness..
