Author's P.O.V.
After the two agents left the room and the hero stayed alone with his friends, he sighed. "I don't know if I should tell them..." He rubbed his face as he let Tails take care of his wounds. "It's better if I tell them but I am not so comfortable just telling everyone the truth about me..." The hero mumbled as he tried to get his friend's opinions about this.

He knew it would be better if they knew the truth, that way they would see how to help him with his family or they could be checking in on them but he also felt uncomfortable telling then he is a prince. Nothing bad could get out of telling them, not anymore at least. Now everyone hated Sonic so they wouldn't care if he was a prince or not. He glanced at everyone in hopes they would help.

"I think you should tell them. You've been carrying that secret for so long. They can help you, Sonic." Tails said softly as he finished bandaging him.

"I agree with Tails." Amy nodded. "They are both trying to help us. Well... Rouge is trying..." She rolled her eyes as she remembered what Shadow had told Sonic. "Shadow might even be more respectful towards you."

"I know that he's acting tough, but we're in his house, don't you think that's a big move for someone like Shadow?" Knuckles added, he had finally calmed down with Amy's help. "I mean, it'd be difficult for me to have all of you at my place. Alone."

Sonic sighed and slowly nodded. "I guess you're right... I need to tell them then... Can you call them in?" He asked Tails who simply nodded and left. After a minute or two, the 3 of them came back in the room. "You wanted to know where I was at, I'll tell you if you promise me you'll keep it a secret from everyone, and I mean it, not even G.U.N. knows about this." He looked up at Shadow and Rouge. "Deal?"

Rouge nodded at Sonic's response. She was even more curious and slightly concerned about this once he said G.U.N. doesn't know. "I promise, Hun." She looked at Shadow hoping he would agree too, but all he did was look at Sonic, telling him to keep talking.

"Promise!" Amy glared at him, not caring if she was rude or not.

"Shut up." The Ultimate Lifeform rolled his eyes. "No asked you."

Sonic nodded. "It's okay Ames. Calm down." He sighed and rubbed his arm being a bit uncomfortable to tell them this. "I was at Queen Aleena's castle." He confessed.

"What? Hun, that's dangerous, if Aleena is to see you, she will tell G.U.N." She shook her head. "Why were you there in the first place?"

"Because I'm one of Aleena's son, Prince Maurice." He finally said it and his friends stayed quiet, waiting for their reactions.

Shadow was shocked, but his expression was the same, he was panicking in his head, thinking that he was in even more trouble for helping them. "You're not leaving my house again, not until we fix this"

"But he said-" Rose spoke up, trying to support her boyfriend but she was cut off by Shadow's glare.

"I don't give a damn. This is my house, my rules."

"I need to make sure my family is okay, Shadow." He stood up not caring about the pain in his leg or that Tails had told him that he couldn't stand up. "I don't care what I have to do, but I will go and make sure they are okay." He said with a growl.

"Sonic! You can't stand up!" Tails got mad at him and made him sit down. "You're leg is already bad as it is, if you run or stand up, it will get worse." He tried to convince his best friend but all he did was glare at his rival.

"Faker." Shadow growled lowly, in a very threatening way. "You listen to me, or else I'll break all your bones and tie you on the bed. If you leave this damn house and get captured, I will be punished in the wor-" He was quickly cut off by Rouge.

"Hun, you are putting everyone in danger when you leave this house, I believe it's better if you listen to us and stay here." She said softly and calmly. "How about this? I'll make sure they're okay, while you heal and let Shadow fix this problem."

Sonic looked at Rouge and slowly nodded. "Thanks, Rouge." The hero said softly. He had figured out his family was acting odd when he would go. "They've been acting strange, not themselves at all. It's weird. That's why I've been checking in on them a lot." He looked up at them, he hadn't told Tails or Amy about this either.

"What do you mean?" Tails asked confused as he sat beside his best friend being both curious and confused.

"Sonia and Manic, they are the ones who have been acting even more strange than Chuck and Aleena. I even went to see Princess Sally..." He hoped Amy wouldn't make a big deal about going to see his ex. "It's as if they are robots but as soon as they see me, they start shouting and trying to attack, pure hatred." He explained.

"That is indeed strange..." Rouge nodded and looked at her best friend. "I'll go see it myself, you stay here and take care of our friends." she waited for him to nod, but he shook his head.

"It'll be too suspicious, wait for a day or two and then you can go, also, we don't have the right to go there, unless the Commander assigns us a mission." The black hedgehog crossed his arms and glanced at Rose, who was pouting but he didn't care about her so he just ignored it. "We'll fix this tomorrow..."

Sonic looked at Rose after he saw Shadow glance at her. "If it's because of Sally, I'm sorry." He had been wanting to break up with Amy but he didn't have the guts to do it. Especially when all of this was going on. The hero looked back at the agents and tossed Rouge a key. "You may want to go in through my room window. That key opens any room in the castle. Two doors to the left of my room is a camera room so you can check in on them through there. It has no window but it does have a hidden door inside the closet, use it if someone walks in. But Shadow is right, you may want to wait."

He looked at Shadow then back at Rouge. "I've been going on the same day every week, because they seem to forget and do the same. It's as if they are robots, Rouge. They do the same routine every week and it restarts every week. I'm worried about them." He lowered his ears, making her lower her ears as well.

"Don't worry Hun, we'll help you." She held his shoulder. "Get some rest now, we'll be in the living room if you need us." She looked at the young fox. "Will you stay here with Sonic?"

Tails nodded. "I will." His stomach growled as he said that. "Actually, I'm a little hungry." he smiled sheepishly, making everyone laugh, except Shadow of course.
