Author's P.O.V. 
"You should get some rest, Shadow…" The azure prince said softly to his boyfriend and pecked his lips as he purred.

"I'm fine. Really." The dark one shook his head, he had calmed down and was breathing normally. "I'm sorry that you had to cancel your plans." He chuckled quietly and laid down on the bed. 

The azure one chuckled softly at what he said. "You didn't seem to care when Tails called." He stayed sitting down not sure if he should lay down or not. "It's okay, I'll go later."

"Because I didn't." The agent grabbed his boyfriend's arm and pulled him to lay down next to him. "Do you want me to heal your hickeys?" 

Sonic gasped when he got pulled down and chuckled then nodded. "Yes, if I go to the castle like this, everyone will start questioning me." 

Shadow hummed and hugged his boyfriend from behind then rested his head on his back as he purred. "Maybe later." He had a strong grip around him making the smaller one purr louder. 

He nodded at what he said, he didn't want Shadow to waste his energy on him when he was already weak.

Shadow buried his face in Sonic's quills and closed his eyes. "How are you feeling?" 

The azure one tensed up lightly then purred even louder at what his boyfriend was doing. He smiled softly. "Amazing." He let Shadow even though he wanted to turn around and hug him but he was also comfortable this way. He closed his eyes and purred for Shadow.

The Ultimate Lifeform hummed and lightly nuzzled the Prince then turned him around to face him. "I'm glad." 

Sonic smiled and nuzzled his muzzle as he purred. He was lightly blushing since he never thought he would be with Shadow this way. 

Shadow purred softly and hugged his boyfriend's waist then kissed him gently, he loved the feelings it caused him. The hero's ears perked up at this and smiled softly then kissed back. 

Sonic purred lovingly in the kiss, he knew they had taken things way too fast but to be fair, they were the fastest hedgehogs alive. They weren't kids either, they knew what they were doing and Sonic knew he could trust Shadow. 

The azure prince wrapped his arms around his neck as he kissed his boyfriend, which made the dark hedgehog deepen the kiss. He knew what he felt was going to change him, but for some reason, he didn't care. 

The smaller one pulled away for air after a while and purred lovingly at Shadow then smiled at him. 

"You should probably go to Miles. You weren't convincing at all earlier." Shadow chuckled. 

"I know." The azure one tried to sit up. "But that was because you wouldn't stop." He tried to sit up.

"Not my fault he called." The agent scoffed and wrapped his arms around Sonic's waist then started healing his hickeys. 

The prince purred softly and rolled his eyes at what he said. "You were supposed to stop if someone calls." He chuckled and pecked his lips. He loved kissing him, he had never felt this way before and he loved it, it was different with Shadow. "I'll probably go back to the castle after I go see Tails, you can text me if you want to see me and I'll come if they don't need me around or you can go." He knew Shadow was more than likely not going to go to the castle this soon. 

"Yeah, be glad I wasn't touching you, I'm not stopping at all next time~" Shadow chuckled and shook his head. "I'll probably just text you for now." He stopped and pulled his hands away when he healed Sonic. 

The hero was slightly blushing at what his boyfriend first said. "You better do if someone calls. You're still too injured to do anything either way so it won't be much of a problem." He chuckled and kissed his cheek and stood up. "I better get going, you need to rest and I am afraid Tails will call my family. I'll see you later Shadz." He smiled at him.

Shadow hummed and nodded. "Be careful." He purred quietly and was smiling. 

"I will, bye Shadow." He was still smiling as he dashed off to Tails' house. He made sure to fix his fur and quills then knocked on the door. 

“Coming!.” Tails shouted and opened the door a few seconds later, he looked at his best friend and smiled. “Hey, Sonic! What are you doing here? I thought you visited a ‘friend’?” He chuckled. 

The prince raised a brow at the way he said it. "What is that supposed to mean? I did visit a friend." The azure one chuckled, hoping Amy hadn't talked to Tails about seeing him with Shadow.

“Aw, come on. I know you too well to know that ‘Something came up’ means that ’something’ came up.” The young fox crossed his arms. “You’re not a good liar.” 

These words made the hero lightly blush and looked down. "Sorry, you're right. I just wasn't expecting that. Unfortunately, I can't tell you who I was with yet." He looked at Tails. "Can I come in?" 

“That’s okay.” Tails chuckled and let his ‘brother’ walk in. “I might visit the castle today, maybe even spend the night there.” He closed the door when the hero walked in. “Do you think Aleena will mind?” He scratched the back of his head since he rarely visited the castle and felt like the others were mad at him.

"Are you crazy? Everyone misses you, especially Uncle Chuck. She won't mind, you know you are always welcomed there, buddy." He chuckled and messed the fur on his head, making him laugh. 

“Alright! I get it!” He giggled and pushed the azure hedgehog’s hand away. “Do you want to go get some chili dogs? I haven’t eaten yet.” 

The azure one nodded. "Let's go." He started walking back to the door, his younger ‘brother’ following him.

“How long have you been with them\/ were you cheating on Amy?” Tails asked in curiosity. “You don’t have to tell me, but I’m just curious.” He admitted. 

Sonic shook his head. "I never cheated on Amy, we just started dating today…" He knew he could trust Tails.

“Today? Woah, okay.” Tails said in shock. “You really are the fastest hedgehog alive.” He joked. “When will I meet her?” He expected that Sonic was dating a girl since he has dated two girls already. 

"Well… About that…" The hero rubbed the back of his head. "It's… not a girl…" He confessed. 

“Wait, what?” The young genius looked at the hero in disbelief. “I didn’t know you were interested in guys.” He sounded surprised but also a little excited.

"Yeah… I didn't know either." He chuckled softly. "When he tells me he is comfortable for me to tell you, I'll tell you who it is." 

“Okay…” The fox stayed quiet for a while then snickered quietly. “I have another question.” He was trying not to smirk or laugh.

"What is it?" The hero raised a brow at hearing him snicker.

“Were you on top on bottom?” He looked at Sonic and chuckled making the hero madly blush. 

"Tails!" He shouted but not so loud and rubbed his arm to calm himself down. "I can't believe you said that." He softly laughed and shook his head. 

“I’m really sorry.” Tails broke down laughing. “I don’t know what I was thinking.” 

"Can't believe it." He laughed and ordered some chili dogs once they got there. He looked at Tails and waited for him to order what he wanted since he was going to pay.

Tails saw that and ordered then walked outside, he knew not to fight about this. Sonic grabbed the stuff then walked to Tails. "Let's go to your house. I don't want to bump into Amy."

"Okay." The kid nodded and started eating since he was starving. "Since when do you like him?" 

Sonic shrugged at his question. "I don't know… I realized I liked him a few days ago but if I'm being honest… I think I've always been attracted to him."

"Always? How long do you know him?" The fox looked at his best friend and raised a brow. "Do I know him?" He was getting worried that it was Knuckles. 

"I can't tell you much about him, you'll know right away and I don't know if he…" He wanted to tell him who he was, he knew he could trust Tails but he didn't want Shadow to be mad at him. "I'll…" He knew he could trust his best friend. "I'll tell you if you promise to keep it a secret and not ever make it obvious." He was walking to Tails' house.

The scientist nodded and looked at Sonic. "I promise." He said quickly, getting nervous. 

The azure one waited for Tails to open the door once they got there and walked in then walked to the table and sat down as he started eating. "What's wrong with you? You look worried."

"I'm just curious." Tails chuckled. "I want to know who was able to make you go there so quickly." He shrugged, he was lying but it wasn't obvious. 

"Alright… I'll tell you who since you promised you won't tell anyone but… don't judge me and just hear me out because I feel like you will disapprove of this…" He sighed. "Just know that I really like him and he really isn't using me." He was worried Tails was going to get mad.

"Who is it? You're making me more curious!" Tails groaned quietly. 

The hero chuckled. "Fine. Fine. It's…" He sighed. "It's Shadow…" He confessed. 

The young fox stayed quiet for a while as he looked at his best friend in disbelief. "You're joking." This made the hero lower his ears very lightly and shook his head. 

"No, he told me how he felt today when I was on my way here. I like him too Tails… I really do."

Tails sighed quietly and slowly nodded. "If you feel like you can trust him…" He was unsure about it. 

"I know I can trust him, Tails. I've never seen him smile before… I know he means it. He was being so nice and caring." He smiled softly.

"Smiling? Shadow? Shadow the Hedgehog? The Ultimate Lifeform?" Tails looked at Sonic confused. 

Sonic softly laughed and nodded. "He was smiling, he was happy. I know he means it, he's never been like this, never showed me his emotions other than anger before but he even apologized. I know I can trust him."

"Alright… If you say so…" The young scientist slowly nodded. "Will you tell your family?" 

"Once Shadow is ready, I will. I don't think my mother will care if I date a boy or girl." He chuckled.

"Yeah, but what if she doesn't approve of Shadow?" Tails hummed and rested back on the couch.

"It's my decision to be with him, not hers." He sighed. "I like Shadow, whether she approves or not, I'll stay with him." 

"You sound so sure. Should I be worried?" The fox chuckled. 

The hero chuckled and shook his head. "No, Tails it's just… I never felt like this before. Not with Sally or Amy. I'm actually happy, it's different with Shadow." He smiled happily.

"Seems like it." Tails hummed.
