Chapter Twenty-Five.

Tayyal & Zoya's Wedding Day Part Two.

As soon as Tayyal took his fiancee's call, he immediately knew what it was about as he saw how his mother was overworking his sister Zianna.

"Asalam Aleikum, what's wrong habibty?"

"Waleikum salaam, I need to tell you something but I need you to stay calm and let me finish, okay?"

Tayyal agreed and Zoya explained everything Zianna had told her about being 'busy'.

"I understand, habibty. I know what to do, don't worry about it," Tayyal said, trying to calm himself down but that wasn't working as it was his and Zoya's dream to have Zianna with them at their wedding.

Zianna was the main reason why Tayyal wanted to give Zoya a chance to work on her future before their wedding.

He knew that Zianna always wanted to have a future for herself. She always wanted to be a doctor but that dream was just a dream now.

"Habiby, promise me that you won't do anything that will harm Zianna more..."

"I promise and I also promise that Zianna will be by your side when you sign our Nikkah certificate. In shaa Allah," Tayyal said and then hung up after saying bye to his fiancee.

"You don't need to do that big brother. I already have a plan and I might need your help in doing what I need you for," Dahlia said making Tayyal raise his eyebrows confused.

"What are you planning little sister?"

Dahlia explained to her brother the plan she had with her best friend.

"She will take Zianna's place when mum asks her to go to her room and stay there, so she can't go to your Nikkah. Don't worry, my friend will come to the Nikkah but we need to be quick because mum has been overworking Zianna for the past hour," Dahlia said pointing at Zianna who was carrying heavy plates from the kitchen. "Tay, why does our mother hate her that much? I mean, I understand what Zianna went through but shouldn't she be angry at Dad too?" She asked.

"I don't know why Mum isn't angry at Dad but Zianna doesn't deserve any of this. And thank your friend for helping us, Dahlia."

"I will. But you need to go and get everything ready so that Zianna can be dressed and ready to go to the Hotel for the Nikkah ceremony."

Tayyal nodded but before he walked away, he turned to face his sister Zianna who was trying to be strong even though he could see that she wasn't due to her health.

They didnt want Dahlia to know anything about it because Zianna didnt want her sister to be concerned about her, which might draw attention to Nadia.

"Go, I will take care of our sister," Dahlia said, smiling.

Tayyal nodded and walked into his room with a heavy heart because of the way his mother had been treating Zianna.

I pray that one day Dad will see how much hatred Mum has for someone as innocent as Zianna, and the guilty one should be him.

Meanwhile, Zianna was getting a little tired due to the workload that Nadia had given her. She didnt even have the time for the medicines that the doctor had prescribed to her for her heart.

She took a deep breath and got up to do what Nadia wanted. But it was taking a toll on her for not taking a break to have something to eat.

"Zianna, come with me. And you can't say no," Dahlia said dragging her towards the kitchen. "Sit and have some water, " she added placing a glass of cold water in front of her sister.

"You dont need to do thia, Dahlia..."

Before Zianna could finish what she was saying, Dahlia placed a plate of food in front of her. She opened her mouth to say something but seeing the glare given by Dahlia, Zianna kept her mouth closed.

"Okay, I will eat. Thank you. But I still need to go and do what your mother has asked..."

"Don't worry about that for now. Just tell me what Mum asked to be done and I will do it for you, while you finish your food and rest for five minutes," Dahlia said, smiling.

Zianna complimented on telling her but knew that Dahlia wouldn't let it go unless she told her what needed to be done before her mother got angry.

"Fine, I will tell you. You need to get the clothes from the laundry, iron them and put them with the others," Zianna explained to her sister who nodded and smiled.

We have a lot of maids and yet Mum makes Zianna do almost every chore around the house. It will change now. Sorry, sister but you need someone to stand up for you and I think that someone would be me.

"Okay, you stay here while I go and do what you asked. And don't you dare leave without finishing your meal, okay?" Dalia warns her and then leaves her alone.

She walked out of the kitchen with one thing in her mind and that was to get one of the maids to do Zianna's chores for the day.

Then she has to get Zianna an outfit for the Nikkah and get her to the hotel before her mother can do anything to her sister.

Dahlia approached one of the maids and told her to do Zianna's chores for her.

"I will do, Dahlia. Because your sister needs to get some rest because of her condition..."

Before Dahlia could ask what the maid was talking about, she was called over by her friend.

"I will do what her chores. I will be going on," the maid said leaving Dahlia dumbfounded about what she meant.

Why did the maid say, Zianna had a condition? Does Tayyal know about this? I need to find out more before assuming everything. I also need to talk to my sister first and if she doesn't want to tell me anything, I will investigate what illness my sister has.

Dahlia walked to Zianna who was in the kitchen. Thankfully, she was still there.

"I will ask you something and please don't lie to me. Are you sick?" Dahlia asked surprising Zianna. "Please don't lie, my dear," she added.

"Yes, I am sick, I didn't tell you because I dont want to make you sad and..."

"Zianna, you are my sister. My older sister and I have a right to know if you are sick. And if I can help you by getting better."

Zianna understood what Dahlia said but she didnt want her sister to be caught in the crossfire.

"Okay, I will explain what is wrong with me. I have a heart condition and I will need surgery to rectify the problem. Tayyal has been helping me with the medical issues. Now you know, can we get back to being the way we are," Zianna explained.

Dahlia nodded and hugged her sister.

Meanwhile, Tayyal was in his room, trying to figure about what Dahlia would do to get their sister to the hotel where the Nikkah would be.

"Tay, are you dressed?" Someone asked behind the door.

"Yes, I am. I will be out in a few minutes, " he replied finishing getting dressed.

He opened the door to discover that it was his sister Dahlia who had a grin on her face.

"What did you do?" Tayyal asked.

"I did nothing except that Zianna was getting dressed to go to the venue and my friend is in her room. I will drive her there, dont worry," Dahlia said. "Why didn't you tell me about our sister condition? Don't lie to me by saying that I am young to know this. Tay, that's my older sister and I had a right to know, " she added crossing her arms.

"I didn't tell you because I didn't want to worry about it. Besides, you were in school and we didnt want to stress you out due to the fact that you were doing your final exams," Tayyal explained.

"I understand that. We need to help her, Tay. She needs us now more than ever."

"I know and I am helping her along with Azhar..."

"Who is Azhar?"

"Her boss..."

Dahlia looked at her brother with a mischievous smile knowing that Azhar was just Zianna's boss but someone important.

"Her boss or someone who has fallen for her," Dahlia says making her brother laugh.

"Dont let her hear you. You will meet him and his family at the wedding. Now go and check on our sister," Tayyal said, walking back into his room to get Zoya's gift.

Dahlia walked into Zianna's room to find her dressed while her best friend was sitting on the worn-out chair.

"Are you guys ready?"

"I don't think I want to go, Dahlia..."

"No, you are coming with us, dear sister. Not even my mother can stop us from getting you there. Now, let's go," Dahlia said and then turned to face her friend. "You know what to do. Thank you for doing this, Mia," she added.

"You are welcome. And Zianna, don't let anyone pull you down," Mia said.

"I will try."
